What is the current state of BCH after the humongous pump it had. ?? Opinions

the big boy BTC will stay that is for sure. and is getting strong. it was not badly effected after the BCH rush. one thing for certain is that BCH was a bubble and the prove is that massive drop right after the climb. heck transactions were very slow some jumped in when it was low by the time the transaction got it was too late. the exchanges that performed faster made their users richer.

All coins have pumps and dumps. Many "investors" in the crypto space are newbies and get caught in the middle of them. In my opinion real millionaires have been made by holding (for instance Bitcoin), not by trading it.

It is obvious that in life there are up and down and bitcoin cash also experience fluctuations even as other commodities do.Many investors gain during pump up and some also loss when bitcoin is down and this situations is part of business.

Bitcoin Cash has a huge capitalization and has famous promoteres like Roger Ver, Jihan Vu so sometimes pump and dump will be but when it be you'll never know  :-[

Bitcoin cash price has surpassed $1000 which shows a positive sign, the main reason for the increase in the value of bitcoin cash is due to the cancelling of the two hard forks which was supposed to happen by October bitcoin Gold and Segwit 2x by November, which made the value of bitcoin cash to shoot the price as more user's got into the bitcoin cash that lead to the rise in price of bitcoin cash and there was a slight dip in the bitcoin when the price of bitcoin increased, now the current price of bitcoin has surpassed $7000 which means it is recovering from the slight variation.

Now the bitcoin cash price is gradually decreasing it is around $ 1000,the price bump of bitcoin cash is man made by the bigwhales now they earned lot of money but the investors of bitcoin cash maybe lose their investment by the price fall.But i hope the bitcoincash having potential to go upto big prices in future.

Anyway, NOBODY from institutional investor from Wall Street  knows about existing  altcoins. Only BITCOIN will be recognize for their business.

Next year will be BITCOIN year.

I think the reason behind the sudden pump in bitcoin cash value is due to cancellation of the two expected fork and as long as no alt will be introduce by the fork to divert the bitcoin market BCH will continue to grow. Right now market of bitcoin cash increases and I think this will continue to pump and make a great investment return.

Another milestone is comping. Down under 1000$ again soon.  :D

Many exchanges actually crashed or didn't allow trading on BCH for some time when the price of the coin was going up.


I do not think trading doesn't make one a millionaire, infact people who got into it earlier or people who having been trading recently are the ones who made big.

My biggest fear with these huge pumps and dumps is, how badly Siacoin seen the floor, i'm scared if BCH will also loose its sheen.

That BCH rush was very pathetic, I mean there was no reson for BCH to grow that much, normally. They pumped it on the exchanges by manipulating the price with their tweets (you know who I'm talking about). Then it will lose much more value from its current price. The normal price for BCH should be around $300-400.

Opinions on Bitcoin Cash ? Why ??
It's literally as any other altcoin in the market but just happens to include the word "bitcoin" in its name.
In fact, it's actually much worse. What do you expect from a coin that has just too much hype for literally nothing at all ? It sucks in every way.

The sole and only reason why it got pumped so much was them trying to get BCH some attention. When the cancellation of s2x was announced, they used this news for their benefit as people who wanted b2x would still have an intention to go against btc in any way. So they pumped it so hard. And that's it. The end. Nothing more. I don't see anyone who changed his mind about bitcoins or even thinks about it.

In the best scenario, it will be treated as altcoins. Sold hard and dumped when btc is on the rise and pumped when btc goes down.
But have its own future, value or whatever ? Not gonna happen.

it will continue to go down for sure. as we all know that's what happens after a pump and dump process. however, it will still be used as a hedge against bitcoin in the future.

Yeah it got a high pump. I never saw such a big pump in my life. It went straight upto 0.5 BTC in no time and then 30 mins it was back dumped to 0.2 BTC. Currently it is hovering between 0.2 to 0.3 btc but i can smell that players will soon again pump and dump it and will make good profits again. If you want to make profits with them, we should see the market trends very closely.

It will stay alive for a long time, but there is no way to became no1 crypto.

