I am liking that Crowd Share enables the developer community to contribute source code to the repository. Then each time the source code is consumed and executed on the Crowd Computer, the community member who contributed the code is compensated.

I just found out thatdevelopers and novices can build apps for free on the system.

The token is used to reward nodes for their compute of Crowd Apps. It accounts for work done in a micro-ledger of sorts. Where a process is handled by many possible nodes working to complete computation for the app and a record of their contribution is made as the processing occurs. As the computation is completed and returned reward can be distributed proportionally through a broader ledger.

Beta testing is not really alien to me. Have done it in the past for some really cool gadgets and user apps. But this is the first time getting into the developer's shoe. There is no hard cap as we are allowing the public to decide the value of the tokens rather than pegging an arbitrary value. There will be 1.6B tokens to be fully distributed at this fluctuating rate. This combination creates a “no hard cap scenerio"

The use of decentralized computer systems seems to be a good and unique project that deserves to be monitored.

The Crowd App Studio is blockchain agnostic, leaving blockchain development and deployment up to thr program creator.
Crowd Machine does not run on a blockchain.

Crowd Machine is blockchain agnostic.. it doesn't have it's own blockchain. It can use many different existing blockchain. dAPPs can be built and processed on many different ones.

Only a certain amount of CMCT are released each day, once that cap is reached, no more tokens are available for the day. Personally, I would use that information to gauge my sense of urgency knowing there is a chance  I may not be able to purchase CMCT on the day I want to because someone else beat me to it.

You think the price is going to the same? Do you know how to do math? Do you know what supply and demand is? Why would the price stay the same if there is very high demand, the price will be higher, if there is low demand, the price will be lower.
Price discovery is just a fancy word for letting the market/exchange set the price rather than have it pegged. What do you not understand about that?

CMCT’s allocated for the first 20 days of the public sale will be distributed pro rata based on participant’s contribution to the total ETH paid in by all participants (private and public) for pre-sale period.

I still don't understand the pricing ?? Current price on the token portal per token is listed as  $0.0906 and a few days ago it was $0.0046. does this mean that earlier contributors in the pre-sale get a better price or will it be evened up ? It kind of takes away any icentive to invest if the price is doubling every couple of days ?

If private sale token allocation is included in the 125MM token allocation for presale period, how come the calculation on the tokensale website started at 0 eth and not at what was raised from the private sale? So based on the current price, at the end of ico, at 1.6 bn supply, the mcap should be at 432 millions
The part for the team is not a problem for me and to be honest a lot of team take more. But I'm amazed to see an ico ending at half a billion mcap.

When do we know how many token are we getting for those that participated on the very first day?

I see there is 15 % out of the 2 billion max supply that is for the team. Will they be locked up? Does this mean that at the end of ico there will be 1.7 billion circulating token?

I did, but I read talks about the pricing per token and people asking for exchange listing and no transparency on why the US was excluded and when we could potentially get an update whether positive or negative. When you talk about the pricing like you just did, you’re making it sound like the token price is set. At least that’s what the message is coming across, because some presale buyers are strategizing to sell and dump once listing occurs. If the US sale is open, this would potentially affect the pricing.

I cannot participate in price speculation. I will say, for the most part, things are worth what others are willing to pay. And the more transactions at a particular price range indicates its value to a higher degree of accuracy.

I think this kind of project is the good one, the dev team working hard in the background to deliver what it was promised. I'll keep an eye on this one.

So the ones selling at that low price are probably pre-ico investors or just relocaters, IE seeing the market go up, they want to sell ALTS in order to have ether/bitcoin. Price will surely move once its listed on other exchanges and I am sure the team is doing everything they can to do so but they cant comment on it because of NDA and /or regulations. We all just needs to be patient. Just look at EOS last year. Its coming

Bitforex is not the official listing of CMCT so they wont. 2. They cant comment on that. 3. They didnt chose the listing price.
Cudos to you all admins. Standing ovations. Ofc this was expected but normal stuff like no price discussions, speculation, exchange talks etc not being considered are really the worst. Good job still answering these guys. However, I would suggest you put some rules in this TG. There are alot of people reading comments and it would have a negative effect on the overall sentiment if these kinds of discussions where to reoccur. If they repeatedly go against the rules then simply ban them. You guys need to create a proper environment for platform discussion.

It’s still early days, but so far things have gone well! Building a world class product and getting it right for the users is the teams biggest priority. As the product gains more adoption, the awareness will grow too.

Price drop is actually good for this project. I know we paid 32 cents per token. Who cares !!! Price will go up. Take this as an advantage to buy more on exchanges. Also low price can make developers get involve with the project and start building dapps. Remember , its an ico. If you know what that means, you wouldn’t be mad. I’m not. Why? Because I didn’t sell my car or house or use my rent money to buy during the ico and expect a quick flip. Those days are gone. Get over it !!!

I think you guys know better than me on what choices you have. My question remains, are there any plans in progress on increasing the amount of ways a user can obtain your token besides the daily sale? For some, other options may be easier than this daily sale yes.

During the ICO on a pre-sale phase, I got 0.25 per token as CMCT was distributed . When it hit the exchange on bitforex , I was able to stack up more due to dumps of several token holders. Hopefully I can stack up more.

CrowdMachine had its medium website cloned during presale with the blog posts adjusted to get people to send Eth to an unknown wallet. We implemented these filters to protect people from things like that. It's been a huge problem for lots of icos

I think we're looking at 20x 0.30 at least. Though I think it won't be as quickly as people are expecting it to be. The longer you hold this the better. If you're contributing to CM apps, even more son.
15 years devotion and devolopment on the Dev side means a lot to me. It's not like they're going to abandon the project any time soon.
If anything it can only get better from here. Enjoy the market discount on CMCT while it lasts.

