   As stated in the title I know that this sounds way out there but take a moment to entertain my thoughts.

   Is it possible that Gavin Anderson was chosen by the CIA to become the face of Bitcoin? Satoshi seemed to just disappear from existence and left Gavin in charge after Gavin took a meeting with the CIA(Why he chose to do so boogles my mind). Is it possible that after that face to face meeting that they chose for him to become the public face of Bitcoin? Why has the US not followed Russia and China in restricting Bitcoin use? Or for that matter lead Russia and China to restrict it's use as they seem to like taking the lead in every other instance. ??? ??? ???

There is no proof of this, at all. So we should be careful when putting someones name out there like this. But, as I have learned. Anything is possible.

Well thats a really interesting topic.. some people do  :)strongly think that.. the US holds all the dollar market thus..they want to shift their...money and distribute it to.. others.. as in the person who invented bitcoins was not a person rather a body which wanted bitcoins.. to distribute the uneven wealth and brinh equality..this is one fair thinking but..what if ? They were some enemies of the US and wanted to.. Destruct the system..
But then again if this was so then the CIA won't be involved and US would have banned bitcoins long ago..thus its very.. hard to even imagine a senario like this.. we don't know the reason its in the market and the reason it was created ..what we can do is to sit back and enjoy the ride until  Everything is very clear.

We all know that the CIA were kinda/sorta the ones who first started TOR or the Dark Web. So anything is possible. But you are then saying that the CIA are the ones who invented BTC and gave face to Andreson? I highly doubt that the CIA would allow a non government backed system to be unmanaged at any point in time. Also, what are ideas for MTGOX and breaches and so on? Was that to destroy credibility after seeing it grow, or just a moron that did not understand what he was buying, or was he a fall guy?

As for theories, I just have a feeling Hal, Wei, and Nick had some roles in being the real Satoshi, seeing as how they started the precursor to BTC. And Dorian could possibly be the fall guy so to speak. They were all in Cali around the same time. And Hals ALS was starting up around the time Satoshi went dormant, along with him being the first to receive the first transaction (probably from the collective to show POW). Then again, this is probably most people's view on the matter though, so it's nothing new.

As per Satoshi's P2P paper it states "A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online

So we know exactly why it was created. Unless people think that the actual BTC WP are bunk.

I can definitely see where you are coming from. But if the CIA knocked on your door and requested to speak to you, you wouldn't really have much of a choice but to talk to them. Either directly at that moment or through your lawyer. That's just the way it is in America.

But at the same time Russia and China have formed/joined the economic union labeled BRIC. So I feel like they are completely separating themselves from America.

So i no longer use both of those counties to try and predict what America is going to do. And visa versa.

Anything is possible and I don't put anything past the CIA these days. You bring up a good point, but not sure Gavin is a willING participant.

There was some speculation back then that Gavin was recruited, but that was a whole other time. People in the Cryptography

scene back then were very suspicious of any government involvement and mostly communicated anonymously on "special"

forums. People creating their own currencies were not welcomed at all, and the anonymity was a big issue. Gavin might have

been turned... we will never know.  ;)

is it not possible, why the hell would an agency like the CIA create bitcoin? This does not make any sense

I doubt that Gavin is the most influential BTC supporter at this point.

Considering that it's impossible for BTC to have any central authority, it would be irrelevant who the CIA was choosing to support regardless.

There's also no evidence of this (you're right, it's a crazy conspiracy) and Gavin wouldn't be open about his meeting with the CIA if this was the case.

Wrong. That was Gavin Andresen and not some guy from Sweden, that you were refering too.

The only leader that bitcoin had was satoshi this is why I think he choose to withdrew from bitcoin that way there is not going to be a head person that you can say is the leader of bitcoin since no one is ever going to have the authority he still holds despite his long absence.

Bitcoin is decentralized so,why should its affects  the investigation of CIA in the world of cryptocurrency.i thought this man gavin anderson is only a representative to narrate or protect the  world of bitcoin into the CIA that to explain to them that this crypto is purely an investment and not usee in illegall activities.Gavin anderson that could rhe face of bitcoin because he himself represent to us,that bitcoin invest in a better world to help the community being a productive.

Crypto has enabled WikiLeaks to survive. I don't think that they'd ever do anything to enable the perceived enemy a way to benefit.

CIA are protecting the identity of this man. by the way, we shouldn't dub a name coz it might happen that other people will crack down his identity. I think Russia is regulating bitoin right now maybe China has restriction about the bitcoin use..

One too much relation to wiki leaks which was referred to as a hostile non state actor by the CIA. Two people that disappear have nothing to do with the CIA. Get evidence or stop making wild claims, the CIA is a very professional group that serves our country with honor. In my opinion the men and women at the CIA are Patriots.

Conspiracy theories are only fun if you have substantial evidence. This theory doesn't. What you claim as evidence is completely and utterly circumstantial, and assuming Gavin Anderson to be Satoshi based from just that is a ridiculous stretch.

Neither China nor Russia has imposed a complete ban of Bitcoin. Both of them seem to be on the fence. Both countries are also known to be repressive, with their citizens being unable to enjoy certain liberties other countries give. The US is no such country so it would make no sense for it to take the same steps.

Lastly, I don't see any reason for any three-letter agency to create Bitcoin, or at least not the way it is. Why would they bother creating something they can't control? These are the type of guys who spy on their citizens and want a backdoor on every cellular phone. Creating Bitcoin would be against their modus operandi.

So that they can take compete control of the financial system and monitor every single transaction that takes place
