Title: Has anyone managed to sync an Ethereum full node Post by: neurotypical on November 20, 2017, 03:55:14 PM Ethereum is impossible to sync as a full node in my experience. I tried to sync the entire blockchain and after 2 weeks (yes, 2 weeks!!!) im still stuck at less than 50%. It seems there was some sort of spam attack and some of the blocks are pretty much impossible to download and could even damage your hard drive due the insane amount of i/o activity.
I would like to know how can Ethereum ever be trusted if you can't even properly sync a clean blockchain since day 0. |
