if you have 1000$ and want to invest it in which altcoins will make it ???

-60% BCH bitcoin cash will rise and i think it will be about 3000 dollar or more so it is best to invest in that crypto.
-10% BTG bitcoin gold is new fork and it will have gold price at 1300 dollar or less than 700.
-30% ETH ETH is the best altcoin and you will never loss if you invest in this altcoin.
-others which remove some BCH OR BTG to add more altcoins

If you have only $1000 you can't divide your investment. Just buy Ethereum or Waves and forget it for 1-2 years. $1000 is not big money, you can't make too much profit with that. Buy and hold for 15x profit at least.

First, please increase your capital to start. Otherwise, it won't worth to spend time on thinking and evaluating the coins. Really, trust me. You can simply lose your $100 because of not taking it serious.

Yes, more capital would definitely help, but it could also just magnify losses. Invest/trade with an amount your comfortable with losing, and then make a decision based on as much information as possible.

Research the technology behind the coin, the team behind it and the community behind it. If you are not looking for a long-term hold then try buy in/out of BTC and Alts as the money flood between the two. Currently, altcoins are bleeding due to btc increase.

Also, it might be worth suggesting that you diversify your portofolio, even if it is only 1000 usd.

I think investing in altcoin is very good. Because investing in altcoin will give you more profit than bitcoin but it also implies high risk. When investing in altcoin you should monitor and analyze the altcoin before deciding.

first coins is always bitcoin and then ethereum, waves, neo, rise, bat. i know that every altcoin is getting down but i am sure that in future, the altcoin price will be increase although i don't know how much the increase. at least if i am buy that coins, i will keep it for a long term and if i see the price is moving higher, then i will prepare to sell the coins.

Trading those coins is an option yes. But holding them for a longer period of time in hope for some gains is way too much risk imo.
If you have some basic skills in technical analysis and know how to trade you will do much much better imo due to the extreme volatility they all have in common.If you know how to play these up and down swings you will make much more money.
But skills are definitely needed!

I would temporarily go with ETH. Why? Because the sell wall that is stopping it's growth is nearing it's limit and t is sure to pump after it has been broken. I won't invest on it long term though, I would instantly sell it as early as I got a profit. If you are planning to hodl long term, I suggest you find better coins for long term hold with less risk like waves. Look for undervalued coins, I am sure they would give you a hefty sum in the future if you held them long enough and sold at the right time.

- 40% in bitcoin
- 20% in ETH
- 10% in different alts like ETC, XMR
- 10% in different ICO.
- 10% in fiat to buy back cheap coins if there will be huge dump.

all the alt coins have become shit coins because of the king coin called bitcoin, better stay far away from the alts for time being and sruvive from blood bath dear, better invest in btc and enjoy the fruits in long term

My personal pick for now is Litecoin. I believe in it's vision, and they are not too far from Satoshi's point of view. By the way, I want to introduce you to Angel Token, it says to be the world's most (almost) risk-free ICO. I have read the whitepaper and I suggest you should too. Once this token goes boom, I'll treat you guys with free beers.

I always recommendations is Ethereum because this coin future so more potential in another crypto I think.Now price going to be high pump 360$.BCH big dumping 1152$ so I am not interested for BCH.

pick on ETH, well at least the coins still stable and a lot of token adopted it. for me it is a progress from ETH, and it will have a better future than other altcoins/tokens

everyone will have a different opinion about altcoin that is in cryptocurrency and maybe go back to your own belief about which altcoin will be your investment destination.
but I only recommend to be more careful in analyzing and researching before investing in altcoin.
and I'm more confident of ETH for future investments even though current price is declining and it seems now is right time to buy that coin.

Why do not you choose smaller coin altcoin like ripple, sys maybe you will increase your capital up pretty fast. For $ 1000 I will use it trade coin will make more profit if you keep altcoin.

