Online payment for ETH or LTC

When it comes to online payment I'll go for ETH, it's the next preferred coin by most of the traders and merchants.

Note: You should move this topic to altcoin discussion since both are altcoins.

Most of the wallet provider accepts the bitcoin, ethereum and litcoin in all the wallet. So payment can be done with the any of the coin according to the receiver end possible payment option. As of now bitcoin also does not reached big to the retailers, online purchase and service stores.
In the mentioned option in your post. We can go with ethereum because this is more popular than the LTC.

No comparison, they are good for all the traders that wants to divest their investment. Many prefers to do ETH transactions when bitcoin network is on congestion.

I have some ETH on hold and also Litecoin, ETH is being supported by most of the traders while Litecoin is supported by the Chinese miners and traders.

Ethereum is very popular since it is #2 on the coinmarketcap and that's why many do prefer to have trades with ETH.

ETH is better and developer by genies developers so that i use it and i put 50% of my extra money in Bitcoin and 30% in ETH

In my opinion I haven't found Eth and Ltc being accepted as payment. Bitcoin is the one that has got acceptance as payment around the globe on several marketplace. Recently when the Eth price pumped, it got accepted as payment in some dark marketplace. So, Eth and Ltc as online payment at present is very low, might count in the future.

In my opinion ether is better for online payments than LTC.
Ether is far more adopted than litecoin. And additionally your funds are faster credited, on average.
I, personally don't hold LTC. I am using ether for payments whenever btc doesn't suits due to network congestion, etc..
But there are no points which would speak against the use of litecoin for payments. Its personal preference.

I will choose ETH, because I think more users will hold ETH than LTC. So if making online payments using crypto will be easier if the coin has a lot of devotees, it is just a strategy to make it easier.

Everyone can use  online payments using ETH or LTC  its up to us what is better  and easier so before we decide to choose we have to make a research for this .

I would choose ETH without a shadow of doubt. Its no 2, its got more users than LTC...

When it comes to faster transactions I commend ETH for that, I don't use LTC for payments or transactions. I only use it for trading and selling it for bitcoin/ETH. There are more users for ETH though I don't have stats and proof of it also with LTC. They are good for holding but for online payment I'll go and stay with Ethereum. Wait this is not a bitcoin related thing for marketplace, move this to altcoin discussion.

I don't know if it worth it or not to choose one of them to be the best online payment nowadays. However bringing cryptocurrencies to online payment transaction is a great idea to the new economy. But we have to realize that cryptocurrencies is not familiar to anyone in the world.
Eth and ltc are fast, and of course I love to purchase something from the internet with those currency. For now, only bitcoin that may have massive concern in real life.

Eth for me is much more better than LTC, ETH already mark it's name in the industry and it's much more reliable than LTC, although ETH is an innovation we can really see it's potential that it's gonna be one of the best alt in the future.

Ethereum > Litecoin. It's got more support and a bigger user base as well. Also, I'd say that people accept Ethereum much more than Litecoin in general; more people hold etherum than they do litecoin. For example, recently I ran into the Enjincoin ico project, and I was surprised that they weren't even accepting Bitcoin -- only Ethereum. Struck me as odd at first, but it seems like Eth is a very preferred altcoin.

ETH is absolutely better than LTC for sure. Smart contracts are the best.

ETH has a lot of better features, smart contract, faster and cheaper fees. When I'm sending big sums of ETH, I only have to pay a very small portion of ETH just for the GAS.

I'm no fan of LTC but this is also a coin that has the potential and one of the popular alt coins when you are sick of expensive fees but this coin is quite underrated. But since we are talking about online payment, ETH will be the most preferred.

Exactly, Eth is good when it comes to online payment rather than Ltc. Because Eth is popular coin or altcoin and it's number 2 in the market so Eth is good as a payment.

Yeah all features are better than LTC for sure so why would you are using LTC for ?

to build the particular sites i think whatever the payment method would you use then you should have an unique idea to attract people more interesting use your service because if you don't have it then ETH or LTC will not went well because eventually your sites will be lack of interest and if we compare from those altcoin then ETH is the best as you can see currently there are so many project which based on ETH technology and if you have the particular bussiness service which is accept ETH as the payment method then i think possibly people will starting use your service

Ethereum and LTC are both suitable. But if I had to choose, I would choose the LTC. But there are many features of Ethereum. I do not choose.

I choose Ethereum because it has a wide audience while the LTC is good and stable but hasnt hyped for a while.

ETH wallet is more useful and better

I'm team Ethereum as well. Other than being a currency it can do so much more in the future, that's why i'd rather back it than Litecoin. Also i'm not very fond of the people behind LTC and the way they have been marketing themselves.

I'm with the ETH people. The fees are better, the devs are better and it's less volatile.

Litecoin is built especially as a cryptocurrency, was the first to conduct SegWit, is quick, cheap and has wide support. It also has already safely done atomic swaps presenting the ability of Lightning Network. Decentralized.

Ethereum is a cryptocurrency second, but first an ecosystem for dapps and smart contracts. It has also scaled but is not as cheap as LTC. It seems to be vulnerable to hacks and has been hard forked to reverse losses. Centralized leadership and development.

Litecoin wins my vote here.
