Title: Best Portfolio Tracker
Post by: kabit9 on November 18, 2017, 03:42:48 PM
Could anyone recommend an online portfolio tracker for the many cryptos?  Something that lets you enter your buy prices/tracks your profit/loss on a real time basis?  If they also had a mobile app, would be amazing!

The blockfolio is the best one i'm using on my mobile.
And https://cointracking.info/ is very nice one I'm using on desktop version. You can import all bittrex, polo orders data with just few click. Premium version is auto tracking

You can try to take a look at the crypterium project. it seems very recommended choice for you. The team will try to release the app asap but it seems to be a very good thing for you to join in the telegram group to get the more announcement about that. that's my recommendation for you

I use the blockfolio to view my assets in real time. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blockfolio.blockfolio
you can install this application on your smartphone, easy to understand and all are in your hand.
if you do not like it, there is another option that is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aev.cryptonator

I agree. Blockfolio is the best one. So simple and detailed. You can update and see the new coins/tokens anytime. And very userfriendly and easy to use for beginners.

There are many of them but these are the old ones. If you look for something new, you can check out peerguess project. They will release their product very soon, as they say.

I wanna try new portfolio trackers.

Each finds one better over the other. Here majority of the users have suggested blockfolio, I too use it. To suggest others, the best I do is just ask them to explore playstore. One could find multiple options available and pick the one that fulfill the need as well gives clear data regarding the market without much variations.

There are a few out there but I like blockfolio the most. However I have deleted it as it was very stressful having it in my mobile because I was hooked to checking the balance time and again. Now I am just using excel to manage and track my crypto portfolio.

LOL!

Blockfolio is great!

I will also try Cointracking since you can import data from exchanges, and report back in a week or so! :)

I used to think Blockfolio was a really good portfolio tracker, until I realized the company was using user portoflios to manipulate the market. I don't know where I read it anymore but you should be able to find it with a quick google search. I now use tabtrader instead. They have a mobile app too.

i would recommend blockfolio with my personal experience.

It's probably the most robust app that you'll get. However if you want something that has a website and can be accessed from there, go with cryptocompare. Simply can't go wrong with them but blockfolio's still the king.

Well, any app you use have the rights to use customer data to do whatever they want. It's not just blockfolio.

Blockfolio is not bad at all, but the operating experience is not very fluid, but very few tools of this type have a very good experience. Someone said right, COINDASH also introduced a similar product, I think you can try next.

Blockfolio, you can download it from playstore and it's easy to use. Already has a lot of coins in its database and keep adding more everyday. The interface is good and the there's a lot of features that you can use like alarm when the price below x etc.

Blockfolio is playing with the market depending on our portfolios. They take the data from the mobile app and they know who has what. Then they do trades according to this data to make money. They're smart.

How is it possible almost 100% of this thread stated Blockfolio? In my opinion the app is very booring. Sure it does what it say it does, it shows prices. But there must be something that looks alot cooler??

I like cryptocompare.com. In my opinion it's the most convenient portfolio tracker due to it's user friendly GUI and ability of making different separate portfolios. But it still has the drawback. Sometimes they add new coins a long time after they are listed at exchange.

Personally, I use blockfolio . It is very convenient and there is a version for IOS. There is still a mobile application from coincup but I don't really like.

I am using crypto compare as portfolio is only limited to phone applications so I like to see things on a big screen, maybe because of my age I think. Everyone nowadays likes phone apps but I still like looking at numbers and things on a bigger screen in the home. It would be nice if blockfolio did a web version of their app. I think Bitquence is going to be similar with more features so I will try that out also.

I prefer Blockfolio as a portfolio tracking tool on a phone and cryptocompare.com on a laptop. But I still don't like how the candle charts are shown in Blockfolio, so if I need to track a coin in detailes I use TabTrader, because trading history is updated much faster in TabTrader than in Blockfolio.

Fully agree. I use cryptocompare too. The main disadvantage of blockfolio is the absence of synchronisation. What if I have several devices? I should enter the same things several times!

I really don't think CoinDash team have a chance here, because most of these apps are offered free, so I don't know how they want to monetise their platform, also it is limited to ethereum platform

Coinmarketcap is the only website that has pretty much all the coins. You can try that if you want to know more things about your investment.

Blockfolio without doubt, this application is available on android and IOS and there are most of the cryptocurrencies on this app, you can also use Excel it's more difficult and you will not able to track your coin everywhere so Blockfolio is the best choice because it's easy to use and show the value of your portfolio in real time

Coinwatch for ios or android is perfect for this.

CoinWatch has a bug that if you set up an exchange for tracking( for an example, you pick bitfinex as your source for altcoin prices), sometimes after reloading the app you find out that your settings has been resettled and you need to update it again, other then that the app is okay, but I couldn't find any feature that is not available at the blockfolio app.

I would stick with blockfolio as they have the most advanced version and I believe it flawless from bugs.

Blockfolio was just updated and its even better now. It is %100 best app to use for tracking. You can choose tokens on time basis. You can see what percentage you made from specific date to now. etc.

The only thing that could make Blockfolio better is if, instead of manually entering your buy/sells, it retrieved that info by entering your address.  I have like a dozen different ERC20 tokens, and it would be great if I only had to enter my Ethereum address once and Blockfolio would update the holdings automatically, for example.  Same could work with Bitcoin or any other coin, i suppose.

I am considering moving my portfolio from Blockfolio to Delta. Although Blockfolio is very responsive and adds new coins and markets pretty quickly, their interface with decentralised exchanges (IDEX, Fordelta, ED) is terrible. Simply not working and they state this is due to these exchanges. I did a small test and entered some coins that are listed on these exchanges and on Delta these seems to work fine.

Is there somebody that can confirm this? Are there maybe some disadvantages to Delta compared to Blockfolio?

Thanks a bunch

I use https://cointracking.info (https://cointracking.info) to keep track of my trades and holdings. You can easily import all trades from the big exchanges with the csv file or even api keys and let it calculate everything for you with some clicks. And you have all your coins from all exchanges in one place combined.

It calculates all historic prices automatically and also the taxes you have to pay. You can also differentiate between short and long term gains.

As for mining I think they also have options to input them and calculate your gains and taxes but I never used it so you have to look for yourself if it is worth something.

If you want 10% off from the premium service you can use this link instead: https://cointracking.info?ref=S256909 (https://cointracking.info?ref=S256909)

I used it for my last tax report and it was super easy.
