This is not a new project..... there has been similar projects in the past. Your site shows : Sold: 1,600 and Available: 998,400,

but only 4 blocks was taken up by your own site.  ::) ..... Someone made lots of money with the first one and now people

emulate their projects in the hope that they will do the same. Why not come up with something new and innovative?  ;)

Do a rotatable virtual cube with many sides or a round ball or a pyramid.... but this is getting old.  ::)

It is the old idea with a twist for the trending cryptoeconomy and blockchain technology advertising!

One block equals to to 400 pixels (20x20).

There is no point in selling anything smaller than that because it would not be normally visible.  :o

You claim this to ben a new project adding the crypto buzzword in your marketing plan, but this is nothing new...

At least you could have made it purchasable with bitcoin (which would be muuuuuch more profitable in the long run), but you stick to USD. So sad...

The domain has only been registered for one year.

It is not a scam. This project's success is tied to another larger project. Check out the site from time to time to see what new pops up.  ::)

The Bitcoin price fluctuates too much. The thing is that you can pay with many different crypto currencies once you have made your order. If you want to pay with Btc directly you just have to contact me.

Yeah, they want to make money. The reason they made this is not to put you into the history or advertise your service. It is meant to be an "easy money" method.
An older website was successful with this concept and cryptopiece.com is copying that other website, turning "internet history" into "crypto history". They haven't made even the slightest change to the website...

They're exactly the same, with the only difference being that one is focussed on Cryptocurrencies and the other isn't.
I feel like Cryptopiece should atleast have its layout changed a bit, so it looks like it's more than just a copy of a successful site.

It's not made for you, your history or your advertisements.
It's made for them, money & a whole lot of success.

Chill, guys. The website owner clearly states his inspiration (Actually, I also remember ad-pixel!) even though I must say that those days are somewhat gloomy reminders of the post dot com boom, when ad spaces were filled with blinking, flashing, noisy ads - I think Ad Blocker was just coming up at the time!

To OP: I've seen at least one version of this idea already try here and fizzle out - I was amazed that people bought space then, although at $1,000, 1 BTC for first entry seemed worthwhile since it worked best for the first buyers.

I'd be careful about claims of adding value though. Crypto here is just your mode of payment, not the tech or even relevant industry. There are many who might feel that this ad structure somewhat damages reputation instead of adding value. I suggest you develop pixel tracking for crypto projects (dare I say, ICO?). At least the data derived from there might help ICOs learn better marketing/promotion strategies.

Hi there! The cost is $49 per block. Each block is 400 pixels (20x20). You can have as many blocks as you wish.

The reason for selling them in these blocks is because anything smaller than 20x20 pixels would be too small to display anything impactful.

The payment can be in 30+ crypto currency coins, including Bitcoin (it uses the Coinpayments system).

You can also write to me in person advertise@cryptopiece.com and we can proceed manually.

At the moment I am building up BuZz about it by advertising the existence of it on many different platforms (btctalk, reddit, youtube, twitter, instagram, slacks, facebook and discords server. I recently placed an ad at the Honeybadger blockchain conference in the Batic states., and I am going to start getting into Telegrams and emailing) - My aim is to get the ad-grid is full.

Hello Yacov! That was my original source of inspiration. Besides selling a visible ad-spot and a link to the website I will be presenting the ad-grid, in one form or another, at the DC Blockchain summit 2018, + the ad-grid once full will be hand painted an placed in the Bitcoin museum. The website will keep functioning too.

I have my first order ready, now I am just waiting for the man to send me the 20x20 pixel logo. Stay tuned!  :D

Sorry, but it seems to be just a copy, not an original idea. Try adding something individual into your project!

Sadly, this is not a new project since there are different projects of the same type that has appeared for many years already.

Seems like the project doesn't run pretty well, gotta need some improvement in the promotion area. I mean, I know this is not a new thing on the internet, this could possibly be a successful project if you did a good job on the publicity.

Do you have Analytics on how many users are viewing this site daily? What are you ranking on google? This is a great idea, but if you don't have viewers it seems pointless to buy space on here. I am very interested to learn more.
