Title: What is your Bitcoin Sell price?
Post by: andydis on November 17, 2017, 12:43:53 PM
After reading an article this morning on coindesk

https://www.coindesk.com/survey-plurality-of-bitcoin-users-think-it-can-change-world/ (https://www.coindesk.com/survey-plurality-of-bitcoin-users-think-it-can-change-world/)

it got me thinking .........

Here is an interesting question.

Regardless of how many bitcoins you own (0.001 or 500) , what price would bitcoin have to hit in order for you to sell? or make you sell?

For the moment I would hold. Bitcoin has a high potential and will keep the uptrend for the next years t o come. So, best thing to do is to hold and whenever possible get some more. Next year the price will reach 15 to 20K, holding for a few more years could result in a much higher price.

i think the best investment in cryptocurrency is holding bitcoin as long term , Bitcoin could pass $100,000 by February 2021; a Harvard academic has said announcing Bitcoin is the first digital currency to follow Moore’s Law.

I dont know, i was looking to sell all my bitcoins at $10,000, but now i am wondering myself if i should or if i should not.

It is pretty tentative to dump all my bitcoins now that that price is approaching, but i still want to keep holding for a while, it is like an addiction, i would not stop until the price touches $15,000.

Maybe i am crazy, i dont know, but i am a little bit afraid of losing my funds, but i am afraid of lossing a bigger opportunity too, i dont know what to do.

Maybe i should try to wait until we touch $15,000? what do you think guys? what would you do if you were in my shoes?

Well, if I had a lot of Bitcoins I can guarantee you that I would be selling them right now. I know it goes against the "BUY AND HODL" theory, but if you think about it and do some research it is obvious that we are in a major bubble and holding seems like a way to just lose money when it eventually crashes, which is going to happen before the end of 2018, mark my words!

I voted with $75,000+ and this is applicable to most of my bitcoins that I hold. But it's inevitable when there are circumstances that I had to sell bitcoin when important events happened to my life.

Wow, it is interesting to see that most votes are for $75,000+, including mine. I think now that we are approaching $10,000, $75,000 does not seem so far fetched given a few more years. Indeed, John McAfee is betting for $500,000 in 3 years. :)

I understand your point, as each boom might have a bubble, that can pop at some point, but the main participants will remain. The dotcom bubble kicked a lot of unnecessary or scammy competitors out of the race and the internet is still here with all of the giants such as google, amazon, ebay and so on. This might be the case here, after a big price increase, the price will come down again and a lot of scammy and bad altcoins will fall into oblivion and only the legit coins will remain. But would this be a bad thing?

Furthermore, I do not get, why you want to sell know, if this is indeed a bubble. If so, the price will go vertical at some point and this is definitely the time to sell, as this means the end of the bubble phase. However, the price hasn't gone vertical yet, so there might still be room for a increase up to $25k to $100k+ depending on the analysis before the end of this bull run.

My Bitcoin sell price is $10,000. I think the price will not go much higher than $10,000 because the next plateau is $15,000 or $20,000 and that is simply too much money that needs to go into the market and is unlikely to happen given the extreme exponential increase this year. Smart money will not be coming into crypto right now because everyone knows we are in a massive bubble!

I would not sell my bitcoins for now, we are probably on a bubble, or probably not, it is upto all those speculators who are always trying to talk shit about bitcoin.

I am just going to hold as much as i can, if i see that bitcoin goes below $8000, i will cashout all my earnings because i made a huge profit, since i bought most part of my bitcoins when they were below $1500 and $1000.

Selling right now is just for cowards, we need to ignore all our emotions, bitcoin will always be going up because that is happening since 2016.

Instead of buying bitcoins, why dont you invest money to have a better English? It would be better for all of us who need to read this kind of crappy posts of people with a horrible english like you.

Will surely did the same thing, this is really an ideal price for me and I believe this can be happen any time in the coming years. Bitcoin is really awesome and offers a lifetime opportunity to grow and move forward, forget about bitcoin today just buy because in the future it really matters.

the price of the bitcoin currency is so fantastic that it's getting soaring up the moon, I think I'll save for a while longer until the price reaches $ 30000 when that price I can already feel the satisfaction of my investment returns.

I may never sell my BTC for USD..

Maybe I can spend them along the way traveling north and south America in my tour bus some day, just enough to keep my rig running down the road and food and internet probably..

