I can't help but wonder if the people at Ankar aren't sitting scratching their heads wondering why the sales of 10 port powered USB hubs has risen recently,  ::)

Heh, they've emailed me a couple times now asking for reviews after purchasing eight of them in a single order.

"Thanks again for your recent purchase of our Anker product. I’m following up with you one last time to see how it’s been working out. Have you had a chance to use it yet? Do you have any questions or comments regarding the product?

Every Anker product comes with an 18-month warranty. Though we don’t anticipate any problems, please contact us if you do run into any issues. If you're not 100% satisfied with the product and/or service you've received, I would be very grateful if you could let us know by replying to this email and giving us a chance to make things right first.

Moreover, please feel free to post an informative, unbiased product review or upload a video to YouTube (if you are so inclined), so that others may benefit from your experience. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we work hard to serve you and continually improve our customers' experience."

It will be one glorious day once the CGMiner team gets the USB 3 hot-plug issues resolved !

Good point. AMD execs are also going to be asking why sales of 7950s and 7970s fell off a cliff in the coming months after Ebay is flooded with used Radeon mining cards.

Nahh, not yet, viva la rise of the altcoinz...

Zalmann, Scythe and Noctura will no doubt be wondering why individuals are purchasing so many silent fans by the wholesale boxload though...

I don't know, even the cgminer devs are mumbling about dropping gpu support like they did CPU mining.

Now for some scrypt FPGAs, then ASICs :)

Then GPUs will be dead, so long as nobody makes a coin with a new algo.

First AMD must have thought - wow - these GPU's are selling really well. Now USB hub sellers must be thinking the same - I wondered that too :)

Yes they'll always have some value outside of *Coin land, just not as much :P

Right, and people like me will no longer want 19 power sucking GPUs, so we'll offload them on Ebay and cut into future AMD sales.  :)

And Amazon must be wondering why the Anker 10-port USB hub is "frequently bought together" with a 92mm portable fan. :)

That's if someone is daft enough to buy your tortured to within an inch of their lives' GPUs, hope someone buys mine...

Nah they're happy they just use the data to suggest fans to everybody else. "100s of people also bought this: Usb Fan 1, USB Fan 2, 10a 5v mains adapter."

Xilinx must be wondering why is there such a huge demand for their Spartan 6 LX 150.
