I am curious whether there is any drawbacks with bitcoin gold or any logical reasoning. Since, it seems it hasn't got any attention although being sister coin of Bitcoin ??? :-[ :-\ ???

no one is talking about it cos majority is just waiting to unload it and get some free money.

I think after the battle between bitcoin and bitcoin cash, investors and people that got bitcoin gold free will remember to storm the market. So let us just be at alert.

Maybe that fork it's just a way to make some money...but why you talk about a scam?

Dude this is like the next bitcoincash. They want to use the name to become famous and get rich. I think some people will invest in it so it will damage bitcoin in the near future.

I will also make a coin bitcoinmoney. No I am not I am just joking xD.

Bitcoin gold is definitely not scam it's just people don't like to talk to it or bitcoingold doesn't get peoples attention even though it uses the word it bitcoin.

You are right they make used of the name bitcoin to ride the fame of bitcoin to become rich. Still it's not a scam.

Just another pump and dump alternative coin in my opinion. People know that after they get free Bitcoin Gold, they'll just dump it for easy profit. And the community is not that great in my opinion, also, there's a competition ongoing for BTC and BCH so I think Bitcoin Gold wouldnt get that much attention now but who knows, maybe i'll get attention someday.

Can we refer to bcash as BitmainCash instead.  It brings the coin into better light for everyone.

Bitcoin gold is not like bitcoin because it is GPU mineable and pre-mined for many days by its developer so people don't have much trust in it which is basically controlled by few devs.

Also devs hadn't published the bitcoin gold blockchain at promised dates and hype of bitcoin cash and b2x took over buzz around bitcoin gold.

because people talks about btc and bch,they dont pay attention to other alts because the coins i mentioned are battling for the throne.

I don't think it's a scam project. But nobody can be sure that they are legit as of now. BTW as I know they don't have well known developers at their staff.

There have been numerous forks of BTC, where are they now?
BCH is forcing itself to be meaningful but the only way they can do it is through an extreme, coordinated effort to massively pump the coin.
The majority of the crypto community didn't see this as BCH replacing BTC, they merely just rode the pump to get more btc.

And that's how it is, btc is really the only reliable crypto right now.
It has many real world uses, it is the most widely accepted, and the most important it is the coin with the most liquidity.
BCH has no chance.

So, going back to bitcoin gold, if bch has no chance, than what chance does bitcoin gold have?

Bitcoin Gold is an altcoin and most likely is a pump and dump coin. People might not have been talking that much about Bitcoin Gold because they think it is just another coin that passes by and would not be that much of a hype coin. Nothing to really talk about or sometimes I would hear my friends say it's not going to worth anything in the future.

Well, if you are to look its statistics. It is 900+ in rank and is only 200 USD. Many dumpers dumped this coin and that make the price 200 USD. I believe that right after the fork the price of it is .08 btc/btg. Not much of a coin that you can notice. Well its free and everybody has dumped it anyways.

Is there anybody who already claimed Bitcoin Gold?? I tried to check my balance on https://mybtgwallet.com but there's anything!! I followed all the tutorials online (to do the right actions) before the btg fork and i moved my bitcoin from my electrum wallet only after 2 weeks from the fork. But now the checker say that i have any btg. I tried also on coinomi and the answer was the same. Is there anyone who could help me or at least that had my same problem? Thanks guys

The entire community wants to know what will happen with BCH vs BTC right now.
The news stay the same, Bitcoin Gold has failed to win over investors, its future is dropping to an all-time low the day after its software client went live.
There is no further update as far as i know.

It's not really a sister of Bitcoin but just another fork that was made to generate extra profit for the developers.
I mean the idea of creating a Bitcoin like coin that is mineable with GPUs is good but there are enough altcoins that already have this feature.

I think the BTG are just a game of big whales, I can see any actual value of it. Especially, the wallet of btg has not be developed.

really what you say, bitcoin gold seems forgotten by many people, I assume that bitcoin gold is not as successful as bitcoin cash, and I also do not know what is the cause of the less gold bitcoin that trades it.

Calling it a sister coin to bitcoin is an insult to bitcoin. It's not getting any attention because it's a poorly developed and thought out project that basically tried to get a cash grab off the bitcoin name. A lot of people who weren't experienced in the underlying tech and market sentiment thought this was going to give them a lot of free money, and were sorely mistaken.

As I think many people are not in a interest in invest in bitcoin gold and now gradually its popularity is fading away.

There is nothing to talk about on bitcoin gold. It was obviously a doubious fork that was not needed, wanted and absolute unneccesary distraction in cryptocurrency. I hope it will never be talked about. It should be forgotten in the grave yard of fake fork coin!

how btg can be sibling with btc ?, maybe just some one claim and equate btc with btg, this is almost same as bth. the category btg, bth in altcoin, while bitcoin is founding coin which includes cryptocurrency.

Because the behavior of the people behind the project has been sketchy. I wouldnt call it a scam per say, but its been a failure and messy so far. They should have just air dropped it, would have been much simpler.

before the 2nd hardfork i was thought my local exchange will accept bitcoin gold as part of their support market but apparently they don't have any plan to do so and i have to say bitcoin gold is failed as you can see now even most people only talking about bitcoin cash which is being pumped and even bitcoin gold have no position on coinmarketcap  

 Probably the topic # 1 of these days was a battle between BTC and BCH. Most people living in the world of crypto news discussed it, and for a moment forgot about Bitcoing Gold. Meanwhile, the good news about this currency also appeared: now Trezor wallet will support this altcoin!

Hiss, indeed bitcoin gold is cryptocurrency which is basically just want to find a benefit from the popularity of which has been obtained on a bitcoin. Same thing with bitcoin cash, where the rise is simply a buzz can be obtained in the absence of a clear certainty about the direction that will be chosen for its growth. So, indeed we should comprehend and understand what needs to be done and what should be left. Don't get too fixated or obsessed of the words of someone who is not necessarily such a reality, those looking to experience as much as possible.

There is nothing to talk about it all. All I know is they recently launched their blockchain and it is live now but there isn't any official guide on how to claim bitcoin gold as lot's of people are waiting to claim their bitcoin gold. I believe bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold are just trash coins you should dump it as soon as you get them. I don't see any potential in these coins to grow in future. 

because theres nothing to talk about,its another shitcoin that try to make attention and panic to the users.suddenly its DOA so why expect someone to talk about it when theres really non special.lets wait for another years if the BTG will prosper but for now.EXPECT NOTHING
