What do you guys think about ONION? How high the price can possible get by the end of 2018? I'm hoping for anywhere between 25$-50$  :-* Tell me your thoughts and opinions.

I think $3-5 is more realistic but you never know.

$25-$50 is too unrealistic in my opinion. The coin doesn't have much hype and is looked at as a scam. The only thing it had going for it was the airdrop and now they've made it so people with more coins get more coins, impossible for new users to join.

I will go with you for $3-5 dollar before the end of 2018. Since airdop still ongoing. Then the price will not go too much as 5Odollar for me. But we see it for few more years. For onion's holder. We need an extreme patience to hold our coins until we reach our expected price.

It won't. The airdrop still on the schedule and all of the airdrop participants are keeping their deeponion in their wallet. The market only in the cryptopia which doesn't get huge volume. I was expecting about that will never move into another decimal.

I think deep onion will be in the same place the next year. I'm not expecting big things in 2018, maybe it'll moon after more than 1 year.

I only have ONION through desktop mining or faucet or whatever you call that. But yeah, hopefully it does have a value by next year when it is out in the market.

I recently found out about DeepOnion and ahve been looking a bit into it. So far I find it an interesting project with a  priority on privacy on the internet which is a hot topic nowadays. Since the Airdrops will cause some inflation the price should drop but the at the same time the airdrops also draws new interested people/investors so I think this might balance out and the price seems to be fairly stable. The price might drop slowly for a time (there will probably be a pump/dump sometime) but I am hoping it is a 1$ coin during 2018. That would show that the interest is kept and if developers follow their roadmap i don't see why the coin might not go even higher after that.

Agree to that. With strong community interest towards this project. And After airdrops complete in Q2 2018 and on track of their road map. Next year I believe the price will go up. :) $ 5 - $10 will be my prediction for next year.

The price is something that is difficult to comment on. However looking at the community support and development I think 2-3 dollars would be an ideal value for Onion. Nevertheless, things change overnight in Crypto world hence you will never know.

After airdrop ends, there might be a moment of dump and the price would take a hit but then after that things will be stable for sure.

I not so optimistic on deep onion price after 40 weeks, since all airdrop participants are free to sell their coin, so I guess there is a big dump.

25$ -50$ is too a lot but can reach 20$ in 2018

It’s hard to predict price levels even more after all airdrops end but community members are now free to trade their onions. Means you no longer need to hold 90% and can do whatever you want with your onions which is very good in terms of trading and helps to get more volume. All that reflects in price and iam very satisfied with the current price development the last few days though I don’t even own that many onions. My guess would be that we might see 10$ levels sooner that you think. A lot new investors incoming. I suggest to HODL strong and you won’t regret it  ;D

I hope we get to see 10$ before the airdrops are done, that would really indicate this is a strong coin and it is a psycological barrier. If we can go past 10$ without "panic selling" where people take profits then I think we can go much higher. It will be interesting to see what the developers and marketing guys for DeepOnion have planned as we near the end of the airdrop.

I think it is important to have something in the pipeline to keep the interest of investing alive.

I think at this time next year it will definitely be in double figures. Privacy coins are booming right now and deeponion has an impressive roadmap. If they can indeed get smart contracts to work on their blockchain then it would do very well.

Its January 29th, 2018 and the price of DeepOnion is currently sitting around $7.00. The original OP price prediction of around $25-$50 looks attainable by the end of March right now. Let me adjust the OP's prediction to now around at least $80.

Deeponion is very good altcoin and it's developer making new developments for it's growth, As per my prediction by the end of 2018 it can reach near about $40-$50.

DeepOnion is at a very good price now and I expect it to find it to find a solid resistance line at 62k sats.  I'm picking some up because I can also stake them for 10% income while I wait for DeepOnion and the entire market to return.  When the market does return lower cap coins like DeepOnion usually return at a much great rate than the biggies like BTC and ETH.

Why are you so afraid of the airdrop ? It is not really for free. You have to write, you have to work, in fact you have to contribute to the PR campaign of Deep Onion just for a few coins.

It is better you buy Deep Onion on exchanges. That is the best way.

I believe Deep Onion can be at least hundreds of USD before 2020.

Don't miss the train ! It is very cheap now (1.98 USD). Even it can go a little lower, you also cannot save much. The market cap is now only 28mil USD. Soon it will NOT be less than that of Dash, Monero, or Zcash ...
