Looks like an coordinated attack.

Probably some DDoS attack forcing people to sell their LTC cheap on BTC-e.

Cryptsy, Bter and Vircurex are down for me as well.

I was burned trading shitcoins on those little exchanges. I just back to BTC-E now.

The admin of crypto-trade.com confirmed the attack. they are saying this to not cause panic.

It's obvious who has good tech knowledge.. while @cryptsy I allegedly have a virus since chrome warns me about the site being presented as another domain which changed a few times aswell.

Vircurex seems up but for the past 2 hours has declined my withdrawals. Anyone else experiencing this?

Bad news: Yes BTER down.
Good news: Finally managed to withdraw from Vircurex just now.

As one user said here, Crypto-trade.com has been attacked too yesterday, so at least for us its was a DDOS attack. However the size of attack was so small to make us down as we have a very good DDOS protection. No downtime for us so and even no lagging.

The DDOS attack we observed was different level. They started to attack us with around 1 Giga attack, and finished with a last try at 8 Giga around. I guess it was their maximum cause when they seen our site was staying online the attack stopped after few minutes only.

perfect timing after announcing coins-e.com - I guess someone want to come into exchange scene DDoSing competitors.
