Title: Are low hash rates annoying to other pool members? Post by: gepr on June 26, 2013, 05:00:29 PM I'm really just playing around with mining. I've joined a pool, but my hash rates are much much lower than others in the pool. Is that annoying to other pool members? Obviously, the likelihood of my workers finding a block is very low. Am I contributing? Or am I considered a leech?

Yes you are contributing. you are doing work that someone else would have to do before the block was found. your reward is proportionate with your contribution. Mine On!
