Title: Questions on json.aes wallet
Post by: Trino on June 25, 2013, 05:52:50 AM
I lost access to a blockchain.info wallet, really not a problem it doesn't have any coins in it but I need to know what sending address I used with it.  I've been attempting to manually crack the password with no luck but I recently read that a few wallet formats leave addresses unencrypted and wanted to know if this was the case for json.aes wallet backups?  If not and there is a way to find the sending address without knowing the password I'd love to hear it.  And finally if I need to just decrypt the wallet I've got some Idea of what it was and am handy with crunch so if there is a cracker that accepts word lists and someone could link me there I'd much appreciate it.  Thanks for reading, any help is welcomed.

HAve you ever sent or received any bitcoins with that wallet in the past?

Can you recall when and what address you sent to (or received from)?
