Title: Would like to ask
Post by: UCHCHILD on November 18, 2017, 01:38:47 AM
I am confused.

I have to receive token from a campaign, it asked my ETH account address, I gave my ETH address usinh the coinbase eth address, now that the token is given to the participants, some already received theirs, but mine not.

So my question is, Did I give correct address? Does coinbase eth address is correct address to be given or not? Is there any chance I can get my token from that?

Did you try to contact the campaign manager about this problem? Or it could be just taking a little while to receive yours.

Wrong address/service dude, coinbase doesnt support custom tokens.. You should have opened a MyEtherWallet or Parity account, they support custom tokens. Consider your tokens lost..

Exactly, Did The Campaign Manager Told You Or Put A Comment in your name In The Spreadsheet if There is an inconvenience or what.  You Will Not Receive Token since The Address you Put is From Coinbase. So You Should Contact Your Campaign Manager if You can Retrieve Your Token and if There Is A Remedy of Your Problem. Next time Double Check Your address And put Address Regarding To What will Be Given. Token-Etherwallet, Bitcoin-Btc address (blockchain supported).

there is no way to retrieve tokens sent to a wrong address. it's 100% OP's fault to give a none ERC20 supported wallet.

Always remember that if it is having Wrong address/service dude, coinbase will not accept it all. It cannot also support it.. You should have open a MyEtherWallet or Parity account, they support custom tokens. Always put a correct address and other infos to have no hassles at all.

It's your fault mate that you didn't asked first,  coinbase ETH wallet address is only good for ETH and doesn't accept any ERC 20 tokens. You should use MEW wallet for those tokens, you'll never get it back if the devs already sent you your bounty.
