Price of crypto has that weird habit of dropping after big announcements.  :)

If the news is already leaked, it should be pumping already. And it is. Why wait for the announcement. When the real announcement comes out, price will drop. Buy the rumor, sell the news and all that.

Depending on size of expected news we can assume a big pump will be on the corner. But we dont have enough knowledge about this signed contract so better to buy rumor to sell it before fact ;)

Powr is one of promissing project. In middle of altcoin price decrease, it can increase almost 300-400% so far.
I believe it can be to the moon.

Gonna keep an eye on it, seems to be doing good so far!

That was for sure. As the more good news come from the Australian government and it becomes a big bet for everyone to buy the more power ledger token. It's traded on the bittrex. bittrex gives a lot of the demand to the power ledger itself. My thought that the bittrex is the main reason for the power ledger to reach the current level.

If we can get a little more momentum, I think we will start seeing some serious fomo forming. I'm in no rush for this investment, the team is doing a great job, the money should follow.

Powr has the best performance these days, its just a start not noly for itself but the whole altcoin market, i think the market is becoming hot now, maybe will be hot as months ago

Power Ledger is a nice ICO i am sorry that i missed this opportunity.
As its already in profit i will wait for a price drop. If it drops i will enter but if not i will not.
Really sad that i didn't buy on ICO

Now POWR is being traded at 7 times the ICO price. So I expect the price to fall as the price rise has been done before.
This is what usually happens before such announcements in cryptocurrencies.

why you will enter if POWR drops? are you sure that price will grow after? so why doesn't enter now if you are think that price will grow?

As for me, I wanted to buy POWR on ICO, but that was the moment a lot of scam showed up in ICO world so I decided not to join, and now I, of course, pay attention to what's happening.

Sure, we should expect some crazy swings in the upcoming weeks. If you reallt want to wait for a dip, you might want to put a little in now if u believe it's a solid project longterm.

I am newbie. But it's amazing to see such diametrical views on this crypto currency. Some think that it will soon fall sharply, others think that it will grow further. I begin to understand the meaning of the fact that "Nobody knows anything at 100%."

If you look at the depth charts, this coin in heavily controlled by whale(s).

They have a saying, "buy the rumor sell the news". But also I have observed that things never go the way the herd thinks it will. The crypto market is the most volatile trading platform out today. One has to be on their toes with buying and selling or you may skip the spikes. Lots of sleepless nights!

Too early to say that, but " pump " is hope not reality. We need to wait until it happen but analyze is needed to decides follow or not?. If we were sure just join it if not leave it. POWR is new in the real market, need hard work and more time to pump again. But I can say that POWR has a good chance to pump but not at this moment. I'm sorry if my opinion not same with you but I didn't see how good POWR ( not yet ) in the rel market. Good luck POWR.

LOL, why not listen to "$POWR - admin team"  I mean pump team and prolong pump till Monday.      This team lost lost of integrity in my eyes and that is really bad start since i monitor them only 2 days.   But I guess I should not blame them. We here let that this pump and dump culture is going on unpunished. Now noobs see like that is a Crypto and adopt it.

I don't know, I think that might be a lot to infer from a small announcement delay. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just suggesting the team is moving a mile a minute and I'm willing to give them leeway.  Communication channels can always improve, however,  I'm impressed with what I've see  so far.  Just offering another opinion.

Well, this news is not a sensation. Government support - that's what really affected the price increase. I bought only 100 tokens. Just like that. I liked the idea. Trade in excess energy. I did not even suspect that this would be a good investment.

I do not understand what kind of project this is. I had seen the project before it was done, but I could not find any opportunity to research it. I could not be involved after. it went  below each ico value I entered. but it was all evaluated if I did not join the project. I   think I dont have a chance.  :-\

the price has now risen. from these levels I was not able to get in. I'm getting higher than every level :) now much higher levels but I still do not think to enter. it is probably waiting for my attendance. if I add, prices will definitely fall.  8)

Not this time! This guy was absolutely right, it's 47% up on coinmarketcap. And, as it is mostly traded to bitcoin (not some local fiat) and trading volume is 160 million dollars, so I don't think the price is pumped my coin creators or anybody else. Looks like it truly went up after the agreement announcement.
Why do you think so? Is there something specific that makes this coin so nice? Big mining profits, perhaps? They have quite a lot of partners, which is impressive, whereas their idea supporting ecology is rather vague.

Yep, definitely! Lets just hope it does better more powerful than this position. I love powr but it does seem pretty high for 350 million coins.    Whatever just loaded more, coming days it will more worth.

Your logic is that there will be a pump and dump just like all other ICOs.  But other ICOs pump base on rainbows and unicorn farts.  Power Ledger is the ONLY ICO that launched with a piloted product and massive government backing and regulation.

The best analogy for this is to look at Ripple.  Ripple also had a massive pump and dump shortly after launch, but at launch they didn't have a product - just dreams like all the other ICOs.  If you want to compare with Ripple, compare with Ripple when it hit the 16c range.  That's where Power Ledger is in the development lifecycle.  Did Ripple go to 16c then go back down to $0.006?  Do you expect Ripple to go back down to $0.006 levels?  No, right?

Some of you crypto investors sometimes seem to be huge gamblers - your whole investment analysis is based on looking at graphs, trends and past performances of similar tokens.  You completely ignore the product.  I watch all these youtube videos of crypto-investors touting the next breakout coin for 2018 and I look at the product and the product is shit.  The whole shill is just based on looking at a bloody graph!

Power Ledger is different.  Among the top 10 cryptos, it is way ahead of many that don't even have real-life application yet.  Out of the top 20 coins, only Stellar Lumens and Bitcoin are really being used in real-life applications in production environments.

POWR is surely different. It's one of my favorite coins because of exactly what you said. But the thread questions was just if there will be a pump. And there was a pump of approximately ~47%

It's always the same dude, buy the rumor and sell the news. See for example about ripple conference, ZEC JP morgan thing and many other pumps because of rumor. After the news hit expect to see some price getting hammered soon. There's always be a whale who controlled the price as always.

It was fake news. Thai, Indian and that Australian government invested. All news fake by same pump group maybe even linked to developers team. Who knows. One thing is sure, stupid money stupidity have no limits.

I am HODL'ing for the time being. I expect big big things from POWR and I think the idea could really flourish.

It's really difficult to judge. Be very careful because after all POWR is an altcoin that is heavily hyped.

The problem with this market is that there are many different companies all doing the same thing. With most products this is called market saturation, so i think if it does rise at all you would be best to sell. This is not something you want to hold for the long term because the risks are just too high. A competitor designs a better product and overnight you could see the price crumble. Suncontract seems to be the same but with a wider market. I'm staying away from both right now anyhow.

I do not quite understand why the Power Ledger is bad in the long term perspective? This is a good project, it has grown so well in price. After this project received government support, it flew to the moon. You are talking about competition. OK. But the competitors have not achieved anything yet, they did not enlist the support, they did not legalize their business.
Power Ledger is one of the good investments for the future.

I do not understand people who say that the project has competitors and it's bad! At all, I think that competition forces projects to work twice as efficiently, faster and improve their product. That's not Adidas and Nike, McDonald's and KFC are not competitors, but this does not prevent them from coexisting!
