I have downloaded the ELECTRUM BITCOIN CASH Wallet few weeks ago. I would like to withdraw the BIT CASH to my LEDGER WALLET but I receive an error : the transaction was rejected by network rules 16: mandatory-script-verify-flag-failed (Signature must use SIGHASH_FORKID) Can you please assist? Electrum works with Bitcoin, Electron Cash works with Bitcoin Cash. Title: Re: ELECTRUM BITCOIN CASH ERROR Post by: Matanlaz on November 20, 2017, 09:35:55 AM Initially, I have downloaded the ELECTRUM and accidentally sent the BITCOIN CASH to its address.
Due to that, I could not see the BITCOIN CASH in it. The solution was to download the ELECTRUM CASH wallet. Once I did it, the BITCOIN CASH just showed up. Title: Re: ELECTRUM BITCOIN CASH ERROR Post by: pooya87 on November 21, 2017, 04:27:15 AM the transaction was rejected by network rules 16: mandatory-script-verify-flag-failed (Signature must use SIGHASH_FORKID) this error means you have created a "bitcoin" transaction and now you are trying to send that transaction on "bitcoin cash" network. they obviously reject it because it is invalid on the other network. - install the latest version of Electron-cash 2.9.4 - import your private key there and try recreating the transaction and sending it. |
