Bitmixer.io (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2042470.0) was totally legit, they closed their services a few months back.
What is the URL of the webpage you visited? Your BTC is probably gone as you got scammed by a phising site.

bitmixor ≠ bitmixer

Edit: Sorry for your loss

Bitmixer was a legitimate Bitcoin mixing service which existed until a few months ago when they abruptly decided to shut down.

They've always had phishing sites, but it's absurd that those sites are still going considering that the real site has shut down (http://bitmixer.io/) and they no longer offer mixing services at all.

Sorry for your loss.

Naah, it is not a scam site. Bitmixer.io is a legit and most popular bitcoin mixing service of all time and it had ran a campaign here in forum, they are one of the longest running here but unfortunately the management has stopped to operate with an unclear reason.

See the difference from bitmixEr.io > bitmixOr.io and as for checking that phishing link it is suspended now after scamming you.

They did totally ran with your bitcoins, sorry for your loss mate. There's no way to contact them anymore.

You lost your bitcoin because of another bitmixer phising site.

This is the reason why you should always check for correct URL and reviews about the platform online before sending any of your bitcoin because it is irreversible.

Also did you verify that letter of guaranty's signature with official bitmixer address? most of us don't even care to verify signed message on letter of guaranty.

By they way, bitmixer was already closed down by its owners.

Curious, how can they be scam when they are closed? Also do you know what does bitcoin mixing means? Bitmixer.io was website which made revolution, introduction of mixing service, they were really legit and no one had even one problem with them. Better to think before you post ever and don't say such mistakes, it makes you not serious.
So op now you know that bitmixer doesn't exist anymore. Currently popular mixing services are: Bitblender, cryptomixer and chipmixer. Save their original links and avoid searching/filtering on google (Becose some scams are on higher rank).

Not the first time not the last when bitmixer website has been cloned and someone foolish enough no to check the address in details was scammed.
A few months back I posted a thread where I found that Google sponsored search result are the plagued with fake bitmixer sites too.
It is even scarier/amazing at the same time is a fact that after an even official bitmixer site was shut down there are still scam sites which take advantage of bitmixer's reputation...

You have been a victim of phishing site, they are everywhere and not only mixing services they are trying to copy and also web wallets. Sorry for your loss but there's no way for anyone here to recover it unless they are very generous to send it back to you.

Mistakes are common, so don't write off people for that reason. Not everyone understands everything directly. On top of that, OP has provided a link clearly showing that it isn't Bitmixer he's talking about, but Bitmixor.

You would have noticed that if you took the effort to read the posts in this thread, so who exactly has to think before posting? Don't judge others on their mistake when you don't even take the effort to read through this thread.

How is bitmixer.io still a good mixing service after the original owner's weird final statement that clearly hinted he was pressured by a government agency?

It's a honeypot, dont use it.

Op stated already that site is bitmixor.io not the bitmixer.io, its impossible the bitmixer.io will wtill operate this time unless they sell the domain but that is a stupid decision if they did/do that. I feel sorry for your lost, just move even its too hard and even its completely unacceptable.

I can't imagine how someone could get into such scam site.
You probably never do a research before sent your bitcoin in the first place, or
You didn't check it properly, it is an official site or just a copy cat.
Since bitmixer have shutdown their business few months ago, everyone will know about it, simply by googling.
If you want to mix bitcoin, just visit https://chipmixer.com/ as this is the best mixing site so far which offers some features that you won't find in other mixing services. Visit Ann thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1935098.0

Did you get this link from one of the ads that were on google? If yes, you should really watch out for that in future so that you do not make the same mistake twice. Almost all ads that are listed in the first 2-3 hits when you search bitcoin mixer are going to be phishing sites trying to steal your money.

Only trust the links that come from this forum from their official account, or from an official reddit account.

Can't stress this enough. Avoiding phishing sites is as important as avoiding scam mixer sites.

Don't want to be rude but I think you have to analyze my post too. I don't post blindly, I always read other's posts. Yes I know op was talking about bitmixor but that user anon007 posted bad about bitmixer, not about bitmixor. So it wasn't fair from his side, bitmixer was great website with it's owner and they were very supportive so sayimg bad about them isn't correct action. That's all, I don't judge anyone here, this man just wasn't correct.

And another phishing scam website, using name of famous company to steal money. OP, you should be more careful before sending btc to various websites. First of all, you had to know that Bitmixer.io was closed long time ago. Secondly, always check address of website. Try to find all information about that website and be sure that domain belongs to original website. Now you lost your btc and I'm sorry for it. But I hope you will learn from this mistake. I know, it hurts to loose big amount of money, but you had to be more careful..

Sorry mate, you have lost your bitcoin already. Bitmixor is scam site and a lot of members here have been scammed as well. And bitmixer.io has been closed since July if I'm not mistaken. If you are looking for a trusted bitcoin services you might as well try Chipmixer which is my current signature. It already fill the void in the mixing services when Bitmixer closes. Damn, bitmixor has made tons of money from unsuspecting victims. That site should be totally shutdown an closed.

Oh God. That was an obvious one. Bitmixer closed months ago due to "not wanting to do it anymore" (obviously legal troubles but wouldn't admit it).

BRB I'm going to go Gogglelegitsearch.ru this to see what I can find.

For you to know your way to the forum And also to know he way bitcoin mixing services works, means that you are really not a newbie in the crypto world and that is the reason why I would be somehow harsh. The closing down of bitmixer is not something that is hidden to any whether you use it or you do not except people who decided not to feed themselves with the goings around the forum. But its a lesson though that always check again any services you used for a while to be sure the trust you have before is still being maintained.

However, there still other reputable services you can check out. A click on my signature can do the magic.

Bitmixer closed down shop a few months ago saying that they will follow a different path in life. After such thing happened many scammers immediately build websites with very similar addresses like bitmixer.io but they changed only one letter. Many users lost their money by being not careful to check the URL they were using when they wanted to mix their bitcoins. It is a good behavior if you come here and ask about a service if you check that they have changed the domain or address, probably you would have saved your coins. Anyway what is gone is gone , sorry for your loss but next time be more careful.
