UPDATE: We've decided to offer this AMAZING collectible on auction for one more week.

Introducing the NEW Bitcoin Penny™ MANHOLE COVER Physical Bitcoin!

This MONSTER record-breaking physical bitcoin was this year's TOP SECRET summer project, and after many long months of development and production, it's finally completed!

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Our Bitcoin Penny™ MANHOLE COVER Physical Bitcoin is a special limited edition art piece that was originally conceived to be the world's largest, solid metal, physical bitcoin. Abandoning all sanity in search of the perfect medium, we finally decided to create this spectacular beauty from a genuine, custom-designed, bitcoin-themed manhole cover, made of the strongest traditional cast iron, poured at a real municipal cast iron foundry, and top-rated for all US roadway structural and safety requirements. (In other words, you could totally use this manhole cover on your neighborhood street, if it weren't illegal to drop it there without city permission.)

We created 10 of these magnificent limited edition art pieces. The first four (Nos.1-4) were pre-sold to help fund this amazing project. The remaining six (Nos. 5-10) will be sold on auction to the highest bidders.

This auction is for No.6 / TEN.

What happens if BTC goes down to say, $100 a coin. Would you increase the starting bid than? Because I don't think it would be fair to your business to sell these at a loss

We'd still honor the 1 BTC starting bid. However, I suspect that if the price of BTC dropped to $100, then the bidding would quickly exceed the 1 BTC opening minimum. ;)

Chris

Same thing if BTC goes up, it would still be a 1BTC opening bid, as it's based in BTC not USD, not sure why you are thinking in USD terms?

I see :

Starting Bid: 1.00 BTC
Bid Increments: 0.01 BTC

PAYMENTS

Where do you see anything that mentions USD?

thanks!

Why do you behave this way?

1 btc = 1 btc

If there wasn’t a direct comparison to fiat at all phases in these early years, BTC would never work/come to mass use. It’s going to take years and years and years before you can truly say 1BTC =1 BTC.  Not to mention that collectibles prices here are adjusted for the USD/BTC coorilatin daily.