That has it's own risks. Investors don't need protecting, you're free to do whatever you want with your coins once you get them. If people are dumping them for 80% discount on exchanges then that's their problem. I for one am welcoming the 80% discount to accumulate more coins.
Crowd Machine has stated very firmly that they have no say in the price of CMCT. It is entirely dictated by the market

CMCT is truly a utility token and a lot of people that bought it may well be holding it to use on the network. Which would mean that lots of people cashed out at once and now we have the holders. (This is my personal opinion, Not financial advice)

The thing with Crowd Machine is the way it shows how great potentials it have . Very particular about the DaPP development will be easier and make a snappy deployment because of its visually intuitive interface once it rolls out.

It is against the spirit of “price discovery approach “ which the team set upfront if the team worry about cheap token being sold.  It is no doubt that the current design of this ICO mechanism only works well if there is actual demand for their utility token.

It seems you don’t quite understand how it works. There is only 2.5 mil allocated on any one day. And the whole purpose of the extended ico is to raise as much capital as possible. Which means you need a s high price per token as possible. The market dictates the price , where investors will assess the exchange value and the ico value on any one day. Which is why the public sale is delayed. While the price keeps decreasing the public sale will not be restarted, as if it does the price will further decrease as there is very little demand on the exchanges for cmct. Hence my suggestion would increase demand, increase the price bit short and long term and enable the company to raise more money, which is the entire point of the ico.

I didn’t get that from the article. I think he was trying to get the point across that the current crypto space is very reminiscent of the dot com bubble: Lots of grossly overvalued companies selling ideas with very little basis in reality. I don’t think anyone can deny that.

As much as I believe in the tech behind CM and it’s potential value later on, I think it is shocking that CM team believe there should be no expectation of profit or even an explanation to its investors for ICO. Where would CM be without all the money from their investors in the first place?! I find their response extremely ungrateful and disrespectful quite frankly. It’s fine if the ICO wasn’t what was expected, that’s crypto world, but to tell people that it’s not their duty nor are owed any explanation  is absurd.

These have been created but are held back for future use. The crowdmachine token is utilised for powering dapps built using the studio and also for the reward system from crowdshare and crowdcomputer. If all of the current tokens become locked by hodlers, then there would be no liquidity for those to buy and power apps. The additional unreleased tokens right now are reserved for various purposes as shown  in  the whitepaper token economics section, but one of those purposes is to ensure there are enough tokens in the market for people to buy and power their apps.

It’s still early days, but so far things have gone well! Building a world class product and getting it right for the users is the teams biggest priority. As the product gains more adoption, the awareness will grow too.

So just a bit of a PSA with regards to BitForex and by extension, Crowd Machine daily volume.

If any of you have been paying attention to CMCT price, you’ll notice that price has been floating around .03c for the last few days. You’ll also know that BitForex has the largest amount of CMCT exchanged at over 90% market share. You’ll often see BitForex’s prices trading at a large premium to other exchange prices, recently as high as .037c today while everything else was around .03c

Sensing an opportunity for arbitrage, I sent a little bit of CMCT to BitForex to sell for USDT which I would then send to a cheaper exchange (HitBTC) and buy more CMCT for 10-20% discount. That was the plan.
Once I started using BitForex I started noticing something strange. In the trade log you can see trades going off continuously at minimum 2, max 5 trades per minute. Amounts vary from 300CMCT per trade, all the way up to 30,000CMCT.

Thinking that this shows a lot of liquidity, I put in my sell order for 500 CMCT @ 0.37c, (between the .0369 bid and .0.371 ask) a price which hundreds of trades had executed at before, according to the trade logs. Almost immediately all trading stopped on the exchange. My order sat unfilled for 30 minutes and not a single trade executed in the trade logs while my order was in there. The order books didn’t change at all. When I cancelled my order, trading resumed immediately with 2-5 trades per minute and nothing moving on the order books.

Crowd Machine doesn't limit a project's ability to remain proprietary. They can still utilize the benefits of Crowd Machine. We've been able to do this for enterprise clients who maintain proprietary systems.

Crowd machine is really a great project and to top that while holding its ICO it has been on the market for trading. I am not into the meteoric price swing but simply the long term operation of the business.

Assuming things start popping off again in alts and the network gets clogged with high fees; transactions for CMCT will be held up too.

In phase 1, nodes will have to be set up and run by Crowd Machine for beta testing, this doesn't include AWS. Agoric Nodes have specifications that require extensive testing for resiliency and require more than an ACN would. The results of the beta test can result in further testing or move to phases including opening up to 3rd party operators.

 Polymath is a Crowd Machine technology partner. The Polymath relationship is one where Polymath users can use Crowd Machine to build and run apps that use the Polymath platform. As you’re probably aware, Crowd Machine is blockchain agnostic which allows those Polymath customers to build apps that use any blockchain they wish.

Where I'm not intimately familiar with the progress of their app, I can only assume that they would use Crowd App Studio to accomplish this. People still awaits for trading from bittrex , idex and other exchanges hosting CMCT token to resume since the halt due to token heist. It has been more than 50 days  but still hoping that it might open soon . Crowd machine acadamy was recently announce so we are really hoping that people behind crowd machine has concluded their investigation over the unfortunate incident.
