As per the report written by max keiser of RT.com. He says, the bitcoin will increase to $100,000 and only top 20 coins will remain stable.

Keiser also blames bitcoin cash for misusing bitcoin name and it is just alt coin and doesn't hold for long time.

This is bullshit.  He either does not know what deflation is or is trying to mislead the public:
He refers to the fact that the US dollar supply increases (which it does) while not mentioning that the Bitcoin supply is actually increasing as well.

Sure, dollars' inflation rate can be changed and the expected supply can be changed, but it's not like the supply of Bitcoin has decreased by a multiple of ten since last year.

This is classic bubble euphoria.  It's hilarious how he chose to mention lamborghinis as the example product to buy.

I think your statements says it all that bitcoin can not be ignored and it will keep rising in the one direction and that is upwards! Bitcoin cash, yes will never cash the bitcoin and its not even worth it to stay in the crypto community after seeing the fake pumps recently.

The price speculation for the bitcoin has always been very high and I think its always high enough for the whole community because day by day more investors are coming into market and investing the money on bitcoin.

Each time a news made about the bitcoin will get it higher status and then it goes upward, this trend will continue forever and until the 100K is reached we might see whole new era of the bitcoin. Where a satoshi would be worth 100 dollars. Man that is just cool to think about.

Governments and central banks will not allow the public to have absurd amounts of money in a decentralized system with no regulations. Even people in the crypto community are very cautious to even talk about 50k, and this guy is already talking about 100k? please.

about the top 20 coins, i'm not sure what he means, if we're talking about an altcoin not getting too much attention in the crypto market and will eventually dissapear, then no, even those unknown coins at the bottom of the top 50 still have a chance to break the market since investors are always looking for an opportunity to invest and wait for the long-term to gain profit.
If he means only the top 20 have a chance to be accepted a lot more within the cryptocurrency community, and therefore, outside the market (accepted as payment, for instance) then yes, he's probably right.

I honestly don't understand your point.
bitcoin supply is not exactly increasing, the max supply is the important thing and that is fixed and will most probably remain always fixed at 21 million.
at the same time (since we are comparing US dollar) there is no max to dollar supply, there is a finite amount of it available but it increases from time to time as the US government prints more of it any time they want. and there are currently 13,600 billion dollar supply.

with bitcoin you can not do that. the same 21 million is being "distributed" now at a slow pace.

Talking about the Bitcoin's price - it would be easy for it to reach $10K, but it might be take even longer time for it to cross $100K.

Nothing wrong with dreaming that high for holders lol. Though if you look at it, just this year btc price went from 1k to 8k and we still have a month to go. 100k may be a bit too dreamy. For the top 20coins, it probably would be the same today for the top 5 or 10 starting with the regulars like etherium

I am sick of this news coming from so called "bitcoin experts", highly speculative and guessing news with only one purpose - to make people buy or sell bitcoins so they can earn. This is my opinion on them.

That is the actual dilemma. The government loves one word, and that is "CONTROL". That is not far from impossible in my opinion, they can actually agree or legalize the acceptance of bitcoins in a certain place as long as the price will only limit to 3x their fiat price. Hmmm... why don't they just tether their money in the first place?  ;D

Anyone can say that. But it's hard to see the reasons why Bitcoin could hit that price? I have heard a lot of that kind statements before. Bitcoin will hit $20k blah blah. All i can say is, get use to that. Still many things like that that you'll encounter in the future. Anyway, that's good know. People are very optimistic about Bitcoin. $100k a piece is too much. It can't even reach $10k. But who knows? Only time can tell what will happen to Bitcoin after years. But remember, other governments are trying to slow down the progress of Bitcoin.


There's no such thing as stable in cryptocurrencies. Any at the top 20 can still be replaced by a better altcoin in the future. So i disagree about his statement.

$100k is possible but there is no guarantee when it will reach that point, if there will be something in future that can destroy bitcoin network than bitcoin can also be worthless.

Yes this is rightly said that bitcoin will increase to $100,000 as it is already showing a great increase day by day. We all can see this by the market value of the bitcoins daily. So I will suggest all to go and invest in bitcoins which will give a huge profit afterwards.

I am really not sure about that. That's a huge value for a currency knowing that Bitcoin in the first plac3 is a currency, a digital currency. I think its market value won't increase as that much since we don't know until when will the increase on its value will continue or last. I am expecting that its market value will be more expensive in the future but I don't really feel that it will reach as that much.

