I bought a bit bitcoincash and think to sell it for $ 2000. When do you think, this will happen? after new year or before? :)

The truth is no one can tell you what would happen even in the next few seconds, let alone, by next year, most especially when it comes to a highly manipulated coin. It totally depends on you and if you trust BCH enough to hold it till next year, then that is your call. As far as I am concerned, I will rather leave my funds in BTC than hold on to a coin that can be highly dumped tomorrow.

My Advice: Do not put your trust too much on Bitcoin Cash and make sure your stop-loss is active.

If I were you, I wouldn't even put a single dollar in that coin. Even if it has a solution to one of the issues that btc has now, I won't go against btc.

Did you just see the crazy pump it got right after the segwit2x fork got cancelled ? This is totally planned. Once it got cancelled, they pumped the hell out of it hoping that people who were ready b2x will go into BCH and that's exactly what happened.

You know what was a better idea ? You could've bought btc when it dropped to even below $6k and sold today at 8k+. Heck it's not even over and may go up even more.

Sorry dude. You are one of the victims of the hype surrounding bitcoin cash because its just a pump & dump coin. I doubt that it will get it $2K again, unless the people behind it, really pump it again. But I'm not sure if they will because they have already poured in their cash during the height of its pump and now cashing it out and enjoying the profit. Why you didn't just stayed with bitcoin though, we all know that bitcoin cash in just another altcoin and do they really think that it can overtake bitcoin by pumping its price?

well the thing about bitcoin cash is that as you can see from the order book screenshot that was posted above, this coin is heavily manipulated. they are keeping the price up artificially. and when they do that, it becomes impossible to speculate about it.
they may remove the fake buy wall and price can crash or they can keep it up and push the price higher and it can slowly rise.

if you ask me, when a coin's price is solely dependent on one wall (probably placed by one person alone) then it is not a good idea to invest in it. you will be putting all your future in his hands. although I don't think they are going to let BCH crash but at the same time the possibility will always be there.

From indicators, the likelihood of making $2000 off your investment seems low. You may wait a long time because more people are getting aware that most altcoins are being manipulated. I suggest you wait it out of you have the time. Otherwise, cut your losses and move on.

Doing speculation about bitcoin cash is really very hard or say it's impossible because the market cap increased within few days and the price was artificially set and increased by the clever minds behind the curtains. Many became victims and sold their bitcoin in oreder to exchange it for BCH which was the worst decision and now you are seeking the price would go upto $2000 which is not possible until the same drama is played once again.The whole scene was pump and dump the coin after reaping huge profits within short time and then who have coins will face loss.You can notice the above given screenshot graph and situation will be clear to you that it was price manipulation done on large scale.

Like any other cryptocurrency, no one can predict when its price will bloom or fall. Surely 2017 was a blast, lucky for those who invested on 2016 on eth, they hit a homerun. I think that bitcoincash may hit 2k$ but not in the next 2-3 years. And you can also consider the hardfork if it will affect the current price. Good investment though.

We have seen how they manipulated the price of bitcoin cash and never seen such fluctuations before. So its clearly a sign that its are just artificially pumping the coin to their advantage. I also read another newcomers buying it at a price of $2K and he also thinks that it can go more, however, the price took a nosedive together with his investment. I hope the OP was not swayed by those FUD'ers here otherwise he is just another victim of this pump coin. Let this be a lesson to you and to others that just be careful on the coins that you are going to invest otherwise you will be trap and can't get out unless you are willing to suffer a lose on your end.

Sorry, I probably made a typo.  I bought at a price of 1200 $ and want to sell when when he grows up to 2000 $. My logic is that after the attack on bitcoin and pamp to 3000 $. This manipulation should be repeated on the next decline bitcoin.

I concur. All of his points are true. I've seen it myself. There are this people who wants to manipulate prices and one of their techniques is putting up huge buy wall to prevent the price from plummeting and at the same time make others buy more coins because they feel confident in that one huge wall which you should not.

There are a high chance that this attack could be made again, I agree with you. But this time it won't be successful as the first time because we are all aware of what they are doing, pumping in artificially and making manipulations from behind. I'll show you one example, Dimon's attack on bitcoin, at first it was really successful because the price pulls back. But when he try the same tactics to bash bitcoin and telling another lie, bitcoin price didn't move a bit and the opposite happened. So it they try to make their moved again, they won't be very successful, although the price could go high again as a result of artificial pump, I don't see it going to $3000.

