So as we all know bitcoin is hitting an all time high. But More thinking how high will this go before it takes a crash?

I'm thinking it may get to 9k - 10k and then drop right down to 7k afterwards.

Your thoughts?

I think it will go beyond $9K, but will not reach $10K, then a correction might hit it and go back to $8K or $7K as you have said. If it stays at $9K, I think that will be better because just after some couple of weeks, we will be staying at $10K.

That would be the best case scenario. If it sky rockets to high to fast then we all know there will be a heavy crash to follow

It will go higher than $10000, it is not now staying at the price close to $8000 next month, it will be staying at $9000. But I think there will be always a correction as other said but we all know how strong the users of bitcoin so it will be at $10000.

I think bitcoin price will go around 10K to 11K since Christmas is coming closer and closer. And I think last Christmas bitcoin price also goes high, so for me same will happen this year.  :)

It will surges 10K$ above by next month, and as long the demand of bitcoin rise up, for the next next years, The value will continues to grow and grow.  ;)

We must believe that it will reach to its highest peak,who would have known bitcoin positively recover for a short period of time,this entire week seems a roller coaster ride for all of us who is in the bitcoin world,so we must crossed our finger for the incoming christmas season.
Hopefully this would be a great gift for everyone who truly believe that bitcoin could change someones life.

When it rises high like this very rapidly there is always a crash that is bound to happen.
Because with over $1000 ($6750-$8000) in the past 48 hours is not healthy growth to any financial market.

from what I read there is still a possibility that segwit2x can happen today.

Bitcoin can hit $10k at any moment from now and i believe correction will really happen but it will not last longer, so if you are planning to get more bitcoin you still have the chance to make money since the price right might still cheap for the future.

We are very happy because Bitcoin reached another all time high price but we can never tell how high it can go or if this will be just for temporary. We only need to hope and believe that Bitcoin pump will continue until the end of this year so that most of the Bitcoin investors will have a merry Christmas. According to speculations, it might reach $10k at the end of this year.

I agree with 9000 to 10000, maybe also 11K or 12K.

But if we only drop to 7000, that will be a similar drop like a week ago (7900 -> 5500) and will be eaten by the bulls. If we really see a high now, then we will drop at least to 5K, if not 3K or even lower. And it won't be overnight, but in several waves.

We'll know we have a new high that will persist some time (e.g. a couple of months) when we see a dead cat bounce after more than 3-4 weeks that doesn't convert into a new bullish leg, but instead results in a lower low. Only then, hope will slowly go away and be replaced by fear and panic, and Bitcoin finally can consolidate.

Support at 7.5+ right now. It could go upto 9. Tempting for day traders.

It will go higher then $10,000 before the year is up

Already $8000! Bitcoin is either taking off or a bubble is going to pop. It could also be some manipulation of the price as we’re seeing a huge drop in the price of Bitcoin Cash. Not sure what to make of that. It’s possible that whales just pumped Bitcoin Cash and dumped it. Either way it looks like price manipulation.

Hopefully this is a true gain for Bitcoin and it can get to $10,000 sometime in the first half of next year. I could see the price leveling off some though after these big gains in 2017.

finally we are on the right track to see the highest price of bitcoin this year and i think soon the price will increase more higher and not take too long. i think maybe we can see $9000 and even $10,000 this year if there is nothing bad news or something bad that might be happen in this two month so it will not affect with bitcoin price to still increase more. just make sure that we are gonna see the price is increase and don't forget to take a part with the party.

It will go beyond 10k or maybe 12k. Then correction will take place and come down to 5K to 6K.

There is now a good possibility that Bitcoin can be able to reach $10,000 before the year ends but of course there are expected small corrections along the way. Now, if this is the case, we can be expecting Bitcoin to make more headway next year as many are expecting the CME's futures market to be operating by then and maybe there would be some more ETF applications and hopefully the SEC might approve based on the success of the futures. There can also be opening up of new markets.

Right now, we are seeing Bitcoin in a big revenge after being sluggish for the past weeks due to many challenges still present and by the supposed attack by people supporting BitcoinCash. Now, it is time for BitcoinCash to retreat and many BCH holders are unloading their hoard as its price is going down -- it is time for BCH to be the victim of its own making.

As of now maybe 10k until end of this year. We dont know yet because there is a rumor that there will be a hard fork this coming december

It takes high more than what you are expected. It is also just because of its popularity now and many people are catch up their attention on Bitcoin so that they are trying to enter the world of Bitcoin. When Someone invest money here it will rise the supply because of the demand that is rises.

It has a tendency that it will go up to $10k. But it has to fall down up to $6k or $5k. We cannot tell if it can stay or maintain its value price because christmas season is coming. So i guess its price can be remained.

bitcoin has dropped days ago, this fluctuation will never end, bitcoin price is rising again and nearly reach 8000$, if this trend keep rising just like this, bitcoin can reach 10000$ at the end of this year, and 20000$ in few years, i dont think that easy but i just put my trust on bitcoin rising.

