Post by: fairy_fries on November 19, 2017, 04:57:40 AM
If I sell in etherdelta and it's not sold and expires, does the ETH used for gas be back and in the wallet?

No, it doesn't. You only pay gas as a taker or when you cancel your order.

No, and it is fixed that when you are creating a transaction, those eth you used as a gas or fee for that transaction will never go back on you. But, there is another way in longing your order. Manipulate the time of it expiration.

gas will not return to your wallet that's why I'm so bored for trading on etherdelta.
if the use of etherdelta like any other exchange I think etherdelta would be the most crowded exchange because lots of garbage coins can be used as money in etherdelta.

Generally, ETH used for gas during ETH transactions are never returned even if the transaction is unsuccessful.
And basically, etherdelta is a very complex and tidous exchange.

The gas will be deducted but the amount of coins you set it up will be back to your wallet, due to in every transaction that you are going to make there always a fee of charge.

The gas price will not refund in any case if you had placed either buy or sell order. Instead of placing buy or sell order you can directly execute order by clicking on that, but it will charge 0.3% + gas price. I think EtherDelta should come-up with some easy solutions for traders.

Any gas used in transaction will never return, when it is burned, it is gone. Placing order on Etherdelta won't cost any gas since it is done off-chain. As far as I know, only depositing, withdrawing and executing trade will create transaction on the Ethereum main net.

No its a fee and cannot be refund anymore, This is one of the disadvantages of etherdelta its fully decentralized exchange that every transaction you perform must need a gas to process your actions you need some good amount of etherium in your wallet to be able to trade in etherdelta.