I think that about the next year, but if the fraudsters just like roger and jihan will try top spread another bullshit news about that and it seems to be another different thing caused by there will be another fomo to the bitcoin cash and that will reach over $2000 again easily. You can try to make a tweet for them both roger and jihan to spread another bullshit again.  ::) :D

you just needed to wait for this two to place again some big cash to pumped the coin and let those riders to cry out loud after dumping so hard, I guess everything is in their control we cant say when this things will happen but surely they will do it again and again.

No it may not rise that much again as whatever you saw perviously this week was just the artificial pump by some rookie who thought he will collapse the economy of the bitcoin. But nothing like that happened and the BCH itself got ruined for the investment by different people around us. The big investors are now in the line to get their investment done in the Bitcoin itself by taking out the BCH investment and this make the market cap for the BCH go crazy down. Im sure no one will ever want to get into trouble by all themselves. Do not fall for the legacy that they created to attract the customer by showing the fake potential of bitcoin cash. Thats hilarious really.

I'm not so sure if it will happen or not. Because it is clear the coin is like manipulating the price. The price pump when hardfork got canceled and then a few days later the price back down. This coin is not too good at all. I am guessing that only trader communities are playing price with Bitcoincash. And i hear people said that Bitcoincash would take over Bitcoin's position I think it is nonsense.

If you think that the recent pump of Bitcoin cash was not a pump but actual trade then you might be wrong. Bitcoin cash crossed $2000 just because it was pumped through big investors. It might be very difficult now for it to cross $2000 since the traders know its value.
May be when BTC crosses $10k then Bitcoin cash might be able to cross $2000. Bitcoin cash doesn't have any such potential to cross $2k and might dump more.

   Pump or not BCH market cap is $20 billions again. BCH price now is $1195, from
comments here I thought that BCH will drop under $1000 but price have strong
position here.
   I am not some big fan of alt-coins made from forks, but some people trade with
them and earn from that a lot. BCH is making fluctuations that suit traders I guess,
if they know how to read market and spot where price is heading.
   Hype about BCH was huge and I think it will happen again, this is not over and BCH
will cross $2000 like BTC will cross $10000.

I do not think bitcoin will cost $ 2000. Currently, the community uses bitcoin so much that the value of bitcoin does not decrease. Also, with very little bitcoin, the value of the bitcoin will increase day by day.

I doubt if bitcoin Cash will go as high as $2000 before the end of this year again and since it fall from it all time high of $3,000 last two weeks to $1,067 within 24 hour it has not make any significant changes and there are a lot of pumping and dumping activities around bitcoin Cash.

if you want to sell for $2000 then you need to place an order sell and then forget it because we don't know when it will happen and don't need to watching in every day. i think it could be happen but we need to waiting for a longer time. bitcoin price itself is still in high price and now i think bitcoin price is in sideways and not make any move and stay at the price now. bitcoin cash now is trying to increase because i see in polonie, the price want to rise back but unfortunately we don't know how much the price will increase.

Why you waste your time, bitcoin is more profitable than bitcoin cash. I suggest you to only hold bitcoin for ling term invesment.

I don't see this happening before the new year and actually not even early in to 2018, bitcoin cash was pretty much a well time pump, unless bitcoin faces further weakness then such an attempt in the future won't succeed nearly as much.

I do not think anyone can predict exactly when it can reach 2000 $

some of my friends says bitcoin cash is decentralized by China government that's why China miners are really dominate in this coin and i was fear they will sometimes manipulated bitcoin cash price and if that so then this coin will be hard to pumped unless China miners decide to pump it and overall i have to says the price movement for this coin will be so unpredictable and could being dumped anytime and also could be the price will dropped at $1000 again or below

I believe that no one can predict 100% true future price of any coin, end of the day it only matters with popularity, same thing happened with Bitcoin, if people were not interested to buy Bitcoin at $1 & then at $100 & then $1000 & now at $8300 so how could it's reach this high value... BIG investors/players can't force us to buy, it's just the popularity of any coin which attract us & gives hopes (of course technical reasons help).

