Title: Max miners per worker per pool?
Post by: boozer on June 23, 2013, 03:09:14 PM
I saw in an older thread that Deepbit had a limit of 20 miners per worker account.... Is the max number of miners per worker account different for every pool?  Or is there a default/standard that is normally used?

I have ~13 rigs and ~85 gpus so managing worker accounts per rig across different alt coins is cumbersome... so I was just curious what the "standard" for max workers per miner is (or if it exists).

No limit on BitMinter. Run all your machines as one worker if you wish.

Thanks Doc!  I doubt my GPU's will return to your pool unless BTC becomes the most profitable GPU coin... and even if it does, your pool was the first pool I joined and stuck with when I started 18 months ago, so I have created workers for each rig already on BitMinter:)  However, my singles will be on your pool.... if I ever get them :-P

I assume I'll just have to test it on the other pools and see what happens...  Seems it shouldnt be much of a problem from random threads i have read.
