Without patient in investment and msny things in life, one may stand ti lose out a lots. I have in sone situation waited for my investment to grow in some ICO and the waiting becsne futile at the end! Notwithstanding, many ICO recently have done 10 to 15 times profit for me!

Sure you always can make a good profits from ICO but as long you choose the right one, real ICO that have real project not like ponzi scheme or something. Alwast check before you make an investment just like you say mabe we need to do reasearch first and see their review and else

The only trustworthy website is coinmarketcap. It is shown all the history of price changing for token.
And it is east to use. Just chose the market you want to trade on.

It is true that what we can get from investing during ICO is huge but it is also true that over 50% of recently compeleted icos are either scam or not profitable. For example Kickcoin's price dumped by over 60% after ico and confido turned into scam.

The stats at ICOSTATS website are definitely correct but you have to keep in mind that the ICO's that give us 10x or 20x profits are very rare. More than 90% of the ICO tokens tank when they are launched at exchanges. I am very careful when investing in ICO.

They dont just get a huge value in a day after the ICO. The advertisements will continue and investors will still come afterwards.

We must always remember that ICO's are just the start of one company.
They will be doing a lot more to make it more useful so that they can pull people into using either coins or their own service.
But the problem is they dump it after seeing an ROI and a little profit.

Yeah some of the ICO give good profit because the value of the token will be increased in short term but not all tokens give profits most of the tokens will be worthless after we invested so be aware of about the ICO before investing on any ICO.It is better to invest on altcoin than the tokens because some of the altcoins giving huge price bumps in short time so you will get lot profit.

Indeed, so far, ICOs have brought huge benefits to early investors, but as more and more people join, ICOs are nowhere to go and find it hard to tell if it is a good project.

There're still some hope form the ICO but don't know why they are being jerk at sometimes. They could just raise the money honestly then develop the real projects for different product and services. I mean don't know why they need to go other way round get the money and fly away.

You are right I came across an ICO in the month of august as a bounty hunter, the ICO got good rating on icowatchlist but the outcome of the ICO doesn't deserve such rating. Many ICOs pay for good rating.

ICO is a first platform of a coin. so if the project is made by good plan the future of the coin will be shine. And you are the person if buy it on the ICO stage will be profitable. But you have to be patient always in there. It takes few time to go your goal. So ICO is a great platform to catch out a coin so early with lots of greedy bonus.

I agree there is lots of money to be made in ICO's although in order to turn a profit like anything you need to research the company and there product to make sure they are offering something useful and something that isn't already in the market. You can't expect to make big money investing in something that has already been done. If you find a solid project and they have a good product and a strong dev team then the moon is where you will go. Research is key for ICO's to be sure you find a gem. Even inferior ICO's are able to make a profit if you find the right time to sell.

NXT its top performer was a hodl of over 4 years though, and that list is only a handfull in comparison to the amounts of ICOs we're seeing and are upcoming. You either will have to really know what you're doing and do massive amounts of research finding that one thing you're looking for or become really lucky. Seems like platforms and chains where dapps and other chains can be built on are most succesfull though.

Thats so true. Nowadays people are so impatient because they are blind for reality of investments. No investment should make instant returns. As the verb "to invest in something" already implies, you put something in in the expectation that it will grow and turn out better. This cant happen within a week or a month. People in this space really need to be more patient and wait for the projects they invested in to deliver on their promises, everything before that happening is called market speculation and is nothing real.

It is true that the profits made by ICO now make it amazing that the most profitable way to invest in cryptographic money is through ICO, so I will also invest in some ICO.

There surely are huge profits to be made with ICO's, but only if you manage to pick the right ones. As there are too many projects to keep oversight at the moment I would always try to focus on projects that have a working product already and not only invest in mere ideas, because the risk is high that these ideas might never get realized by the projects. There is a lot of research needed to find the true gems among all those ICO's. But there surely are gems among them, those will bring great returns!

ICOs have a lot of potential and depending on level of risk you are willong to take, it can prove favorable to your investment.  Returns may be more than what you are expecting if that's the case.  You can not readily see whether an ICO will hit off but if you do enough research and observation as to how ICOs are now successful with their product. If you are unsure, also consult people you trust in this crytotrading world so that you could get logical recommendation.  Again, ultimately, you will be the one to decide if you really wish to support a certain ICO campaign. If an ICO hits it off, there really is a good chance of high gain from it hence, people still are into ICO despite some issues which piggyybanks on it.

I agree that ICO has a lot of money, although in order to turn profits like everything you need to research a company and there product to make sure that they offer something useful and something else is not on the market . You can not count on big money, investing in what has already been done.

Exactly, it takes time to earn from even good ICO.

If you look at the percentage, then the loss is no more than 20%. Some ICO in a small win. But some show good growth. I try to sell half at a good price and leave half for a long time. I expect a lot from some ICO like WePower, Titanium, Sether.

I guess the evaluation you are seeing on this website is misleading. They have compared the ROI based on the $ price.

Think about this....

You invested 1ETH in an ICO when ETH price was 200$ after ICO when the coin hit the exchanges then you sold this coin for 1ETH but now the ETH price is $1100

Now lets look at this... in dollar currency you  made 450% ROI by investing the ICO but did you really need to invest on that ICO to make 450% ROI?

If you would have hold your Eth then it would be the same.

Your 1 ETH was 1 ETH before and still it's 1ETH

WePower is on the hitlist of everyone due to the kind of project it has come up with and normally once the ICO is completed and the tokens are released into the market then the value of token is usually more than $1 but once all the newbie i mean the bounty campaign members sell out the tokens it drops drastically as the supply becomes more than the demand but the original value is determined only after 3 months from the date of release of tokens.

Different ICO bring different profits. Therefore, it is worth patiently working and waiting for results. Just do your job qualitatively.

ICOS are giving me a good profit so far, but only if you invest in real ICOS with real projects, there and just have patience and wait for the price to increase, and be happy.
my method of choosing ICO I read everything about the project, check the team, see if it is active, and if it already has a previous project that worked. that way I'm doing very well.

ICOs are both profitable and terribly non-profitable because it is very easy to fall into a scam even if everything looks correct. I recently read about the Symmetry fund exit scam, and that did look reasonably legit.

In December and January, a lot of ico showed huge growth. x5 x10 x12 in the etherium. But then the whole market grew. Now is a slightly different situation and one should be careful with new projects. Also, now is a good time to buy bitcoins and interesting altcoyins. Those who make good profits in ICO's hodl for a long time OR are also those who joined ICO's who are also very good traders who can make money any which way the market goes - whether it's a bull run or a bear market.

If you sell the coins buy in the ICO, when they reach the exchanges, it will be no good for you. People mostly dump the coins as soon as they reach the exchanges. But a better approach is to keep the coins save for some time and sell only when they reach high.

Not such amazing, the best time for ICO was year 2015, nowadays most of ICO are useless waste of time and money and you'll be lucky if they return to you the money you've invested

ICOs usually are high risks but once they hit exchanges they give good profit, the thing is, will it continue to give out profit in the future or will it go down and be worth nothing. ICO listing sites will give a review and prediction of how it can perform, but it depends largely on popularity of ICO that determines its success.
