I failed the Bittrex verification due to name missmatch. I have submitted the request with supporting evidence to Bittrex support.
Until now I have waited more than 7 days but no single reply or comment.
How long do I have to wait more? Anyone here have to suffer the same?

Now around cryptocurrency such a huge hype many people began to register on the exchanges. A couple of my friends can not take a check for 3 weeks already, the exchange does not respond.

After over 3 years of using Bittrex, I can honestly say; fuck them.

They disabled withdraws for long term users without verification - which pretty much defeats the purpose of crypto.

And they did so without any warning whatsoever. Fuck them.

The same thing that happened to me, I have long been trading and using bittrex, but when I want to withdraw, bittrex forbids me to withdraw with the reason my account has not been verified. I have verified and submitted all bittrex requests, but my account can not withdraw.

If the new account may have to be verified, but for long accounts I do not think it should be verified. Whatever they think, this is very dangerous and makes people lose assets.

Unfortunately, this situation is extremely normal for all the major exchanges, so in a way, don't worry. Verification (AML and KYC) are now the priorities for them, but they will never have enough staff to handle all these manual verifications esp with documentations.

I myself gave up since I didn't have deposits at some exchanges, but you'll see plenty of others in here complaining of worse waiting times.

What seems to work: keep bothering and asking. Email, Twitter, Reddit. Give all the details you can, but if you don't have money there, I guess you'll be at the lowest priority.

Bittrex, Polo, Coinbase, same story, different version.

I can honestly say that their verification are terrible. They were a great exchange site right after Poloniex went crazy and took off their trollbox and when I switched to Bittrex at first it was okay and later on became ugly. Had problems with verifying my account and all that, now I'm switching to Hitbtc and see if they are all the same.

I have the limit at zero bittrex. I sent a ticket 2 weeks ago. But there has never been a return.

I see a lot of people have waited more than 1 month but haven't been resolved yet. So it's take them more than 1 month to processed ? and without any reply ?
I have posted on their facebook, twitter and send email day by day. No reply yet.

I hope, you have no funds on Bittre×.
If so, case should be worth for scam accusation.

Hey all.  Im planning to use bittrex to mostly buy altcoins.  Thus send btc to bittrex and then buy altcoins.  Then do some daytrading and sell the altcoins back for btc etc.

I read all about the verification that people mention about here.  First off, i created an account already and put in my name and all that information. 


So if i send btc to bittrex, is that okay to do trading now?  Or should i send them more documents first?  Because i do not want to send btc there... and then when i want to withdraw... i find out i cannot because i have to send verification documents and then it takes very long etc.  I created bittrex account not that long ago but never did any deposit nor sent any documents.  Can someone tell me what is the best thing to do now?  I hear people say without enhanced verification, you cannot withdraw more than x bitcoin?  So what level am i now?  But you could still trade no matter what right?  But does that mean you cannot withdraw other altcoins etc?  Thus i don't want to have coins on bittrex where im not even sure if i could withdraw or not.  Can someone tell me the best way to go on with this as i do not want to send btc to bittrex until i know about this.  Also if you plan to sell for usdt etc, that requires more verification.  What exactly are the documents they want?

Bittrex support dont answer so fast, but they are rather faster than poloniex team. On poloniex it took 3 month to pass verification  ;D

I would say, it is very risky to deposit without confirmed ID verification.
Why? They limit accounts without warning and seem to keep all funds. If there is any problem with your ID or residence, your funds are probably lost. I would never trust an exchanger with higher anounts, who is acting like Bittrex seems to do (if we can believe the posts about this issue). If you want to stay secure, make little trades or let confirm your ID first.

I feel you and I know everyone here feels the same for not be able to withdraw their funds in bittrex like just it seems they are up to something that surely surprise us.
I'm having a hard time to verify my account and it really sucks thinking what if I can't verify my account and my money is stuck, all my hard works will turn to dust.

And I won't stuck myself in bittrex so now I'm trading for good in hitbtc and coinexchange besides bittrex isn't the only platform here so it's time for a better switch.

Can someone tell me if they have these issues still?  I put in my basic information and they cannot find it and mentions i need enhanced verification.  I have a bittrex account created but never sent in documents.  I want to start trading.  How long would it take for verification?


Also once you are verified, is there no limits in your account in terms of withdrawing?  The other thing is this.  Once you are fully verified, they cannot make your limits make to zero right?

I am coming to find out that Bittrex is terrible and I want out.

I stopped using them when they lowered withdrawal limit to 0.025btc per day to unverified users, now you can't even withdraw that without verification and this shit is getting worst. Judging to posts on this forum and reddit and complains it seems that they are rejecting verification and not allowing users to cashout their money. Like they are doing this on purpose.

Bittrex is scam, not verify account, neither reply to tickets

Bitttrex is not scam exchanges , verification fail is your mistake , am using bittrex years now , they have good security than the others !
you must have to wait patiently till they reply, it will take more than 7 day's. make sure to use very clear photo's for verify , otherwise it will fail again and again !

don't give them any documents they will abuse it. and will most definitely sell your information to multiple high paying buyers out there to also abuse it.

not to mention in the end they will close your account, disable withdrawals and rob you blind.