I have mixed feeling about December. It depends on if CME is actually able to go live. It sounds like they have it all set with the bumpers and everything they have set up, but I won't profess to knowing a thing about how futures trading works.
I'd hope it would make it into the $9kish range and stay steady with less swings. The swings don't bother me, really, as I am going to hodl regardless.
The swings do matter to the mainstream people, though. As well us some of the newer folks.

Bitcoin hit again it's all-time high price. The market value of Bitcoin may hit $8k to $9k next month, I think it'll range from $7.5k to $8.5k this month. In my opinion, it will not hit $10k this year, but I'm hoping it will. But it'll surely surge $10k soon, so we just HODL ang believe in Bitcoin, we'll see each other on the moon soon :D

Bitcoin could go as high as $10,000 but I am thinking it will right now hover around $8000 for a few months until next year then increase its price to $12,000 dollars in the beginning of the year.  It has trended to increase its value substantially and then fall down a thousand dollars and then increase it again substantially.  It is an upward rollercoaster with the value of bitcoin.

A good speculation but nothing to back it up. That is the problem.

We dont know that is why many of us are just holding it.

Bitcoin just hit $8,000. I think it will go to $10,000 by the end of the year due to futures trading via CME.

I think it will go beyond 9k and between 9-11k but eventually it will come back down to where it is now.

Bitcoin value is very unpredictable right now last day it was dump below 6000$ and now it pumps for another day at almost reaching 8000$ . Good thing is i risk to buy bitcoin at 6000$ price. 10k $ per bitcoin before the year end is possible. Lets see!

To be honest,, I don’t know neither anyone will know because everyone on reply will have an answers from speculative opinions that might hit the numbers without knowing,, that if it will or will not happen in a 100% of the time.. But because it is a discussion of man/woman with either both optimistic and negative thinker,, I will make my opinion counted to be in.. One month more to go and December is a good day to end it,, 8500$ at this point of time is highly possible..

it is going up like crazy, i dont know how much it will go up, but we have already touched eight thousand dollars, i just see it on coinmarketcap. We have already touched it, and it means that a lot of people will start to dump their coins because the price has already touched more than 8k.
but honestly, i think that the price will go atleast to 8,2k by tomorrow, just think about it, everytime that bitcoin pass across to a new thousand, the price suddenly goes up by a few hundreds more, just like it happened on the 5k, 6k, and 7k.

All the speculation is possible, even more than that for the coming year. Hardfork will happen in the near future and prices can be high.  I think at the end of this year may be hit 1$10k and crash not far from the price of $8k.

It will go between $9k and $10k. But if it wasn't for the declined fork, it will go as high as between $10k to $11k. In addition to the declined fork, there are some factors that delayed the bitcoins growth. But if it reached the predicted price it doesn't mean that it will not fluctuate.

but that's only around 15% gains in 2 days, this is not quite strange in cryptocurrency, but yes there is always (almost) correction after a massive hit, but 15% increase doesn't seem a massive hit. If BTC goes to 9-10k, very likely a correction may occur.

My gut feeling says it will hit almost 9k, and then will have a pull back up to 7.5-8k, but in cryptocurrency, we cannot be so sure.

I was started my journey with bitcoin when it was in only 900$. Now it has broken all the step and going on a high. I just watched too many videos in youtube about bitcoin analysis.  Actually bitcoin is unstoppable. It is going up and will be. No one can controll bitcoin. You are thinking about 10 k but I think it will go so more as it acted so far.

Bitcoin will pump at least 10,000USD. It was just a guess but aiming and hoping that it will become true.

For now we don't know how high bitcoin will rise or pump but we can sure that bitcoin most of the time will pump and pum until it reaches new set of value. Bitcoin will not stay only in a certain value bur it will dump today but will pump doubled,tripled or quadrupled in next day.

No where to go but in the moon! Bitcoin will skyrocket again so expect turn out of events and hold on tight to your sits. We can speculate that we can close this year by $10000 and just have some correction but definitely will go uptrend until next year.
The bear trap has ended as so the rally will continue and I just felt sorry for the one's who sold their bitcoin recently in exchange of bch and for not trusting and believing that bitcoin is the king.

Bitcoin reaches $8000 too quickly, I doubt it is pumped by whales and sharks. You should not invest now, it will drop soon.

At the moment price is very close to $8k anytime soon it break another ATH Im very much sure that it may reach up to $10k until the end of the year 2017, Im very excited if this happen.   ;D

It was very happy to see this .The price of bitcoin is keeps on increasing day to day. Yesterday was 7500$ and now it's 7938$.Very closures to 8k $ peak.If it touch that leak means, it will aim for the peak of 9000$ .I think at this year end the price will reach the value of 9k $.I had invested in bitcoin and waiting that to happen.

