Is there an online wallet for LTC that is considered safer than BTCe's wallet? there is no real safety with online-wallets or deposited coins at an exchange please give yourself the time to store the coins at your own pc/client(s) and don't forget to encrypt your wallet(s) the LTC-blockchain is "only" ~ 1 GB of data - BTC is much bigger with ~ 9 GB Title: Re: How can I buy LTC? You'll need the entire blockchain to send and receive LTC in an up-to-date manner. You might want to read up on how the blockchain works for multiple crypto currencies (BTC, LTC, etc).