That sounds like a good scheme..

By time I a ready to do that my bitcoins might be worth enough to keep me going for the rest of my life and they will be known enough to be east to exchange for goods and services along the way..

Thinking about $500,000 so $75,000 is very possible to happen. It's a real lifetime opportunity to all of us and even there are struggles about hard forks and other misinformation coming from different financial professionals still bitcoin remained intact.

I have no definite sell price fir my Bitcoin. I know that the current price is very highand it might increase more in the future. My goal right now is to save more Bitcoin by investing it in different altcoins and ICOs. I don't care about the price because I know that someday, it will be worth more. We should be focus on how to accumulate Bitcoin not on its price.

As long as I have earned a lot and have huge profit.  I have save bitcoins for the future of my children and so if the times come my children needs money for their education maybe I sell some of my bitcoins. I guess bitcoins price four to 15 years from now is high enough for them.

I'm almost positive that as long as bitcoin shows some promise, I will never fully remove myself from it. It leaves me with the chance to still make an extra few bucks even if the price goes up and I already pulled out completely. My sell price would only come when bitcoin is starting to show no more promise; when I see no future in it. For now, there is more time until we get to that point.

If it hits 10K within this year, i'll definitely have to sell. It is just short term profit taking. I am not certain but I am expecting a correction or drop on price once it hits that level. So my plan is to take profit then buy back when it drops to a comfortable price. Maybe 8.5K and below is a good price to buy back.

Why to sell bitcoin? when bitcoin price is rising continuously, why one should think of selling it. Bitcoin has already crossed $9000 mark. Unless some extraordinary situation arise and all other sources of income become useless then and then only we will sell bitcoins. By studying current bitcoin movements crypto experts are predicting bitcoin rate, $10000 by end of December 2017 & $25000 in next five years. 1st target is almost achieved, will wait for the next one.

Bitcoin has a great potential and rise upto $100,000 within the next 10 years. Why to sell now at such cheap prices when we could sell it at those huge price. It is best to hold BTC until it reaches such highs. This is what everybody has been doing and this is why the price of Bitcoin has been rising all these days. Everybody wants it to hit $100,000 - $500,000 . When BTC hits this price we can see a huge dump in the market. Collect your BTC now and sell it just before $100000 to get a good profit.

The price fluctuates a lot and so do expectations. You can't be to sure how btc will be going.
10k were unimaginable about 7 yers ago. But now we are here. The same might happen with the 50k mark. But BTC obviously also could fall
extremely and people may be happy if it would rise to 1k again. For now.. i do not plan on selling my coins. I may do this when required.
But for now there is no specific price for me at which i would sell all of my btc.

I think i will hold the bitcoin as the price of a bitcoin has continued to rise overnight, passing $9,000 for the first time last morning. May be it can rise to $5,000 + lol
But if i need money in urgent some time, i will sell some. :P

Now bitcoin is almost hitting 10K and exchanges want to introduce bitcoin futures, maybe it is better to sell now. At first I thought it would be better to hodl for some time, but it could be a good idea to sell. Traders will try to stabilize the price, that will cause a drop to 5K. That would be the moment to buy again and keep them till next year march, when Bitcoin will be 15K.

Title: Re: What is your Bitcoin Sell price?
Post by: lucifochrome on November 28, 2017, 08:34:54 PM
Well for me, i don't actually have a bitcoin price where if it is reached i will sell all my bitcoin, what i do is to keep hodling, buy on the dips and hold, but from time to time i sell some, say for example i have 2 bitcoins, upon reaching 15K i will sell 1 bitcoin, then buy again on low, but sometimes if i see some minor corrections i take that as an opportunity and buy then sell right when i make some profit.

Bitcoin is a digital currency system and it rate was very high and rate was increased day by day ,today rate of bitcoin are $9914 at now and in this trading process are called selling and buying and in this the selling when rate was increased and high at that time we need to sell the bitcoin.

As for me I should have that goal of $10K to $15K in order that I can set my holding to that profitable price, but we could not predict the actual outcome in the future. Seemingly the situations of the price fluctuates in an unpredictable manner which we could not determine when will it be rising or falling. Somehow you would be able to speculate without any idea and you'll be surprised after all, because sometimes the price may pump at any situation that you cannot notice actually.
