Hello,

What are the known and well regulated "banks" or how to call them, cause not banks accepting btc yet, but as far as I heard some companies do give you Visa card for BTC holders internationally.

So the question is, please share you experience and name of companies  giving Visa cards for BTC to be able to use internationally

I use bitpay, they are a bitcoin wallet that also has a bitpay visa that you can use to convert bitcoin into USD

you need to download the wallet first then enter in the information and pay about 10 bucks worth of bitcoin to order the bitpay VISA

Been a few threads on this already, but the evolving situation is this: most services previously able to provide simple Bitcoin-enabled debit card payments have been forced to apply more stringent regulations. This is down to the fact that Visa and Mastercard (basically THE card providers for all these services) have adopted more AML/KYC procedures that are compliant to international standards (in other words, within the EU jurisdiction). So those like Xapo et al have been scaling down supported countries to just within the EU. You might want to look at new card projects like Bonpay and Monaco.

The former already has a product, the latter about to, both have had ICOs. While they still have the above restrictions currently applying, supposedly both are in negotiation to work out deals with Visa to offer a true global coverage. Whether that happens or not is anyone's guess.

If you are not from european countries than no any bitcoin card will be delivered to you as recently wavecrest (the one issuer used by most of the bitcoin based card services) updated terms & condition and not supporting non-EU countries.

So there is almost no any alternative for bitcoin right now, https://wagecan.com/ claims to deliver their card worldwide but their fee is very high and I haven't tried them personally.

The first thing you need to establish is that if you are not from European Countries, just start thinking of alternatives other than bitcoin ATM card because both Visa and MasterCard have withdrawn their services outside that particular region. Even BONPAY that pride themselves as delivering worldwide have change their focus to only European countries. Its when you have established that, then you can start looking for services that are suitable to your need.

Not good choice to use wagecan the fee rates is really high compare to other..
Bitpay could be more trusted card and most company online use  bitpay.

There are a lot at the moment, but they are very difficult to use because a lot of stores are not accepting them because you need to put your pin, and the store needs a POS, not all the stores have this kind of system, at least on my country.
Wirex is a good card, but they have insane fees and sometimes the website is very bugged, so it suggest you to use the card from Bitwala, it is going to be shipped to your door in less than 8 days if you live on the europe.
And the fees are pretty low, it is my favourite, and the card looks very handsome.

Yes, I am regular XAPO user. Their btc/usd exchange rate is very good and you can use their card on every ATM worldwide and the best is that they have fixed fee for withdraw, so it's not a good if you daily withdraw 10$, but if you withdraw for example 500$ weekly or let's take 100$, it's good option for you. I can highly recomended xapo, I have never been unsatisfied by using their service.

The Xapo card is one of the best that i have ever used, i really suggest you to use it because it doesnt have high fees like all of those sites that you mentioned before are costing.
bitwala card costs more than $20, xapo costs only $15 and they are able to shit it worldwide. bitwala is a good card too, but it needs to be a little bit more developed because the website is not good, and there are some bugs at the time that you want to load the card, but it is fine because it is one of the best cards so far.
there are a lot of cards, just make your own research about that.

Do I need to verify my account to order Xapo Card?

No, not necessarily. Depending on whether you verify your account or not you have different
card limits.

E.g. as an unverified user:

• Value of lifetime purchases: 2500 $
• Maximum ATM Withdrawal (lifetime): 1000 $

E.g. as an verified user:

• Value of purchases: 20000 $
• Maximum ATM Withdrawal (day): 2000 $
• No Limit for purchases or ATM Withdrawal (lifetime)

As you can see the lifetime load limits for the Xapo Card are rather low if you are uninterested in verifying your account.

I have Xapo and Bitpay cards.

I must say they are really not very reliable, especially for online stuff.

I've used the Xapo one four times now. Two of those times it was rejected. The Bitpay one caused me to get locked out of my Amazon account.

Obviously it's not the Bitcoin element, but the prepaid card aspect. Lots of places seem to have a problem with them.

I use two bitcoin visa debit cards which allow me to convert bitcoins into cash, shop, wthdraw from local ATMs .
The first card i use primarily in my regular needs is from xapo. It is a physical debitcard, while i deposit bitcoins to xapo wallet and then withdraw at my locality.
I would also like to discuss about another card i have got from coins.ph. This one also works similarly as xapo but it has no physical shape.

There is bitpay, bit card and TenX for your purpose. They accept most of the countries in the world but there is too much fees for that one. I mean its just ridiculous how everything works with the card. You can load the card for minimum 1K USD while the fees are 2-3% for that one. And also when you make purchase or when you are performing transaction it will cost you 2-3% again. So I believe thats not much profitable when you use a crypto related card. You can try it and also there is membership cost of $50 to increase your card limit fro spending and receiving for monthly basis.

I think the reason for that might be that they are often issued by the same company and
therefore it doesn´t really matter at which Bitcoin debit card provider you order the card.

I assume that you are based in the US, but in Europe nearly every available Bitcoin debit
card is issued by Wavecrest (a company based in Gibralter that offers a white-label debit card solution).
This is kind of unfortunate, because if you experience problems with your Bitcoin debit card at
a shop like Amazon you will most likely have the same problems with a new Bitcoin debit card as well.

Maybe this will change in the future when there is more competition and cryptocurrencies are viewed
more favourably by the general public and the regulatory bodies.

Yup. Both wavecrest cards which is a tad precarious. If they throw in the towel there basically will not be bitcoin debit cards any more.

I finally got Amazon to accept one after an hour of phone sex but I dunno if it was the card for sure. They do have a habit of rejecting virtual cards like entropay too.