Yes Bitcoin might go upto this level but there are a lot of hindrances in its path. Among all the obstructions the government intervention are the biggest speed breakers on the road to bitcoin society. Which govt. in this world wants to give up control? Definitely apart from this it has full potential to reach this milestone.

No doubts Bitcoin will hit $100.000, but when? I think it will still take much time to happen, at least if we want a solid increasement on Bitcoin's price that will last for a good time and will make possible more people invest on it without fear of high volatility. About AltCoin I agree that 20 of them or so will stay stable and useful, while probably all the rest won't be very effective or worthful for all.

Everyone has right to say whatever he want. Someone says bitcoin will reach 100k$, someone says it become worthless. I think we should not believe them  and act as per situation. And as per current situation bitcoin is strong to rise up-to 10k$ atleast.

With bitcoin, there is nothing impossible, we all have seen the sharp price movement in a short time space. Once more people adapt to the usage of bitcoin then 100k might be reality.

Bitcoin is this much popular and increase steadily with time because of its anonymity and decentralization. Other coins are either based on the same concept revolving around bitcoin or they are with no bright future for long term. Soon bitcoin will be 10k$ which is almost more than 10x of bitcoin this single year. Till all of the bitcoins gets mined we will be seeing this steady growth.

Don't you thing 100K is too much for next 5 to 10 years to increase. Be practical and we all hope and wish to reach bitcoin 100k as soon as possible I am confident end of December 17 or mid of January 18 10k target will be achieved.

Well, considering next 10 years, anything is possible as I am assuming the rate of growth of digital literacy will remain constant or move upwards. There are a tremendous number of people around the world who are completely unaware about this technology but I see a good potential which is going to bring this force into the Bitcoin (Just take the example of OLA/UBER or leading e-commerce companies). If the Internet-based services can bring such a massive change then blockchain/Bitcoin is an innovation itself and it will put a greater impact on the society.

Max Keiser is right about Bitcoin Cash, it's just a clone that cost so much because is controlled and pumped.
He said that crypto world things move faster 100x times - he couldn't say this better, I agree that only Top 20+ coins will stay stable and rise along with Bitcoin where other coins will come and go or suffer unstable price.

Can the value of Bitcoin increase from 8.000$ to 100.000? One day it can. He gave a good example of Apple market cap from early 90's and today.

I don't find any solid research or base behind this report. First of all, on what bases max keiser is claiming that all other coin except top 20 will vanish. Such article are not trustworthy and are there just to create a fake hype to boost market.
Even I don't think BTC at $100K is not an easy journey. Its legality status is not clear all around the world, which is the biggest obstacle on its way. No central authority will like to loose control from their hand.
Apart from this hindrance, it got potential to grow and touch the moon.

That is the important point. Because of the limits, bitcoin is here to stay, if used wisely.

Even though there is no guarantee, that BTC will be worth $100k, this is not an absurd number. Once BTC hits 20 or 30k it's only 4x the price and if BTC is here to say, there are many many more years to get to this value.

By mentioning, that only the top 20 cryptos are going to stay, he is just referring to the current altcoin bubble. There are more than 1000 different coins, many of them are legit, many of them do not any value at all. After the current hype, one can be pretty sure, that not all altcoins are going to survive, but only for example 20% of the current coins. You could also refer to the dotcom bubble back in the days, if you want to.

Of course, Max Keiser has been a Bitcoin enthusiast for many years and he even launched his own coin back in 2014, for those, who remember.

Others have made similar predictions and some even predict that the price of Bitcoin will rise to $250,000 in the next 3 years. I think we will eventually see the price rise to over $100,000 but I am a little more conservative about the time frame. I think it could take several years but I do think it will eventually get that high.

I also think that many of the altcoins will do well also because of the various functions of theses different altcoins and the amount of money going into all these coins.

That price is very high and for sure it will hard to predict if that happen after few years because for sure the price maybe is 50k dollars and for sure the price of bitcoin will increase but not 100k dollars. For sure the price become 10k dollars before end of this year 2017. More bitcoin that you have more money to come with you.

i agree that only strong coins that will survive but we don't know what coins that will stay at the top twenty of coinmarketcap because every coins wants to be in a good position. and bitcoin is the strongest coins in the exchanges now and the other coins trying to follow bitcoin and they compete each other to get better position.

