Hi there, can I use SWAPPER.IO from another country?

Swapper is available for anyone subject to US tax laws. The ITO is open to purchasers in any legislation where it is legal for them.

Yes. When using the Swapper platform the fee is paid per swap in the currency that you choose to exchange from. The fee schedule is not finalized, however, the fees will be kept to an absolute minimum as the goal is volume in order to accommodate both large and small exchange users.

how if the fundraising didn't hit the hard cap ?
is there any soft cap or all furnds will be refundable ?

Hello, thanks for your interest in the project. Sorry if we were not clear, will rephrase in post: the soft cap is the 250,000 of the first phase. As the tool is not as complicated as others in the cryptosphere our costs are not so high and we are confident that we will build it no matter what. The team is also in talks for funding from different ventures, as the idea could be very useful even outside of crypto assets and our smart contracts are asset neutral.

What exchange(s) is it opening on after ITO?

At this time, TradeQwik and the decentralized ERC20 exchanges are confirmed. We have contacted HitBTC, Bittrex and Poloniex. They will be watching the project. In the end it comes down to the success of the ITO. Rest assured we want this to succeed for everyone involved.

The tool is not that complicated but the concept is complicated enough. The words you've used is purely based on laws, and most of us don't know we'll about that. I'm currently reading your WP.

What we mean is that technologically it is not hard to develop and will serve a very specific, concrete need. The law in itself is complex, of course. However the idea is born from practice, as our founder, who is a trader and lawyer, and has been using IRS 1031 exchanges consistently in his trading. Swapper is already legally registered as a Qualified Intermediary in the US. The idea is to make this process as simple as possible for traders and investors, while showing them how to protect their profits through diligence and good practice.

Do I understand correctly that this project is only aimed at US citizens? Only US citizens or people that are subject to taxation in the US are going to be able to use the platform am I right?

You are correct. The service will be for traders and investors who are subject to US tax law. However, anyone legally permitted to do so can purchase tokens in the ITO.

For the rest, an announcement:

Pursuant to US Law, Swapper is required to know its customers and prevent money laundering. We have partnered with Civic to ensure full compliance in that regard and ensure the integrity of our ITO. This was a last minute upgrade from our previous solution and is the cause of the delay.

Projects with such a concept could potentially attract cryptocurrency investors in general and in particular in the united states. Is there a possibility of this project to expand to other countries?

It certainly would be interesting. However it depends entirely on the possibilities each legal framework offers. For now people from from outside the U.S. can still purchase SWAP tokens and in that way participate in the project. Are you U.S. based? Just curious.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

First of all, we want to thank you for your efforts over the past three plus month as we tried to launch Swapper.io.

Unfortunately, the ICO did not go as any of us has had hoped. The passage of the new tax bill has ruled that only real estate will be applicable for Section 1031 Exchanges, which wipes out the primary purpose of Swapper. We have been busy with our legal team analyzing the possibility of continuing in one way or another but under the new law it is impossible, and we have been forced to close down our operations

We have decided to return all the Tokens issued through the ICO.

We will return the same value of Tokens that were purchased during the ITO and we will return that value in the same currency the purchaser used (ETH or BTC).

Our logic here is to return the same amount, USD based, as the SWAP tokens purchased.

We have paid legal, advertising and other administrative costs from our personal funds and will not get any reimbursement for those expenses. Our initial investments which currently well exceeds $15,000.00 will also be a loss for us to incur.

We appreciate the effort and the risk that was taken by everyone and hope we all have better results in our future endeavors.
