Looks a lot more promising now when priced at 1 BTC.

This price drop is really good compared to there last price of 2BTC, we should create a group buy from INDIA and order some devices.

A 7850 gives out about 400 Mhash/s and costs approx 14K INR.
at 1 BTC, this is a 6K purchase for 300 Mhash/s.

300 Mhash/s gives about 0.2BTC a month, so expect a 5 - 8 month time frame to recover 1 BTC.
This is a very good proposition for those who want to buy more than 1.

The Bangalore Bitcoin meetup group has collected quite a bit for a group buy, although for KNC, BFL, other purchases. But do check with them if this interests them.

Some of the group buys are happening in USA. Let me know if anyone wants some. I can buy and ship it. (again if there are not enough members for groups buys in India.!

You are correct to some extent. You can mine all SHA256 coins on the USB Block erupters but not scrypt based coins.

At 333Mhs, you will be able to mine 1 BTC is no less than 6 months. That is if diff remains constant, which it won't.

So buying this USBs are worthless imo, you won't see your 1 BTC for another year atleast.

That's true and bitcoins difficulty level is going high too, however you can mine other SHA-256 based coins like Terracoin,PPcoin,Freicoin.

teracoin seems to stay. it survived ASIC bombing and has stable exchange price and why not mine on that USB miners terra for future, who knows what it may cost. I'm getting few miners soon, definitely will mine terra.

Yes. They reduced it to 0.6 BTC and if you have brought any recently paying 1 BTC, you will get a second ne (if interested) for only 0.1 btc.
The new pricing is not on sale yet, but will be soon.

There might be some group buys in India but if there is enough interest, then i can start one. I live in USA and i can get it faster than others and probably bulk ship it to India once a week or so.

Yes. With the new pricing, i see them ROI in 90 days even with 20% increase every cycle.
Am planning to get a few myself. But i have so many hardware (3 * 25 GH/s bitfury + few H-Boards, 7 GH/s BFL) already ordered, am just giving it a second thought.

I will buy those whistles any time, from breakfast till diner. Reason is very simple even when diff will reach 70mils (soon) it will be easy to sale them, 2 months from now or even 4 months too. it is 100% difficulty increase resistant device, because does no matter what difficulty will be you still will be able to sale it. Nothing like that on market. And as usual only ASICminer ship actual orders.

The ROI is 124 days minimum!  Probably more like 150 - 160 days ......because you cant keep it up 24/7. Unless I am missing something.

You are about right or probably it is little less. You have not put in the proper details when computing ROI.
Also note that, you can mine any other SHA-256 currency using USB BE's. It neednot be bitcoin. Even though all other bitcoins are priced based on BTC, you can still be mining using these USB's 1 year from now. So it is not always profitable to mine btc. There are other coins which are slightly more profitable than btc.

Also, why cant you keep them running 24/7..?

ASICMINER hardwares are more superior and you can run them 24/7.

I know people who are running their hardware for weeks. I have a couple myself and i don't remember switching them off last time. For me it is more of 100% uptime setup.

I recently ( a few hours ago) discovered that I can mine other coins and change it back to Bitcoins in BTC-e or Crypt and make more profit.  But it seems that most of those profitable crypto currencies are scrypt based and Terracoin (the only other SHA 256 based currency I saw)  is less profitable than BTC atm.

But I see what you are getting at though - things change and BTC itself  looks bullish and it may reach  $200 - $250 very soon.

PPcoin is another coin which is slightly profitable than btc. Terracoin was profitable than btc but recently it was under 51% network attack and time wrap attack. Hence it is recouping slowly.

Have a look at coinchoose.com and decide. Note that these change often.