I as well think for now that saying that bitcoin will hit 100,000 is a bit of a stretch. We don't really know where it's going and how much it'll go up in long term. For all we know, we could end up seeing no bitcoin in 5 years or bitcoin in the moon in 5 years. There is just so much volatility that it's very hard to tell the overall future price of bitcoin far into the future. For now, I think sticking to a 10,000 dollar evaluation makes a lot more sense as an evaluation in my opinion.

I often don't believe in predictions on the internet from some famous people cause they just said that because of some reasons like dumping or pumping the price of Bitcoin. But I also hope that Bitcoin will reach to 100k$ but It'll take very long time about 4 or 5 years.

Not sure about some years later, Even the bitcoin next halving will be bringing the double price to the bitcoin itself. But it takes over 10 years for bitcoin to reach it. The next halving will be happening in some years later. Bitcoin will reach around $15k

It possible if the government does not regulate any regulations or policies with the help and coordination of the central bank regarding the movement and trade of bitcoin in our country. I doubt that they would not make any move if the bitcoin price steadily increasing through the days. But regardless this article of this is possible given that many people would highly appreciate and used the bitcoin and the knowledge and used of bitcoin will be much more known the people.

Theres a lot of expert saying this and that about bitcoin but in reality non of them can really predict what will happen to bitcoin.

Max Keiser has historically always been this bullish.

I don't think that this prediction is even new by any means. In fact he's been predicting that bitcoin will hit higher levels than everyone else since he started, and i don't think that he's going to stop.

Now is this good advice to take in? Probably not. He's way too bullish even in a bull market like this. Take his predictions as a prediction and not a guarantee.

Sure it will,but still long days to reach that target.Bitcoin is still not reached many people and the investors on bitcoin is very less when compared to other types of investment due to it high price swing so the people are afraid to invest on bitcoin.But people will understand about bitcoin and its potential then they will start investing on it which makes the demand for bitcoins which means price will increase.

I wouldn't really call him an expert because he's been bullish and never bearish. It's hard to say that he is an expert when he does not give any analysis to back up his claims but rather just gets a ballpark figure and gets it out there.

Sort of reminds me of John mcafee with his 500k prediction.

Don't get me wrong - i'm a long term bull for bitcoin too. However i feel like that he's implying that BTC is going to do this overnight - which it will not. It will happen eventually, as fiat is essentially self-destructive. And by then, i doubt anyone will be using fiat valuations anymore.

I realized if bitcoin will increase to $100,000 then the transaction fee will increase also maybe some $50 above, and impossible to reach $100,000 because of the transaction fee but if that happens i will not use bitcoin anymore because of the fee.

Don't be fooled. It is quite logical that with the rising price of bitcoin will rise the price of the transaction. But if you earn your income in bitcoins it doesn't bother you. The percentage transaction cost is not increased. We can say that it even decreases. If there will be a turnover of bitcoins it will not be a problem.

Well fhat's absolutely a huge value for a currency. I am nit sure if butcoin will be able to reach a value of that amount in the future because i think that's too much for a digital currency that is not even under the control and authority of any government. But if this thing would happen, i can't imagine how big will the profit be.

The only thing i agree with is that only a few coins will remain in the market in the long run along with Bitcoin, and all others will either disappear or will be worthless after some time. Though there will always be coins popping up from every corner as long as there are programmers in the world, but they won't last every long. Other than that, i don't think we are gonna see Bitcoin reaching $100,000 very soon as it still has to go very far for reaching there, and it will obviously take a dozen years to do so.

$100,000 dollars is very high amount and for sure many people sell their bitcoin once bitcoin price will imcrease at $10,000 dollars so the price for sure it's hard to increase. Bitcoin can not be ignored at all. I remembered the words of the IMF president when she said a whole lot of things were ignored in the past such as internet, smartphones etc when it comes to advancement in technology and so many people decided to give them whatever names they like, like someone saying IPAD will only serve as a platform for putting his coffee cup, and then all these ended up booming. If they close a blind eye to bitcoin, then it would be to their detriment and it is better accepted now.
There is a huge chance for bitcoin to grow and there is no doubt about it, how long it is going to keep growing or till when is something we cannot say as they totally depend on a lot of factors that can hit it positively or negatively in future.

Still a very high speculation, I won't see any reason for now that we'll be on that price soon. But if ever we'll be reaching half of it then I'll have the confidence that it's possible very soon. Don't get too far, get close always to the possible price and pump of bitcoin. Don't be excited with the quick increase of bitcoin, just go with the flow who knows one day we'll be there.

