Alot of people are having troubles in their transactions. Might be something wrong with the servers. Last I read 100K people are having issues. So it might take a day or two.

This is the hard time for the bitcoin because the transaction fee is getting higher due to the less number of miners available but the transaction take sometimes i think atleast 6 hours to complete your trancation.

oh, I think what's wrong here Current btc prices are falling deeply, only about 6k so why the transaction fees so high. It should be the same as btc. In this time around, this is a worry in the implementation of the transaction.

That had to be one big transaction for sure. This site https://bitcoinfees.earn.com, if not already known to you, may give you approx. time and cost per transaction.

This is too bad many experience it and the worst is that the value of bitcoin drops which means we really incurred large amount when doing transactions. Bitcoin continie to crashed and we cannot help but experience this many says bitcoin cash has been supported by miners thats why it pump while tge other dump. I just hope it will recover soon so we can get back to normal transactions

Due problems with scaling people will have problems with confirmation and with fees. I saw that yesterday and looks like its really happening. I don't plan to move my bitcoins, I don't plan to sell them for bitcoincash or for some other alt, this is time for holding. Price is 1.500$ down and until its go back and situation calm down I will not do anything.
Something is happening, this bitcoincash rise surprised me, some threads that miner's are moving from btc to bch is slowing down everything. But this can last forever, situation will calm down in next few daysz maybe a week.

A lot of miners have switched to mine BCH, ergo less miners = higher fees

LOL... seriously? Guys, if this is true, then Bitcoin is royally fucked. I assume that the transaction contained a lot of dust, but I heard from one of my friends that he paid an astounding 1,111 Sat/Byte for his transaction. The tx fee is going up and up. Where is it going to stop? At 10,000 Sat/Byte?

You're playing into Bitmain's game. They switched to BCC and are spamming the BTC network to make it slower. People like you are paying a lot of money in fees for no reason. The only solution is to wait it out they won't keep their spam forever. If you send with normal fees that you'd pay 2 days ago, like $2 it will still get confirmed.
We are repeating the situation from 2 months ago.

Bitcoin is currently mining less than 3 blocks an hour, which is why there are so many unconfirmed transactions.

BCH's difficulty adjusts tonight, so some of the hashrate might come back to bitcoin, in which case the transaction backlog will get cleared.

A lot of miners have switched to mining bitcoin cash, since the bitcoin difficulity got harder in the last couple of days hence why the transaction are starting to get slow and they get unconfirmend and the fees getting higher, and with the hard fork that was supposed to take part starting tomorow being canceled all the hype behiend the high demand of bitcoin for the last couple of weeks was shut down, but i don't think that this will last, surely people will come back and we will start to see bitcoin clim back again.

I recommend to make a post here if your transaction is stuck, the guy is boosting them very fast.

I also made two transactions on Saturday and hasn't been confirmed, I am still waiting for the transaction to be confirmed. This is so unusual, transactions taking longer than 48 hours to confirm and high transaction fees. I also paid $13 transfer fee. I read this other article and they wrote that there is currently more $700 million worth of unconfirmed transaction with a total of 32MB I reckon.

Alot of people are having troubles in their transactions. Might be something wrong with the servers. Last I read 100K people are having issues. So it might take a day or two.
The network is under threat from all the competitors who are trying to destroy and scare people away from bitcoin, the network hash rash has gone down considerably as the miners are moving away from bitcoin and supporting bitcoin cash at the moment and there are huge transactions being done by Roger and these issues are testing the limits and raising the transaction fees to scare people away.

If it's so easy to disrupt Bitcoin this way then there isn't a future for it. If governments decided to attack Bitcoin then it would completely destroy it as they would have much more funding to attack with.

The hash rate has fallen by 50% because miners moved to BCH
https://blockchain.info/charts/hash-rate?timespan=30days
Some commentary on the the underlying scaling problem.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/lightning-must-strike-soon-bitcoin-facing-backlogs-as-scalability-solution-awaited

There will be a huge decrease in hashing difficulty for bitcoin on November 17. That will increase the efficiency of the remaining miners and fees will drop and the backlog will clear.

If you know what is good for you, don't sell your BTC. this is the best time to buy from those selling theirs. Since CME added BTC to its platform, I knew this would happen and the spamming BTC network is obviously from them. Expect the price to drop to 3000$ ... They are cheats and can never be trusted. This is what they did to the Traditional financial zone that made the old system less trustworthy. Now they trying to hijack this from the masses again.

BCH is just taking advantage of the same pressure and I believe calculated a time to strike the BTC network. Honestly, this will be the biggest sabotage of the BTC network.

Don't be surprised that you paid too much just to get 0 confirmation. Always monitor unconfirmed transactions through https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions and if you see that there's hundred thousands transactions that are stuck there, think twice if you do really need to transact for that moment. There's an attack with the bitcoin network that results to delayed transactions.

A lot of miners have switched to mining bitcoin cash, since the bitcoin difficulity got harder in the last couple of days hence why the transaction are starting to get slow and they get unconfirmend..

So, will miners now just switched to whichever bitcoin version is easier to mine?

If so, the transaction backlog will swing wildly from one version of bitcoin to the other as the difficulty changes, all the miners switch coins and mine until that difficulty changes, then switch back, etc. And you could expect this kind of delay every difficulty change and it will get worse every time there is a bitcoin fork.

it's not about how much you paid in fees for your transaction , it's about how many people used higher fee than yours
the blockchain at the moment is facing huge amount of transactions ( 167K at the time of post ) so that's the problem

also a lot of miners stopped mining and went to mine BCH

This is no attack... the transaction rate is close to normal. Miners switched to Bitcoin Cash, because it is more profitable. Block time was huge, transactions were not processed. Situation will normalize, because difficulty for BCH just exploded, but this is the second time this year, that we were close to 200K transaction backlog. This MUST NOT happen again, otherwise people lose trust in bitcoin.

This is what happens if mining is centralized. The greedy miners actually don't care about transactions waiting to be confirmed. It's all about profit.

The bitcoin team must increase the block size as soon as possible, otherwise BCH will take over in the long run. The situation is very serious.

Do not worry if there is no confirmation yet. Keep calm and believe that it will be confirmed sooner. You know if it is a big transaction, they will not confirm it very soon because they will check it for many times for accuracy and no mistakes. It may give you a little bit fear because the confirmation is delayed but I know that it will come sooner not later than this day.

Saying higher is putting it mildly. It is outrageous! Imagine paying $3 on a transaction of a mere $20 and one had to wait for 24hrs two days ago for it to pull through. OP, no one can really give you the exact time your transaction can pull through.

Processing transactions on time has always been the bane of Bitcoin. One would have thought that the previous fork would have addressed it.

Now it is very visually shown as the blockchain of bitcoin depends on miners. It is very dangerous precedent which speaks about an opportunity to affect market bitcoin, manipulating rather large number hash capacity. I consider, it is lack of code of bitcoin which needs to be eliminated in the nearest future. So far didn't use it in the purposes, pernicious for bitcoin.

welcome to the club bro. this is gonna be like this for a minute, you may want to look at other blockchains in the meanwhile if you need to send funds with any quickness. I sent a decently fee'd transaction to hitBTC literally yesterday, it took going to bed and waking up + 6 hours for it to get a single confirm. you can attribute this to all this BCH craziness going down; suffice it to say market conditions are being used to the best advantage at the moment.

you could still be looking at a 24+ hour conf, it just really depends how congested it is right now (or how the hashpower fluctuations are wrecking havoc on network fidelity).

this is greed.
