Hey Smoothie -

I've been trying to order stuff from you but you never reply, hence this post since I've heard I'm not alone. I know you had some issues there but don't let it be your downfall, shit happens, I still trust your coins, and I'm sure I'm not alone!

Thanks -

Owlcatz

I'm a fan for sure and just wanted to say thanks for being patient with me for my purchase.  I know I didn't make it easy at times lol, seriously though keep up the great work.

the unfunded Kamehameha set that went up for auction was probably the last straw, not only did someone blatantly screw him and his line of coins by agreeing to fund them and not pulling through.. but then you also had greenplastic run smoothie up in a bidding war when he was trying to correct what the first guy did. double whammy of disrespect.

I agree, but still, some kind of closure would be appreciated, as I  would like to buy coins if possible, so if hes really done he could at least lock his threads.   ???

Who was the user that did not fund it when they said they would?!

I think he's just been busy building a new hawaiian villa/farm/compound with all his mad bits and mooneros.  ;D

He'll come back, when he's good and ready... maybe. Until then, cheers and thanks for everything, smoothie!

I do hope he returns.  His coins were really beautiful.
No idea what happened though (besides what is shared in this thread)

I hope this is true and smoothie can provide an update about the coins when he has a chance.  Agreed with owlcatz's sentiment about locking the threads if he's really done with sales here.

I can shoot him a text and see whats up if you guys want? My guess is that he is just taking a break and will eventually come back and reply.

Please do; I think that would be good and perhaps allay some concerns.

That totally sucks but I've reached out with offers to help smoothie with whatever he needed and not even gotten a 'no thanks' reply.  All he had to do was ask and I'd have secured those Kamehameha from the scammer and jerk who caused all the trouble.

Let's hope smoothie is just busy planting coffee/avocado/mango/macadamia on his volcano-top compound and will eventually be back to make that 1000 XMR platinum coin I've been pestering him about for years! ;D ;D ;D

I thought it was tacky for Smoothie to bid up the auction, as well.

(Smoothie made the error. Period.)

Don't blame the market.    ::)

if i was as rich as some of the old school people must be by now there's no way i'd ever bother doing anything required customers any more.

if i were him i'd wish all my existing coins out in the world a beautiful life and go do something else.

i wonder how many other personalities we know and love will slowly fade away as the scene gets louder and more toxic.

It's a good thing everyone isn't in it for the money then!

That does appear to be the trend.

you bet, but it's less about money and more to do with avoiding inconvenience and thankless effort.

i saw in the gravitate thread he said he'd made a profit of £3000 out all his works. after all that work and hassle i would've wanted a few million.

there's got to be a point where everyone questions why they're dealing with assholes all day long but i'd be the first to admit i ain't no good at anything customer facing.

To be fair gravitate screwd a ton of people over out of money.  No one really gave him any grief before these coins came out and people found out they were empty when they paid for loaded coins.  I thankfully didn't have any money tied up in them, but would you not be a little upset if your loaded coins were now left with zero bitcoin on them.  But I get you point.  I make coins myself and it is a painstaking and tedious process to make assembled coins.
