What are your predictions for bitcoin in the year 2018.
Any special investment scheme or strategy you have in your mind and you want to try out?

I guess there will be a big adjustment for everything. Maybe bitcoin will have a lot of investors and traders. Bitcoin price will go high and there is such an improvement for everyone where they will catch up their sucessfullness.

I think its 2018 not 19.  ;)

Holding bitcoin I have and keep making few daily/weekly trade to increase my total bitcoin holding. I will not sell all my bitcoin anytime soon but I will keep moving funds from bitcoin to alts and vice versa according to market.

We have not yet went through 2018, so you might have mistakenly typed the year above.
Traders mostly speculate that bitcoin price will go very high as it seems to them here would be many new projects proportionating with bitcoin.
Whereas i too agree that in upcoming year, we will have to see many changes.

Wait have you typed the year right  ? The whole 2018 years yet to pass on man and what critics says is amazing, we are gonna hit the 20K prices in the next year and it might just turn out to be great years than the previous one. Lots of opportunities and we may hope to see new kind of ICO projects which are regulated and more often legit than the scam lists like the year 2017. So many ICO projects which were release at the year end up until now will be launching their developed projects and making us rich when the token they have get utilised for the real market purpose. Im seeing so many things that are bright and profitable int eh next year. We hope that new kind of investment plans comes into existence as like ICO but more legit and more planned. 

I'm just gonna do the same as this year just gonna hold my bitcoin for long term investment but still depends in the performance of bitcoin in the market if there's something happened then gonne need to change my strategy.

Predictions? Bitcoin will bounce back up before the New Year, and probably other popular altcoins like Ethereum will too, as well. I treat all ICOs as investments, and there will be many ICOs this coming year, with some promising ones like Verify (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2374729.0). Hope that next year will be a better year for crypto! :D

This year alone we have seen bitcoin rise from approximately
$1200 to almost $8000 i am predicting for next year we can
hope to see the same percentace rise again.......at least.

I am basing this on more adoption of bitcoin and blockchain
more forks which seems to have a positive affect on bitcoin.

I think Bitcoin is good investment of 2018. All the competitors are trust in Bitcoin. But we expect many changes in future. So some strong altcoin are coming to next year. This is also great deal for our profit. But we don't spend all the money in altcoin. Always hold our current currency. We should invest little bit of currency. Because beware of investment is the right decision in all traders.

I thought I would buy a large number of cheap altcoins around the price of 2000 sts - 5000 sts and would sell them around March and next year. Or maybe I will buy bitcoin and eth.

I wanna try to invest some of my money in the promising project just like crypterium and another major crypto. i believe if that was very good investment. remember i was taking a lot of profit from lisk and neo.

The year 2018 will be greater than this year for Bitcoin and other crypto currency or altcoins. I will continue to hold my precious Bitcoin and some other altcoins in other for me to keep on increasing my investment turn over over the year. Buying more altcoins when their market value is low will be my major priority in 2018

My prediction is that we are going to keep seeing a big bull market in the next year, that means that the best thing to do is also the easiest, hold your coins and be patient, I know that is not the most exciting strategy but it is the easiest and the most effective, just look at how effective that strategy was this year and when you see that then there is no point in taking additional risks.

Buying mining hardware is the best choice for investment that i think you can make a good profit.. But trading can give you more profit but much more risky than mining.. There is no other good investment this coming new year but this 2 would be a great investment..

I’m not sure about those predictions because what I see in the market is the same smell as the previous one which we had through this year. May be same kind of ICO projects over and over again and with slightly different themes or something like that. There could be increased compition and new miners in lime to harvest the energy and solve the blocks. Not sure how many forks may just appear at the start of next year.

Everything is going to be same and no I am not really seeing any big news out in the internet and forum itself. But I wish some new kind of program just pops in. ;-)

I think we are going to see more ICO regulation and more governments getting involved (either being a part of or trying to control).

My guess is bitcoin continues its exponential price rise and I will just be hodling most and trading some.

There are a lot of posibilities to make profit from the market during the next year, but a lot of icos are now claiming to be the real game changers, we must be aware of that and make our own conclusions before investing in to them.
Angel token has been very hyped during this week, and it is a good project for me, but it is a normal ico, there is nothing different from all the other icos who are giving refunds and incredible profits to their early investors, because all of the new icos are now doing the same.

Lol, you seems sincere supporter for angel token project since you are part of the campaign. But tell the truth the you might worked with the n number of ICO vamap but are all the project gives success in the market or showing drastic change in usage changes after ICO has been added a new coin to the list in any exchange.

It seems to me that those two things combined are going to give a terrible blow to icos in the next year, the government regulation is something I do not like but it seems it was necessary especially with the number of scams, but with the price of bitcoin going higher and higher then why we need to invest in icos, the answer is that most of us are very happy with our earnings and will not invest in icos as long as this bull market continues.

Bitcoin is going to perform very well in 2018 and I think I will still be doing what I did in 2017 just that this time around I am going to increase my capital. Buying Bitcoin during corrections and sell during pumping is what I am going to be doing in 2018. I have in mind to increase my capital about 30% in 2018 and expand my investment to other crypto currencies.

i do not have a strategy that i want to try it out because i already tried it,
in upcoming days i believe there will be another run caused by CME group's listing.
i am completely sure about it because lately we heard about tether problem aka hacked and moved to un authorities Bitcoin Address.
(not really sure about it,it's a real 'hacking' problem or it's just an opera created by tether team).
from that news we could see the price drowing for a moment and then moving back to its own place,
it's a sign that the demand > the pressure that currently we face.
so i made strategy to buy some of my money right now,and keep it some of it after a run(financial back up).
i believe in the next few days or weeks we should see the movement,usually there will be a run and then a correction.
when that correction happen,i will buy Bitcoin using my financial back up.
but if Bitcoin moving to the opposite,i will sell it directly.
even though i am completely sure about it,we should know that everything can be happen with it in a second.
and i made 2 start for cut loss and for profit run.,
do not have any strategy that i want to try
2018 is not really looking good from me,what i mean not really looking good is there will be no more movement like this and i think it's a time for altcoin to shine