However i was pretty sad, that how many greedy people still out there...  There is not too much people who trust in a particular coin, most of the people chasing instant profit...

I fully disagree with you. I don't see the basic fundamentals for bitcoin cash to keep growing in price. The wave started as a pump wave and it's likely to end soon.

agree BCH will never be number 1 but I'm sure the pump and dump will come again soon. There is so much manipulation going on in that right now. People chasing this are going to lose everything. It's crazy.

Well, that's why some people really do not want to hold BCH, maybe one of the factors they know that in the BCH trade are a lot of cunning people, so let them get stuck in the BCH game environment in the future.

The thing is bitcoin cash has massive support by people in China from what I heard. Bitcoin cash will be getting more and more support as it was the only successful fork of bitcoin, so now what people think is that bitcoin cash has become trustworthy now and it is definitely worth investing. Bitcoin cash is easier to mine and also there are many more rumors spread across which also played a part in the pump, not to forget the whales and the initial supporters bitmain and the miner's tool antminer which gives amazing profit to them.

BITMAIN is one the reason I have some faith that the price would increase, as Jihan Wu is supporting it. Definitely it wouldn't surpass the biggest names in the crypto space but it surely would come back with another pump.

Bitcoin cash is something that is more likely to fall or fail badly sooner or later. So many things about it just doesn't make sense or add up. And i am talking about fundamentals here.
Since the very beginning i already saw this. Which is why i never even bothered getting my share of bitcoin cash in my btc holdings. Since i do not wamt to support it. Same goes to bitcoin gold which is worse than bitcoin cash in my opinion.
But hey, we all see things differently, so i respect your stand about this. Just wanted to share mine.

bitcoin cash is another blockchain that will evolve by changing some of the consensus rules found in the bitcoin blockchain. The most important consensus that bitcoin cash has changed is that the blocks are 8 mb in size. With the increasing awareness of BitCoin, more people became bitcoin owners. the number of transactions to be acknowledged within 10 minutes has increased and the block capacity of 1 mb has begun to be insufficient. As a result, transfer fees, transaction approval times increased. BitCoin Cash claims that these problems can be solved by increasing the block capacity to 8 MB. the change of the difficulty level determination process will not change the life of an ordinary bitcoin owner.

Both bitcoin chains will survive, wit Bitcoin (Core) being in the lead for atleast the foreseeable future. Bitcoin (Cash) will have it's use but it doesn't have the adoption levels that the older Bitcoin has. I hope both can survive and thrive without too much political fighting and trying to kill the other off.

BCH have support from ven and others who will use them BTC to make it more than normal altcoin .

till they prove they can do but future only can answer about real value of bitcoin .

Probably yes. And what we do see these days again? Bitcoin Cash has been growing again, and very, very fast. Probably many of us were mistaken to call this cryptocurrency the next bubble or even a scam?

Many crypto currencies which have been called in past as scam have been doing good too. Atleast for time being.

And those which had lot of hopes upon have reached rock bottom.

So its always a better idea to diversify your investments.

At some point BTC will run out of steam and have a major correction (50%+). At that point BCH will boom and it will be difficult for BTC to recover.

As it seems to be Bitcoin Cash will be traded within the limits of $1400 - $1600 or even less. In my personal opinion now its current price is too high. However, as I see it, it will slowly go down.

Im not sure still with the bitcoin cash future. Because there are many coins that has pump and dump, yet bitcoin cash may up or it may continues to fall down. Ill observe with this moves of bitcoin cash.

In my opinion, it will go on falling, because its price is higher than it must be. Probably Asian market will do a lot to keep its price high, but no pump will happen again. Suppose it will cost soon under $1200 or even under $1000.

I have a special story with BCH, as soon as I enter it, it starts to fall, as soon as I go out, it grows). But I think that in the future this will be one of the main currencies for calculation in the consumer sector.

Right now BITCOIN CASH is only entering the phase, where a comeback is expected, but no matter how much Roger Ver is posting about it in Twitter, there is no movement in the coin price.

it probably will not go up drastically but if the falling issue does not seem to be for now.
