Title: Withdrawing BTC in the US for less technically inclined people
Post by: C-Fu on November 14, 2017, 06:12:57 AM
My sister is studying in the States (Chicago) and while currently I send money via TT to her bank, I was thinking sending her BTC may be a better idea (and faster too). But she's not technically inclined, I need a way for her to convert/withdraw her BTC in a wallet to US Dollars as easy as possible, fees be damned ;D At least temporarily until she's comfortable of exchanging via localbitcoin or something. I heard some scary stories regarding the feds arresting people via localbitcoin and I don't think my sister wants that.

Here in SouthEast Asia we have remitano and Luno via Play Store/App Store and few others that makes withdrawing/exchanging to our local currency easy. I'd like it if there's a similar method/app in the states that does the same thing.

Cheers and thanks!
