I've been told that XSPEC an XVG will compete with ZEC and XMR in 2018.

What does everyone else think?

Any other suggestions?

Monero for sure.It is the most used privacy coin till now and had taken down zcash. Also deeponion will share this position with monero. In 2018 monero will moon for sure

DeepOnion hasn't done so well why do you think that is the case?

Zencash and monero. But zencash has been made more than 5x during the last few months, i still remember that they were at five dollars each about two months ago, and now it is upto twenty five dollars each zencash.
Monero will be going up too, it has a lot of features and it is much more better than zencash, but it still needs to be more hyped, a lot of people doesnt even know what monero is because it doesnt have a lot of marketing.
But it can easily touch more than two hundreds dollars by the middle of 2018, and i am sure of this because i am still holding some of them.

While you guys are so eagerly looking for those oh such anonymous and special features you might wanna check out the security of the coins you buy.  It’s gonna be open season on all clown-coins.

I'm on the fence about sumokoin, I feel like it definitely needs a rebranding to be taken seriously but it's just another zcash fork like zencash, been on the fence whether or not to mine it.

I think personally that Monero will continue doing amazing things in 2018 and even beyond. Note, by amazing I do not necessarily mean it will be *used* for amazing things, considering it is mostly used on the dark web that is. Unfortunately, due to the essentially 100% anonymity for its users it has become he go-to option for shady stuff like drugs, weapons and more just like Bitcoin was when it first came out.

Not sure about both of them, but i believe about spectre and monero. As long as the spectre can gain the more attention from the traders and that will become a very good thing in my opinion. Spectre started from nothing to something.

I think 2018 will dilute the privacy market with many coins new and old offering the privacy feature.

Not xspec or xvg actually. Only two in my mind when you say privacy, Zcash and Monero. They proved themselves on the market and we all know they're really doing this well. They'll keep growing in the market.

I think the two coins that will generate the largest dollar returns for investors are Monero and Deep Onion. Both have large teams actively engaged in development.

Monero is probably the dominant privacy coin, though Zcash, Zcoin and Dash teams might quibble with this assessment.

Full disclosure I am supporter of Deep Onion and help this platform with media campaigns and their forum. The breadth of the activity that is being implemented to help this crypto platform expand the ecosystem and dominate is nothing short of staggering.  A year out when all is said and done I would not be surprised if Deep Onion is multi bagger gain from the current $3.3M. The senior Deep Onion team is skilled in Big Data, SEO, Public Relations and Crypto Ecosystem development and I would not bet against them.

i would go with zencash, it was also mentioned by PBC

Hard to say i'll take a guess for a few BTC, LTC, ETN

XMR and Zcash and one of the strngest in 2018! They will rise up with Bitcoin in long term. We just need to wait a little bit more  ;D

My bet is Verge, ZEC, ZEN and PIVX. I suppose one (ore some) of these should make good X-s in 2018 for sure.

I believe Moreno will rising up. Especially at 2018, when so much altcoins and HYIP ICO like scam coin is the past. People will believe in stable coin and most used privacy like Monero.

Zcash can advance against monero in the market if they conduct a better marketing operation. Their marketing is a bit weaker than monero and that's why it couldn't exceed monero's position until now.

My leaning's with Monero as well, simply because I can only see XMR being accepted in places, unless Zen's the choice for markets and places I don't frequent. Zen's also had its spectacular run already, and has to still be overvalued in my opinion.

Deeponion? I'm not sure why you feel it will stand together with Monero. Even if we ignore all the news flying around Deeponion, even if they somehow prove to be FUD, it has got a LOT to prove.

Realistic moon for Monero is $300 in 2018, I'd say.

Monero is the money maker for this year.
There is no other anonymous coin that can compete with it within 2017.

My bets will be placed on monero and verge especially. I also feel zcash and some other small anon coins will do great but these 2 will make fortune. Monero will be the gold of anon coins.

ZEC definitely for the masking.. DASH is also a good payment coin..  VTC has good potential for growth in 2018 as it  still has a relatively smaller marCap.

In my opinion, XVG is a good for investment. Also i will recommend Ripple as it has a great project and team. Currently all the alts are down but i am sure once the bitcoin price will be having some correction, then money will flow in these alts making them quite a high value.

KMD is a privacy coin that will moon
they can run other privacy coins on their platform
also have a decentralized exchange with atomic swaps + can trade with particular user with built-in escrow
also have order matching (so you can put many orders with same amount, until one of the orders fill)
i think thats fantastic

also other coins work with KMD to be listed on that BarterDEX because atomic swaps help to anonymity

I like KMD too because of their concept and strong tech approach. I'll be glad if it will go to the moon in 2018. Besides I'll be very glad if verge or zen will do so too.

Kmd is good, but it hasn't shown such a high growth. Maybe by the upcoming year along with most other altcoins Kmd will tend to grow. Also verge seems to show good growth with price fluctuations. Deep Onion is the one that reached good growth in a short and trailing to grow with good momentum.

Honestly I do not believe that any of the existing altcoins will rise to the Moon. Bitcoin can do it, yes, but I have many doubts about alts. Probably we will see the fast growth of Monero, DASH and Zcash.

I like Monero but have a feeling Zero will boom in 2018.

I think 2018 will be the year of privacy coins. It is hard to tell which one will gain the most, my bet is the ones with low market cap like ONION, BGX, SUMO, XSPEC

Sumo is pretty undervalued right now, i like that coin, the developers are doing a great job on it.


And onion is not a good coin, of course not, we do not even know who are the real developers of it (or if they really exist)

I think deeponion is big competition of  all privacy coins,becose it have more bonuses,privacy but i like pivix at this time,monero have lot of problems, before and like scam...
