Because first you have to get your private keys from that wallet. After that import it to any BTG client which can be found on their site here: https://bitcoingold.org or run a full node because most wallets listed there are for android/ios. You can also wait for the forked version of electrum for BTG, just like electron cash in BCH. But if you're planning to do it now. Coinomi is what I recommend.
