most of them were worst in my opinion,
but i think the most cancerous whitepaper that i ever seen was ethereumdark whitepaper.
why ? because they're using a scam project as their logi.
after they find out about this from the community they're re-work it again directly.
seems like they do not have a proper future and i am not sure about their project seriousness.
plus vitalik talking about they do not have anything or relation to ethereum because they did not use the same source or code

Ethereum dark and the one from Sebeum ico were the worst whitepapers that i have ever seen. And sebeum has been a scammy project because they have not even paid out the signature campaign that they had run for more than four weeks.
I dont know what happened to that ico or why it became scam, but it has been a very weird project and their whitepaper looked like if it was writed by a teenager of eleven years old.
The whitepaper is probably the most important thing from any ico.

In fact, 90% of the airdrop-project's whitepapers are a total nonsense. They only talk about how they will go to the stock exchange and make everyone rich. The texts are written with a pencil on the knee.

worst WP is that Wp that does not exist t all. There too much projects without Wp. I think the founders of that scammy ICO thought like "worth a shot"

There are lots of poor whitepapers. However most are sh*tcoins so its accepted.
I didn't like Enjins Wp, for a major company it was very underwhelming.

What makes a good WP?

What makes you guys LOVE the WP of a company?

for me, a good WP have detail of the project and have a make sense reason that explain why they need to devlop that project from begining till the end

It needs to explain what the company will do, why it is needed, timelines/roadmap, explain the tech briefly, hopefully explain how they’re different from competitors.

I haven’t read that many whitepapers but Monetha was the worst. It practically repeated 10000 times that they were getting involved in a billion $ industry and were going to crush it. Um ok. How? When?

It also really turns me off a projct when there are typos and spelling mistakes in the wp. If you can’t be bothered to get someone to proof read this professionally, you don’t deserve my money.

There was a white paper written by math minded scholars about their concept on the way a person can move objects within virtual reality. The concept drew me in, but I couldn’t understand one line of the white paper, the entire read made no sense. Whether that’s because I’m a non-math major or non computer language major perhaps, but I’m confused on how anyone will invest since the white paper may have been written in a foreign lanaguage because it was that non decipherable. I passed on the project, since I couldn’t understand how the project functioned nor where the project was going after they created a prototype.

Majority of the project can't deliver a proper whitepaper. Because all of them were running by the amateurs. You can see the whitepaper structure. A lot of the whitepaper just deliver nothing rather bunch if words.