On trading there is a golden rule, don't put your eggs in one basket. You should always diversify. though I hate it, I still follow as it will save you from losing too much whenever there is a bearish run. If you like to hodl, try investing on other low profile coins and wait till the prices increase.

Maybe you can invest some of it on a well-known coin like ETH and a small part to a new altcoin. One that offers something really new, like Globcoin

if you ask for altcoin, of course my answer is EThereum,,
the price will be increase after the POS implementated as i heard it from the community  ;)

It is best to diversify your investment, and I wouldnt suggest to buy Bch as the price will fall anytime. Yes, Eth the best investment, and still look for other altcoin to invest.

With this cap I suggest you put 50% in safe coin like Ethereum or Litecoin. Litecoin maybe better due it in low value now so you can get more for your bag.
50% just join some ICO likely indaHash or anything with high rate from all participants here.

can not be sure, many believe BCH will be a rival of BTC. After some time BCH touched to the moon. In fact they forget that after the pump it will be very deep Dump.
never buy coins that have been pumped, soon forget and prepare to buy at the bottom.

Etherum is the best investment for whole users of coins, just imagine that you could earn 2x more at the end of 2018.

They are all wrong with BCH. It can't rival BTC in anyway. Well they have attempted to, but they failed. So there's no doubt that in my mind that they can't overtake BTC in any form. But they are a good investment for long term. Specially when the people behind this coin will suddenly start another pump-and-dump. And of course there's ETH which is the best altcoin for me so far. The price is mooning as of late, so its better to get them and hold for long term.

If i have a $1000 to invest in alt coins i would put it on Ethreum, Eth is pretty much stable coin to have and has been in the market for years.
I wouldnt waste the $1000 and split it just to have different coins, its a waste of capital to split it up the money when you can have one alt coin that is stable.

Why not Bitcoin? It will increase continuously. But in my opinion, with $ 1000 to invest BTC is only a small number.

It always better to diversify your portfolio. Putting all your eggs in one basket is risky.
I would split the 1000$ on several strong altcoins such as litecoin, ethereum, monero,... All these coins are stable and have active development teams.

You can study, join the forums for reference. There are many types of coins, which can bring multiple accounts in one night. Now I see XLM is also a promising coin

I will also divide the funds into various varieties of altcoin, because if I invest funds in only one project I think there is a greater risk. Other altcoins like monero can serve as a good investment place.

Yes by joining the forums will give more information also. There are many altcoins to invest but only choose coins which can provide profit. Well xlm is a nice choice yet I will add ethereum to invest.

My guess would be Ethereum out of those coins you've mentioned. But you also have other options to choose from too, I mean there are other coins worth to invest in and have a great potential to make it in the future and probably be the next bitcoin.

with a small investment like this I would buy an altcoin that is underappreciated that could go up 20x or 100x in the next 1 or 2 years

I think I will invest it in Ethereum, because Ethereum's price is now pumping. Bitcoin and Ethereum will be the only coins that I will have investments. It is for my short term and for long term investments.

Ethereum is good, but not now, my pooint of view is that any investment should start on a good base.

But we are currently passing through a December hysteria.

Bitcoin : all time high 11k$
Eth : all time high 500$
Dash all time high 800$
XMR all time high 200$
LTC all time high 100$

the list goes on and on and on...

Who really wants to invest during an all time high ?

"maybe gettin super rich or zero."

and "being sure to get moderately rich".


i don't believe december is a time to invest moderately, unless you like high risk, and hysterical markets... better wait for 2018 big dip !

Jusy diversify your money anthing that has a real uses that helps the blockchain is going to be the most profitable one.all coins are good always invest your money that you can't afford to lose.

To play safe, I'd divide it to top 10 crypto and make it $100 each. Hold it for a year, invest in next top 10 and on and on.

I think Ethereum is best for longterm investment. I have bought at 200-300$ each.
Also i have invested on a new coin. It is MNX or minexcoin.
I have bougt arround 5$ each. Now is 50$/MNX.