Now it's BCH's turn, it has started stealing big & small investor's attention giving it big popularity like BTC & ETH achieved.

Another big pump of bitcoin cash reaching the 1500$ mark. Is there a logic explanation for the popularity of bitcoin cash this last days/weeks?
Or is it just several pump and dumps ?

I think a mix of both coins is a good option.. more weighted in BTC but also BCC will see what will be better in the future.. short term is just speculation and as the others said nobody can say it...

BCH is attacking 1600$ price all day long, if it hits through the barrier it can easily attack 1800-2000 level. Looks solid right now at 1500$ actually has huge support there. Plenty positive news and vibes around BCH in recent days, among many it will show up on stamp December 7. For more than a month there was no announcement of the new batch from bitmain, btc steadily goes down.

Yes, I think so. Bitcoin cash is really a good altcoin with many advantages comparing with Bitcoin. I think there will be more investors buy it in 2018

The real bitcoin is heading towards 10000K by the year end 2017. So there is no chances of cash flow in bitcoin cash now.
However i can see BCH crossing 2000$ in first quater of 2018, but now before that.

I don't think it will rise at$2000 at the end of this year or early this year because bitcoin is currently on top and a lot of people engage in investing with bitcoin rather that bitcoin cash. So i think it will not rise now.

Definitely not sure about year end price. But the next leg of pump for BCH might start today or tomorrow. BTC difficulty adjustment is in 10hrs. I expected Bitcoin to correct a bit due to this, but that doesn't seems to be the output and I think this all because of tether scam. Some 5 hrs back there was a 1k BTC buy wall for BCH at 0.2 BTC. Speculation is that miners will jump from BTC to BCH just before the adjustment, this will clog the mempool on BTC and BCH party will start. Good go for short term traders.

I also keep a lot of BCH because it is really very valuable and a future is waiting for me. The $ 2,000 price is still very low and I predict one day BCH will be able to break through and become the world's leading market.

now it is almost 1700$. I think you will see sometimes it is passing 2000$ (perhaps even higher), but I won't say it has any ability to overtake bitcoin. but since it has a huge mining support from one group of people, it is much easier to be manipulated, so if your whole idea to gain profits when it goes up, there is nothing wrong holding it. I just bought when it was less than $1200, now almost $1700, but not selling yet. Perhaps wait until it reaches $3000, although I would think it would be better off having that money in bitcoin, we cannot be so sure anything in crypto.

If more people will support and convert their bitcoin to bitcoincash, there is a possibility that it will hit 2k $ mark but it will happen maybe next year.  For now, if you are a trader you can go for a short term trade because there will be more pump and dump scenario will come. Im buying at below 1300$ and going to sell after 1800$ per bch.

Wow bitcoin cash.. what can i say. Noob trader here and already taken profits out from messing around with bitcoin cash. Now im holding some for long term, i can say this has been a really emotional and fun coin to trade with. I can still clearly remember that day of the big pump, i dont think we will see anything like that for awhile.

Today price is around 1650$ and it is slowly growing thanks to South Korea exchange Bithumb through which most of the trading takes place.It is the same exchange used for previous big pump,the only thing that's different now that they are doing this pump relatively quietly.

Data from Bithumb say that trading volume was above 4 billion $ and and it shows us that something serious happens.Certainly it is possible to BCH reach 2000$ before end of this year.I am not supporter of Roger and his coin,but if we can profit and buy some BTC why not :)

I also don't support Roger Ver. But I also don't want to buy their tricky coin. Beucause I know that they will dump on people very hard, but people don't know when. If you hold during that dump, your loss will be big enough to cry.

Well it definitely won't overtake bitcoin this year.

But if it gets merchant adoption and people start using it - then it has plenty of potential next year. Bitcoin won't ever sort out it's scaling problems, so the moment is ripe for another coin to make gains in the usability area.

It had risen up to 2.8k so i think that 2k is not a big deal for Bitcoincash. I think that at the end of the year we can see that bitcoincash will be back at 2k at least its already going up now.

I think that 2000 is achievable to CASH the BITCOIN price at the moment. Now the price of around $ 1600. I think that further positive news would be growing.

I don't believe in BCASH. And the fact that it grows amazing to me. Now of the top 5 coins 3 BITCOIN. So many forks to count. Already diamond came out. Soon to be top 10 coins and all of the chops for every taste logos.

