Title: Creating website that can mine
Post by: yEzas on November 16, 2017, 08:47:22 PM
Hello all, first time poster here. Little enthusiast of all the cryptocurrencies. So we with couple of friends want to make a website where you connect and lend your computer power to mine crypto, there are couple of websites I encountered. But not many. So we have an access to school computers, about 50 of them, it's a project of ours and IT teacher, totally legit :) if you ask. But we encountered some issues. I know one site: Coinhive, that gives you the script, if you can call it that. And you can inplement to your site, but the hash/s is way to slow max 15h/s on cpu.
Here are couple questions maybe you will have the answer to them:
  • 1. Is there a script somewhere in the internet, that can be put on the website, which will do the following. user connects, press start and the mining begins, but there would be options to use cpu and gpu or both and pick how much % of the power the site can use.
  • 2. How to make your own pool, for example Monero (XMR), and that all the power would go to that one pool and all the XMR mined to one wallet ?
  • 3. How to add option for an admin to see how much different accounts mine ?

That's maybe it, for now. It sounds dumb, but we like to do that :)

Post in the altcoin areas where this belongs to get help.
This area is BITCOIN only and that cannot be mined on PC's unless it is just an academic exercise. Costs far more to run than any income you *might* receive. The BTC world left CPU/GPU mining behind in the dust years ago.
