Title: To windows update or not? Post by: Lycanthian on November 21, 2017, 02:17:16 AM I've finally got all my hardware up and running, bios updated and all that jazz but I've yet to hook up my first rig to the internet. I searched through some threads, most with complaints about windows update and I'm wondering what the current opinion is regarding updates on a fresh system. Should I go ahead and let this thing update to a certain point or do I just want the whole deal disabled from the get-go? Running windows 10 pro.

Some Windows Updates may involve changes in drivers, our miners app are sensitive to it, and might cause instability when changed. might have a test rig first before deploying to farm.
