Title: Could you watch a movie for every day of the year? Post by: smiths8 on June 23, 2013, 10:31:54 AM Could you watch a different movie for every day of the year? Has anyone ever tried this? So of course it would be 365 movies

Title: Re: Could you watch a movie for every day of the year? Post by: Foxpup on June 23, 2013, 12:35:19 PM That's easy. But watching a good movie for every day of the year is less easy, though it would be more bearable.

If so, I'm going on three years straight. Is their a record for this type of activity? Can provide logs. NOT THAT LOG! Commuter logs. Geez!
I'm sure they qualify, for they have everything a regular movie has: plot, theme, characters, suspense, and...wait for it...climax, everybody's favorite. Title: Re: Could you watch a movie for every day of the year? Post by: FirstAscent on June 23, 2013, 03:56:09 PM I have about 500 movies on my watch list. I don't need to watch a movie everyday nor do I necessarily want to. And many of my favorite movies are worth watching over and over. For example, as another mentioned in this article (http://www.bfi.org.uk/news/ozu-yasujiro-master-time), the films of Yasujiro Ozu can be watched over and over with undiminished pleasure.
I just watched 2046 (http://mubi.com/films/-2046) for the second time this week, and about the 6th time overall. So, it's all a matter of looking both abroad and back in history to find a long list of films to keep a steady stream of quality viewing available to you. |
