(not including the password you set in June)... or have you always had different passwords on each? Time to change my email password :-) Just want to rule out the possibility of a recent hack/leak and trying to determine if there is a possibility your e-mail account itself was compromised, due to the 2015 hack. My thought being that someone has cracked your password from before 2015. Assuming the e-mail & forum account had the same password <2015, and you have kept your e-mail password the same, the password could be used to get into your e-mail and utilize the reset link. Bitcointalk and my secondary email address was low level priority. I have never used them for money purposes. Just to stay anonymous. Weak passwords (9-12 chars is not so weak), but did not give them too much attention. |
