Title: Feathercoin 0.6.4.2 - Network CAlerts removed Post by: justabitoftime on June 25, 2013, 08:11:02 PM "Anyone running the Feathercoin clients recently will have noticed that we are picking up CAlerts from the Litecoin network. Feathercoin 0.6.4.2 has a fix to disable these alerts. Alerts were introduced in Bitcoin 0.3.10 some 3 years ago now when Bitcoin was still young. This feature is somewhat dangerous as it allows individuals to send text to be displayed in everyone's clients.
