Mind if I ask a couple of questions, because it's kinda vague for me what exactly squeezer does?

So as I understood squeezer is a framework that allows me to integrate apps with block chain, right? What exactly I can do using squeezer that I can't do with my Python? Can you describe an example app that would be painful to build without your framework, but can be done in minutes using it?

Glad that you asked . Firstly, Squeezer works on more languages ( JAVA, Javascript , Python ... ) , even if right now we got only the javascript app templates added and the language runtime variation is limited by the Cloud provider resources ( eg: AWS Lambda ) . At the moment the framework works only to build "traditional" web & api apps but if we reach at least our minimum token sale goal we will make the framework "blockchain friendly" :)

Real-life example scenario :

story : "As a user I want to build an API endpoint that extracts all transactions for a specific ETH wallet address"

I know there are a lot of third party providers that will give tools to access this kind of resource  , but personally I think that any blockchain data can/should be processed on the same client's site ( VPC, LAN ... )

In order to get all transactions for a specific wallet you need to parse all blocks and this mechanism differs from a blockchain type to another .

What we want to do differently is to create "agnostic connectors " integrated on Squeezer Framework . Accomplishing this you can extract data, transactions from any blockchain type ( BTC , ETH, ... ) with the same methods , and the returned chunk will be a normalized JSON and
no requirements to install the blockchain node on local machine and download the entire blockchain data which most of the time painfull.

We will provide the tools to provide you the right local development environment and make the implementation available on cloud only by triggering "sqz deploy" , things that we already accomplished with the current implementation on the standard projects .


I had the chance to work a few months for a large blockchain consultancy company and I saw this gaps , and we lost a lot of precious time scraping blocks or unstable APIs from third party providers just to get a list of transactions from blockchain . So why you should bother to customize mechanisms to parse blockchain data when you can focus more on the app/business logic ?

The only thing that changed is that the token distribution will be in the July 20th - July 30th period, except the Airdrop/Referral/Bonus token distribution, this will stay in the July 30th - Aug 15th period like was announced before.

There are network studies applied to Bitcoin that say it could be currently overrated 4 times. Bitcoin could go to $ 2000 and the rest of cryptocurrencies follow him. What will we do if that happens? I am one of the admins from Hacken and it’s not mandatory. Quite frankly, Hacken has well over 60 clients and partners and not all are listed. It doesn’t mean that squeezer won’t be listed but it’s very common for all our partners and clients to not be listed. As we’re restructuring our website, there could be the opportunity to add a complete list of all our partners and clients.

 it's mostly a matter of common sense, we don't want to put a timing or BTC/ETH price on it, there is much more to it than breaking some resistance level on a chart, everyone has their own opinions about the current market and when it will be 'the right time'! Our team will be keeping a close eye on the market movement and consult regularly with our advisors. Current State of Development

We are aware that there are some contributors that wish the listing of the token on secondary markets (crypto exchanges) which we totally agree with. Still, at the moment the secondary market does not reflect any stability, which is against our token value performance, which is pegged at $0.20 USD. The token, at this price, can be used to purchase services on the Squeezer platform, or purchase pay-as-you-go services.

Another issue is that a large part of the credible exchanges that we are striving to get listed on, are requiring proof that Squeezer Token is an utility token, which in our case is reflected by the Squeezer Platform which is included on the product roadmap for delivery on the Q1 2019 (end of March).