1000 $ I would invest in Ethereum coins - a strong currency whose price is gradually rising and part of money into Deeponion coins - a new developing currency with a strong base.

You may invest money in deeponion coins, but you can't trade it clearly because the listings are very limited for it. I would go for bitcoin and ethereum to be safe during these volatile days actually.

I would say; invest in passive income coins. Even when they are stabile or decline a little, it doesn't matter. You will increase your stack. Take a look at:
- NEO
- RISE
- ARK

Those will grow big time the upcoming years.

ETH & LTC for the time being, since your capital is small it is better to go for altcoins.

I would go and buy other coins like EOS, OMG or CMT. Maybe a bit more on CyberMiles due to only been listed on Binance exchange. If you are looking for a safe long term investment ETH is an excellent choice.  ;)

I will choose ETH from your list. The other altcoins I will invest in are OMG, NEO, SOMN and XMR.

Dividends paying coins are good choice as well. Just hold the coins and collect dividends payout.

If i want to invest in altcoin i will take for long term, and i will choose ethereum for invest in altcoin, i sure ethereum price will increase like bitcoin.

my personal advice is to invest in three types of token:

-protocols: the most valuable and scalable (BTC, ETH, ZRX)

-anonymity based token: due to the future trend of the government to control crypto asset, i think the anonymity will win in the long run (XMR-XCZ-ZEC-ZEN ecc)

- DEX: as before due to the future trend of the government to control crypto asset and to the risk of let traditional exchange to control your private key, i think that the DEX as soon as they find a solution for the liquidity will
          win against the normal one. (BTS-BLOCK-MSP-KYBER ecc)

non of this BCH and BTG is in my list. I prefer KMD, Pay TenX, BAT.

There are many good prospects to invest lately. To name some of them  , IOTA , ripple  , waves and even aventus. These are good coins that you can make money in short term and long term both but if you want to maximize your profit you need to wait a bit for these coins to lose some value first.

Maybe you can buy ETH now and then invest in a promising alt-coin, once you feel confident.

Well, this seems to be an okay price to invest in altcoins. We should always remember to never invest more than we can afford to lose, so this is a good price to start investing and get the hang of it. It's true that if we take the higher risk, we will receive higher gains but if we're not sure about our investment better to play it safe.  If I will invest with altcoins, I will choose IOTA because I've read a lot of things about it that its price is skyrocketing because of its technology different from the blockchain. Try to do some research about it and see for yourselves what I am talking about.

according to me the best choice is ETH, i've gained much profit from ETH, look at the existence and the advantage of ETH. a platform that is decentralized and can execute peer-to-peer. it has the ability to perform payment in a Peer-to-peer manner without having to use a third party.

Invest in Ethereum the price for now is cheap and affordable to buy. It is also the good time to invest and choose the profitable coin only. Takes risks to invest and earn more of btc.

I would say you pick up as much ethereum as you can and just let it sit in your wallet. Good stable coin to start out with fairly low risk and still lots of potential for future growth! I know I plan on holding my ETH for the long term!

You seems whale saying that ethereum is cheap. Still there are many people in the forum cannot be afford for 1 ethereum or more than that. If you want invest on altcoins please look at its growth by checking the price chart, supply and demand bro.
There are many cheap altcoins lower than ethereum. You can buy those kind coins that will give more profit in some weeks of time bro. Recently if you check in the altcoin list you will find the bitconnect, waves, neo and ioto grows more than ethereum.

If i have 1000$ to spent on altcoin i will put on genesis vision for erc20 token and wacth it untill the product launch.
And for the coin not erc 20 token i will choose
1. Waves ( really good komunity and the waves ng will puah the price as high as possible )
2. Exscudo ( when it hit exchange i will put some in that blockchain or buying with otc as many eon as i can buy )

in your choices i will choose BCH, many people speculate it is the next thing to bitcoin that could be possibly hit $10k soon. in terms of rate change i guess it might take a long time to reach x1000. a very good candidate altcoin for that is LTC and waves :)
