Etherscan.io (https://etherscan.io) is a good website that you can use. :) Simply login and enter your address in this format:

Code:
https://etherscan.io/address/YOUR_ADDRESS_HERE

And click on 'Watch' as shown here and you can be given notification on the address via emails, and not just limited to your own one. Cheers!

No, that's why people are searching for news about new ICO projects. Or maybe there will be some kinds of service like that. They keep updating the ICO projects and give you a notification when there is a new one.

I use cointracking.info for this. I manage my whole portfolio with that software and one feature is the auto importer for ETH wallets. Everytime you receive ETH or a custom token you will be notified via email (if you wich so) and the token is being added to your balance for gain overview and stuff like this.

Click on "Token Transfers" menu manually, you will see all your tokens received.

You can trigger that on your own. Use ITFFF. Tell it to trigger an SMS each you receive an email from an account or with a subject.

I've not use it though but alot of things are becoming possible on the internet.
I use IFTTT for a host of other things.

Seems like not I did it like you wrote but did not get any email, do I do something wrong? (It seems that you get only when you receive ETH not ERC tokens).
it abosolutely only notify when ETH get into your MEW address,, there no notification about erc20 token.

I think for the official wallet ethereum (myetherwallet) does not have a notification feature if there is a token to enter in the wallet. But you can check your transactions on eterscan, maybe other (unofficial) wallet providers have this notification feature.
