my name is chris and i,m a absolute beginner in the world of cryptocurrency! I think i have a problem,i bought a few litecoins, and the only thing i have is the receive address off the wallet, and not the name off the wallet,i sent the company where i bought te Litecoins a message if the can find the wallet maybe, but the can not. I looked in my browser history, but i cant find it. :-\ Is there a other way to find out where my litecoins are at this moment? I have only the receive adress and date, i know it sound stupid but it was my first buy, now i have a harware wallet so no more problems withe that. Thnxs, Chris Title: Re: forgot my wallet! Post by: LTU_btc on November 15, 2017, 03:10:38 PM Oh, sorry for. As I understand, you used address from online wallet? And you don't have private key of that wallet, if yes, that's a big problem. If you know date when you bought litecoins, it shouldn't be problem to find your used wallet in browser history. Just check that date in history and you should find it. But if you don't remember login detais and haven't saved it anywhere, I can't imagine how to access your Litecoins.

Thnxs, Chris If your wallet was on an exchange / service / mining pool / gambling site, it could be that you would be able to find it through this site, https://www.walletexplorer.com/ You stated that you have a hardware wallet NOW, which indicates that you didn't have one back then?? Thnxs, Chris I think you can forget about your money. But don't give up, it is great experience... First, try things that recommended above, but I think it won't help you... As I understand it, you forgot your identifier and password for a service you bought your coins from, so that is your fault. But don't these services offer something to recover those credentials? Have you tried checking your emails and see whether you can get something out of it?
