My favorite currency among number of altcoins is Waves.  It is easy for mining, looks dynamic and stable. In November it started new rise. Wave platform is developing canals with high transaction capacity. Waves for me is quite reliable currency.

You can buy Ethereum, Litecoin, and Dogecoin. Those three are the most promising ICOs right now. But as far as I know, there's still a lot of projects that are growing.

I would suggest to buy Strat, Snt, waves, wings

I think that you have many choices for investment, but  the best for me are wab ( he is a digital token backed by safe products), and there is populous too.

I think ethereum is the best investment for holding but their are also some altcoins that good especially if it is started from ICOs because ICOs coin is a good start of invetment for long term holding especially also if it is limited coin or a successful ICO during their sales.

I would prefer Ethereum is best altcoin.

Sumokoin is the one of the best new coins, in my opinion it would be best long term investment considering these type of privacy coins' long term potency.

Important suggestion I can make be careful with some small unknown coins which are highly "recommended" on bitcointalk. Than its pure scam happens from time to time!
Make your own research thats the best you can do.

I don't think this would be the best time to invest in altcoins as there is a news in the market that Bitcoin is going to increase further more in price.
So investing in alts would be a risky thing now as increase in the price of BTC bleeds the alts and would deduct your capital amount.
If you have decided to invest in alts then some promising alts to invest in would be ETH, NEO, LTC, XMR etc...

In my opinion this Coins are simply to overcrowded to get any more serious gains!
Try to go with lower level coins so the increase can be substantial more than for example in BTC.

Doubling in BTC - 14k
Doubling in some tier 3 coin - no problem.

my advice is best to invest in coin ethereum. That's the safest step, because the price will not fall in the next few months.

I think it is a good time to buy some AVT, this coin has a very hot ICO process and it has been listed on bitfinex, what is more important, the price is about half of the ICO price.

in my opinion,steem is good. I suggest that you give it a try. Steem lets you earn steem dollars by writing.you write a blog and you will be paid, even though you do not have that much knowledge about most cryptocurrencies.It is also valuable, you get paid for writing unlike other sites, for example the ads on social media sites, you pay them for ads on your blogs. steem is good but it is undervalued,its price is around 1 us dollars only and has a peak of 4 us dollars.

Neo and eth are the best coins in the past. There is some good news about the anchor of the Chinese government that I think the anchor will soon reach high value in the near future.

I also want to buy some neo and gas because china took some decissions and they said only neo platforms are legally be opened in china for the ico projects and investment. Neo can be bigger than this in the future as expected.

You can try to invest some of your bitcoin into the new kind of the altcoin with very good team behind it just like crypterium. many people already invested in that project and very solid community behind it.

You should always look top 100 coins in the coinsmarketcap website after that you should select some 5-10 coin from top 100 and do some research about those coins. My suggestion for best altcoins are:- DeepOnion, Power, Ethereum and Dash.

Buy NEO. It is the best investment as it will be bigger like Ethereum.

I'm looking to increase a position in Ethereum right now. Price seems kinda high, so i'm waiting for the next dip. I would also suggest Vertcoin and OmiseGO, both seem very promising for 2018.

My coice for hodl are OMG, VERGE, ZEN, NEM + ETH and BTC of cource. Plus some new projects like Cindicator and Comsa.

I think that the decision should be entirely yours. If you want to play it safe and not gamble your bitcoins, then you should invest in large cap coins which are cheap now; for eg- waves, etc, eth or zcash. If you are ready to take a risk look at low cap coins such as opus, blackmoon crypto or msp.

I myself prefer ETH and waves, because this coin is good to invest.
and in my opinion the price will increase and increase.

I will suggest you to invest in ICO because if you will invest in altcoin then no one know that what will be the future of that coin and if you will invest in ICO then you will have chance to get the profit at the end of the ICO when they add the coin to any exchange and if the project owner start to work for the project then the price of it will increase more higher.

i suggest getting some really stable coins like ethereum, litecoin,and dash.Monero and Cardano also has high potential of rising to the moon.

Bitcoin is the most liquid coin of today. I love alts but it is clear that you will need to wait for long to get your profit from that and add to that how to know which alt will be on high demand in the future? there are tons of it in exchanger and new one are coming. My recommendation is to keep hold bitcoin cause of it is the best!

I'd like to pick Ethereum as the coin of the year since there is a lot of volume going on in that coin for large amounts of things.

The most common coins are Dash, Ethereum and Monero. But some guys make a risky tricks with altcoins which just appeared. There are all fluctuations up and down possible. It’s hard to predict anything with coins-newcomers.

Is it the one that gives you the most profits at any given time? Or one that is less volatile?

I would suggest stable and strong coins. My opinion would be to look at Ethereum, Litecoin and Ripple for long term investments. They are my first choices as a trader!

If you want a stable altcoin, go for waves, ripple, xmr and litecoin. I think theyre the big players for now. Ripple is gonna go up for good this next months. If you want tokens, go for eth blue. For the long term Ethereum could be a good choice. Also another option could be electroneum, I think in a few months could start to make good profits after the disclosure of the ICOs wallets.

I would suggest you a coin with a return. Not just a plain coin which does nothing but a coin which really generates value.
There are many high promising ICO out there trying to do it.

 i choose to hold some altcoins such as my choice. i hold some of CRDNC, ETHERIUM, POLY AI, XRB and LTC. i trust those all my altcoins that i have and believe to their project to succeed. and make some profit to them.

Now, i have a few tokens/coins that are pretty awesome in my opinion which i currently am holding right now.
These are : NEO, WAVES, ETH, LITECOIN, amd of course, BITCOINS. I also have some coins without that much potential plus shitcoins that i got from certain airdrops back then. But it would take a whole lot of time to mention them all.

Yhe technique here pal, is to always read and search to woden your knowledge on how things work here in the crypto world. It is also best to spend a lot of time reading the details of every investments you wanma make to prevent being broke.