10k will be a milestone is not difficult to predict the bitcoin. As capital flows into bitcoin. More and more investors are interested in bitcoin. But when bitcoin reaches 10k. Surely it will not drop to 7k. That is my opinion

My thoughts are somehow close with yours. I also think that it will be able to reach a value of 10000$ and it would probably play a game of pump and dump with that value. But I don't think that it will drop to 7000$ but will rather stay on a value of 10000$. But if there'll be dumps, I believe that it will increase for a long run so the best thing is to hold and invest more.

1 BTC = $10,000.00

10 BTC = $100,000.00

100 BTC = $1,000,000.00

anyway.....at 10k a BTC ..hell, I may crack like an egg and sell and retire!

the price could go into anywhere as we don't know until how much the price will be increase but as long as we can buy and sell in the right time, i am sure that we can make profit. in this november, i think the price will be increase at $8,500 and it will be too many correction price before its increase more but in december, i think the price will be the highest price for this year. so i think this time, we can make a lot of profit from trading bitcoin and don't forget to analyze the price before you buy.

I am expecting higher in bitcoin value before this year will end i think closer to $10000 would be the value of bitcoin that is why we should keep getting bitcoin in multiple earning method to collect huge amount of bitcoin to make 2017 will be memorable to us.
Me and my wife are earning together we have goal of how many bitcoin we should keep in each wallet we have and we are planning to add to our fund for building our new house that is why i am believing that bitcoin value will go high more and hit my expectation.

Before new year 9000$, next rise to 10K first Q 2018 and second Q2018 we can see 12K-15K is the best optimistic way. This year was phenomenal for Bitcoin in terms of value and for the community, with better exposure and support in more countries. I am disappointed witch China, good it didn't affect price in long-term.

No doubt Bitcoin was one of best investment this year so far. Looking forward what Bitcoin will achieve in 2018.

That's my thought also, i think when this 2017 end that's the time for the value of bitcoin reach up to $10k because if you can see, specially nowadays the bitcoin continue to grow for his value, so it's not posible to reach that amount. And that's my own opinion.

$10k by the end of the year but bitcoin has such a huge network effect everyone will have FOMO so will keep buying. The greatest invention since the dawn of time. BTC is unstoppable. Bcash was a scary event, if BTC can withstand an attack like that and still bounce back, what does it say about the resilience of this amazing technology.

The only thing I fear that could stop BTC is if all countries came together to ban BTC.

There should always be a correction at some point. Can't really say for now where it is going to meet the next resistance before traders start taking profit, but the way it is there is every possibility it climbs above $8000 a bit before a little correction and then we see another bullish formation. However, who knows? Can't keep getting from being surprised with bitcoin's movement.

Bitcoin price has surpassed $15K on several exchanges, even though it's around $13,600 across the global exchanges.
Bitcoin may get corrected at some points, but it will always rebound and reach a new ATH.
All I can say, bitcoin worth more than $50,000 or $100,000 due to mass adoption is coming to the market.
It just time matter and how long you can wait for bitcoin reaches a higher price.

New prediction:  $25,000 by Jan.1

It is possible to hit $25k by january. Also many users predictions into $25k by january with this people are into adopts of bitcoin. Im expecting bitcoin will go high more than the current price these days.

I think it is likely to jump high bitcoin increase at the end of this year could reach above 10k because at Christmas time and new year's always there is a price increase will surely soar up to 11k if it proves we can become a millionaire hopefully achieved hope I

In the year end i think value of bitcoin reach more than 20k$  we have 13 days left many things will happen in crypto currency world even just an hour value will change but still i believed that bitcoin will make me rich in the future what ever its value i am continue to collect and hold for long period of time. I saving it for the future of my family specially for my kids.

I think bitcoin increase $50000 in next year

I have a "feeling" that if Bitcoin breaks the $20.000 barrier definitively, then we'll go until $26666.

Why?
- Because in the first 2013 bubble we saw 266$ at MtGox.
- And because there's some strange preference among some traders for all numbers related with 66 or 666. I have seen many bots buying or selling just at these levels, where there was no other explanation (Fibonacci etc.). I don't know if they're black metal fans, or kiddies. ;) But at 333-related prices I haven't observed that behavior.

9k and 10k have been surpassed. No one knows how much bitcoin price will take in the future as long as everyone still acknowledges bitcoin it will keep on growing

Bitcoin is ever growing, it will continue to rise and even hit beyond the 10000$ mark. As long as there is high demand in the market bitcoin price wont stop instead continue to grow. Dropping in price is normal because its volatile feature, but one thing ia for sure it will once again regain and pump its value. And that happened in the months where bitcoin showed tremendous growth.

from my experience in bitcoin for three or four  I think that's the price of bitcoin no one should estimate how much it will be high to go . From my views the price of bitcoin will never stop it always fluctuate either it may increase or decrease but it never  fixed because it depends on the market value of the bitcoin and the demand of the people which affect the price of bitcoin . I think the highest price of bitcoin will be approx $35000.