Max Keiser is an idiot with too much confidence in himself. He, like all other "experts", just rides on this market's fluctuations, which basically everyone here could do as well, since it doesn't require any 'expertise' at all. I want to see them talk like this at the time the market is experiencing a calm period of time, but that obviously won't happen since they don't know what will happen, so they choose to follow the easy way in order to gain attention. Also, those who've been here long enough haven't forgotten about how he trolled the entire crypto market with his MaxCoin launch. I add zero value to anything he comes up with.

With few countries large scale involvement into bitcoin the price has moved to such an extent and we're getting closer to reach $10000 by the year end. In the similar manner if more countries enter into legalized usage same as Japan, the price might peak high. But, if price reaches certain calculated value we won't get the opportunity to cash it out due to legal issues.

Its really good to hear off on these kind of speculations on some people who do have names on some industries but i would say that this thing wont really be possible. $100k price is way too unrealistic to consider even on $50k i would still able not to believe on reaching this price. Come to think off on the situation on where it marketcap would really able to surpass fiat then i cant be sure on what would happen on those times but well no one really knows on what would happen ahead.So lets just sit and relax on possible thing to happen along the way.

To be honest I was afraid of such numbers. I don't understand how is the price of bitcoin. I don't believe the experts. Nobody still doesn't know who Satoshi Nakamoto. Suddenly bitcoin is the American project? Maybe he was created in order to collect the maximum possible number of dollars and then bankrupt him. This may solve the external debt of America.

This is correct, bitcoin is creating new coins every year as well the difference is that the rate at which bitcoin inflates is way slower than the US dollar and that is going to keep decreasing as we get more halving events every four years.

I don't believe them either and still it all depends on the reaction of the market with their words. This has been affecting the price if there are news out there that are positive to bitcoin.

If the price can continue to be up and going and bitcoin gets the same amount of media attention as it is getting at the current moment in 5 years time then i see no reason why this cannot be the case. There will be another halving in 2020 which will definitely influence investors into investing more in bitcoin, and this halving could really be the breakthrough year for bitcoin.

BCH rising was a temporary thing, it'll probably happen again some time again in the futuer, but it's going to be a permanent pump, and overall i'm bearish. With BTC however, i'm bullish for the long term and $100k is really nothing.

He should really blame those fork coins for getting the investment that should be put in bitcoin but because of it, they were migrated into those fork coins.

It's true that we are still far far away from reaching those price levels. But looking at Bitcoin's past performance it is definitely possible. Bitcoin is growing in terms of it's value more than .3% per day!! Every 8 months it doubles in price statistically. Each 12 months the user base doubles! These are some pretty impressive numbers you have to admit. And we are still at the beginning. Right now we may be close to the knee of exponential growth phase of s-curve adoption.
In the next 5 years we may see some incredible developments. In terms of technological progress, future implementations who mcould mean some significant breakthrouh in terms of ease of use and further growth and therefore also in terms of price. Don't forget the halving event every 4 years and how always has reacted so far 1-2 years after it.

I don't think it is good listening to many heresay of speculators about bitcoin although it is quite interesting how bitcoin are valued nowadays it's still better to invest a certain percentage of your income and not all while believing and wishing bitcoin value will reach that much. Yes, the growth is not limited and the fact that the total supply is limited will make it even more valuable at the long run. A time will come that the demand will be so high with the level of huge adoption and then we will see the value increasing bullishly until we attain a huge ATH. I really hope most of us get to see these times or probably the next generation will but I am highly hopeful.

With the way it has been increasing daily, then I would not be surprised when one day, we all get to see bitcoin attaining this value. Sure, it is possible cut we cannot really say when, while looking at the possibilities of FUDs and panics in the middle of it all. However, I so much believe that bitcoin is really going to be surprising a lot of people positively in the few coming years.

It is normal now that bitcoin is still in its early stage, so speculations from everyone claiming to be expert will definitely keep coming and trust me, we have not seen anything yet.

As we can see, most of them at the lower end of coinmarketcap are already dead and we may just only end up seeing few altcoins with great projects that will end up staying relevant at the end as long as they are able to convince investors of its maximal usage.

There are so many speculation all over by speculators of the increase in the market value of bitcoin in the nearest future which we all believe it will happen some days to come as speculated by experts. But bitcoin reaching $100,000 may take a longer time for that value to be achieve because there are so many bottleneck along the line as bitcoin continue to increase in value but we all beleive some day bitcoin will reach that value.
