hello guys,hope you are all doing great,please i want to know the altcoin i can invest in presently which i can hold for 6month before taking my profit,thank you.

you can always try investing to an ICO, make sure you select the right one not like scam ponzi scheme ICO. but if you want to invest to coin that allready have a value you can try Ethereum, monero or Qtum

I m looking at Publica. It just ended up with ICO raised 1 million. Tomorrow will be listed at ED. Worth to study before invest.

If you just want to buy that alt and forget about it for that time then better pick something from top 10 cryptos. The price of the others usualy change very fast and you can earn only on pumps which is not suatable for such long terms.

If you're new in crypto better invest in a well established coins and already gaining profit. A safe investment would be ethereum and bitcoin. But if you really want to invest in ICO better research them first before starting to invest in them.

Man, just choose Ethereum. It is a solid coin that is highly expected to grow in 2018. But of course, make sure to do your own research and choose the best option.

Some people say that BTC is perfect, some people invest in ICOs.

I advise you to invest in Ethereum because Ethereum is a stable coin and the price will soon rise.

Ethereum is pretty hot right now but you should definitely check out Lisk, it's in really good shape.
I suspect Waves might be going up pretty soon as well.

Now is the time, although I propagated them before buy them while they are low. Now we see Eth and lightcoin at the altitude and others are tightened, perhaps this is due to the growth of bitcoin, but it's nice.

In a matter of a year, STRATIS has risen a thousand times. My god, Nicholas, the programming power of this man in the end how strong, can not imagine. I think although STRATIS worth the wait, but the rate of increase will not be great.

Choose one of the top 30 altcoins on coinmarketcap and HODL it. Don't sell when it dips. At the very least research the whitepaper first to make sure it's legit.

If you looking for new coin/token just entered the market, I think by hold these coin POWR and GVT will be promosing profit later, because when these token just entered the market I look the volume and market cap is high, and also the aim of the project is interesting and also this project has other good fundamental. If you are looking at very low risk investment with limited but guaranteed return then invest in - Ehtereum, NEO, Dash, CVC, qtum and such coins that are established.

If you are looking at other altcoins with high risk and high return then go for ICOs from established team - Kyber.

Thirdly, you can trade on exchange, by coin for cheap and then sell at high when they get pumped.

For 6 months it seems to be good suitable for Ethereum and Ripple, I think these coins is more likely to gain an investing's profit over that time period. six months is not a lot, it's kinda short term and therefore it's risky to invest in altcoins, because most of them will deliver most value when public users start utilizing the blockchain technology (which might take a couple of years). If you want to invest in something for six months, you can put your money in BTC or ETH, both of them have been quite stable and their short-term outlook is quite bullish, it's expected that BTC will rise further due to the December CME integration (futures will be available to be traded for BTC, which will drive demand up due to institutional investors joining the game and overall media publicity) and ETH because they have the upcoming upgrades planned which will improve the general Ethereum infrastructure and drive up the price.

You can all check out DOGE right now. The price is pretty much on its all time low and I think in 6 months time it would likely come back up at least 60 sats each or even come back to 120 sats each when it pumps. By just checking the history of DOGE you can see that it has consistently gone up to 120 sats each when it pumps. So I would suggest to catch that train while its not yet moving.

Find projects which have had e a successful ICO and are currently trading below the ICO price. Be careful that the developers are currently working on the project and have not abandoned it.

If you are just holding for 6 months I think that really closes down you options for real profit. You may get lucky if a coin gets pumped, but you can of course get the exact opposite. Given your time frame, and not including bitcoin, I would go for Dash, Ether or IOTA. All of them seem to be able to jump at any moment, because they are a lot of rumors of improvements to the network on the first two, and IOTA is getting a lot of attention lately since it offers a now fee option for transactions. But again, if you really want to hold, I would suggest that you do it for at least a year.

Take a look at Verge, Zen and Civic. The first two is about the privacy transactions. The third is about KYC procedure (know your customer) on blockchain. They will probably make many Xs in 2018 according to their roadmap.

Today many believe in BitConnect and sure in stability of Ethereum. As for investing, it really depends on how much you want to spend to get profit. Buy several altcoins not to be disappointed much if one of them starts to fall.

I found an ICO that I think is very interesting, I went through the whitepaper and I like their vision. This one looks a lot like Storj and Sia. The big difference is that they do it under NEO and not on ETH. This will allow data processing much faster. I also like the fact that it will integrate a Marketplace to their decentralized cloud storage solution. I bet that the value of their tokens will explode in the future.

Always DYOR. Always. I invested into several ICOs (TNT, WAN, ICX, Red Pulse, Lampix). Plus bought some coins and kept them long time in loss postion, but I had a clear understanding of basics of those coins. Now 80% of these loss coins doubled their price. The problem is that BTC made X5))) So I traded in loss, even I doubled my USD position.
I also plan to invest in some NEO ICOs.
