Title: Will Artificial Pumps happen more often from now on?
Post by: CryptGuardian on November 13, 2017, 11:40:06 PM
Like BCH, the last days there seemed to be some big pumps into coins.
Will this happen more often from now on, should we be alert?

Artificial pumps? Are you pertaining to bubble? As far as I know, there were no bubble occurred at all. The recent increase in Bitcoin Cash's price is due to some people jumping into it. That is not a bubble at all since there is a solid reason behind it. A bubble occur when there is no logical reason for the increase. In the case of Bitcoin's pump recently, it is because people are getting ready for the upcoming fork. They stacked some coins in their bag that caused increase in demand for Bitcoin. There is also a solid fact here, thus it was not a bubble at all.

OP has asked about pumps and not about a bubble.BCH pump is entirely different fro other altcoin pumps.BCH claimed to be the next bitcoin and even miners switched from mining bitcoins to BCH.But this could not be expected in case of other altcoins and i think that no miner would switch from bitcoin to mine a altcoin.Altcoins could just be pumped but BTC holders could not be made to switch to altcoins.

This isn't what OP is saying, OP is saying is that the artificial pump of altcoins going to happen more due to the fact that people now see that this can happen, and can make a ton of people a lot of money. But yes, artificial pumps are going to continue to happen. As if there is money to be made, people are going to be involved in trying to make it happen.

This is a real phenomenon in what happened with BCH, crazy to think of even what people can do. It will happen again.