You need to wait 4 years begore you can sell it at that price. Why ? Because when bitcoin going in to correction phase bitcoin cash will going down too so where people move the money to ? They will move the money to another alt like eth and Gvt and omg. Or maybe they will invest in ico. I dont like bitcoincash it is a fake bitcoin for me.

If you really looked at the trend of this coin since its inception, then you will know this is not a coin to hold for too long. Two things are bound to happen;

1. You hold for too long and then you end up finding out that you have lost so much when you could have gotten a better profit in a much better non-manipulated coin.

2. You are lucky to buy at a time when the value was very low and then you decided to hold for long and sell at peaks (that is totally a very huge luck which might take some time)

However, I will advise you to look for a better coin with much more chance than trading this coin which is being manipulated by Roger, except you are OK with that and you are ready to take the risk, then you can go ahead.

By the time I am writing this post Bitcoin cash has already reached $2000. It was around $1500 recently and has pumped to $2000 as all the major crypto currencies like ETH, XRP, LTC and DASH have raised quite good in the past few days. I know there has been a bad history with this coin since it was used to manipulate BTC and had pumped the coin hugely and then dumped it too. Many investors lost their duns being a bag holder. If those investors had hold their coins they could sell it now and get their investments back. Since many altcoins are rising there are pretty good chances for BCH to rise as well but beware of this coin as it can be dumped at any moment.

I don't think BCH will soon going to touch $2000 mark, But do exit at that point after booking the profit. The price rise of BCH is totally a effect of pumping by big fishes in order to gain profits. So I don't think it will going to resist on that price for longer time.

BCH turners are not moved back to bitcoin. Once they all moves back to the bitcoin, you will find the bch price will be reduce in the chart.

It reach $2000 a few days ago. And now back to sub $2000 maybe after cme launch it will goes above $2000 again. Many people still does not trust bcash its because roger ver is very emotional when interview with john carvalho. And we cant say it has no effect. It will effect the price. Not anyone can tell you when bitcoincash will be worth $2000. Everybody just like give opinion and in my opinion, bitcoincash will not worth $2000 this year and next year about in february. No good news untill now.

Bitcoin Cash, is a very speculative currency, the news change constantly, so for a serene investor is not attractive. We know that most crypto investors are hybrids, technicians and fundamentalists; on the contrary, we can wake up and the price is $ 3000, or the price is $ 900. In my opinion, we should be cautious.

I think it all depends on what Roger ver wants to do with it. He owns nearly the whole chain and can manipulate it any way he wants to. It's a very speculative coin that I do not believe is a match for the power of BTC

I think it would be more than the price in because these coins are always increase although only a few percent every week.

I think Btc will grow up to 2000$ by 2018. Now the growth is fast, but there will probably be a slight drop.

Maybe till the end of this year bitcoin cash will hit 3000$, it is impossible what is happening right now but we can just regret if we didn't invest in it!

I believe you have been following this market and bitcoin Cash is currently above $2,000! the current bullish trend is as the result of cryptocurrencies adoptions all over the world and as at today the total coinmarketcap of cryptocurrencies is around $610,000,000 and bitcoin Cash actually benefited from this growth and development. I believe that by first quarter of next year bitcoin Cash will be above $3,000 and it might get to $5,000 before August next year when it will be one year old.

Here it goes again. Bitcoin Cash reached 2.6k and only god know where will it stop this time. Bitcoin cash is having a very interesting journey. It definitely made lots of people rich. If you know when to buy and when to sell bitcoin cash can still be a very profitable investment.

Feel you mate. Let's see how its goes. I'm not a fan of this coins, but I guess when all the altcoins are being pump right now, its time for bitcoin cash to be pumped as well. But we all know that its not be long term. It will be just a matter of days before it will crash once more and then we will see thread of "I told you so".

Its already $2700 as per coinmarketcap, and it be pump more as bitcoin price is going down. We have seen this before. I hope you guys will not be fallen for this trap again. All this pump-and-dump in altcoins markets are really making a lot of people rich as long as they know what you are up to.

Impressing... More than $4200... If it continues like that, on next year it may be able to supplant the real Bitcoin. Maybe it is good to stock some when the price gets lower.
