They are posicioning themselves on the scaling issue. Sorry I don't comment more because I'm in a rush but this seems important.

This is just a suggestion.He couldn`t tell wether or not the biggest BTC companies will move to altcoins.
There`s no reason for them to do this.This is just another Segwit supporter ,who wants to destroy core bitcoin and he is spreading fake news to spread panic around the real bitcoin users.

But when friends don't let friends use Xapo? What do you got!

I feel that all the forces are coming together to end Bitcoin rule as the crypto king, as much as I like Bitcoin, I can now understand why it's happening, bcc has 8mb block, cheaper transactions fee, maybe just maybe now I feel segwit2x could have actually saved Bitcoin from this fall, maybe just maybe I think we'll make a mistake by not extending support to Bitcoin cash. Honestly it will take a miracle to save Bitcoin here, but I feel we should cash on bcc and get btc.

Ted Rogers should spend more time on his company problems before worrying about the future of Bitcoin. Perhaps he can start with telling us how the hell did they come up with the idea of charging transaction fee to receivers. Last person to listen when it comes to problems of Bitcoin.

Well sure, go ahead, move on to Bitcoin Cash or Ethereum. Taking millions of tx and users with them LOL, it doesn't work that way. We'll simply choose another service if they choose to move on from Bitcoin. We use them so far because they're offering service to our Bitcoin-related demands. The community will stay and choose the original Bitcoin, we don't follow the company. If those company leaves Bitcoin completely (which I'm sure they won't), they will lose their customer and the new company takes its place.

So, the president of Xapo, (ho's name is also Roger, what a coincidence) who runs basically a bitcoin banks is saying bch is better.

All of his business model, which includes bitcoin debit cards and online wallets is based on off chain transactions and exchange from bitcoin to usd , yet he talks about fees.
Really? The guys that make a living out of 3rd party services fees are concerned about the user fees.
It's like a wig maker advertising for chemotherapy.

Everyone is free to talk about bitcoin, but I think everything depends on the user, as long as the loyal bitcoin user then anything done to replace bitcoin will be difficult.

If this happens it is better to go ethereum since bitcoin cash is garbage. But before going to some altcoins it is better to know if the majority of the holders of bitcoin would like the transfer. Since almost are loyal to bitcoin it is impossible to move and the demand on bitcoin is high.

This is funny, they are so desperate and what makes him think that millions of Bitcoin users will follow them if big companies move to Bitcoin Cash or Etherum? Lol. They will not decide which cryptocurrency should be used, the community will and it's clearly Bitcoin. There are lots of alternative Bitcoin company and platforms out there where people can buy, sell and trade Bitcoins. Well it's just full speculation without any evidence by Ted Roger or just another market manipulation so don't worry about this news. Hold your Bitcoins!

For regular micro payments Bitcoin Cash & Ethereum are the cheaper option at the moment. Xapo is off-chain and still cheaper that both of these options and this is why he is saying that BTC will still be used. Xapo exist, because BTC transactions is slow, so it makes perfect sense why Xapo is staying with BTC.

In future this will change, because BTC will scale with the LN and Xapo's off-chain feature will not be useful anymore. <well less useful> Then Xapo can just switch their business model to use BTC instead of their off-chain internal ledger. <They will have grown a huge user base by then>

I have the same thoughts. This is just another suggestion. The altcoin market is so big that no one can say quite reasonably.

They who said that statement only try to collapse bitcoin. but actually it is jast a manipulation market so people inclined to sell their bitcoin and buy bitcoin cash in bulk..

Well he do understands that fee will let him live for more years and yeah guess what who's talking about the fees. I stopped using his service because of the fee and even before this correction. Very funny on how Rogers saying that bitcoin only but telling that others may move to bitcoin cash and Ethereum. Bitcoin will lead all the crypto's and we are now back, bitcoin's price increased again.
